The truck was clean but low tire pressure light was on indicating low tire pressure on one of the rear tires. I saw it was a bit low on air but did not have time to put air in the tire. Location is very convenient right outside the holland tunnel making returns easy. The price is actually very good if you are not moving long distance a local move. It is 1.99 per mile but for local moves less than 20 miles its a good deal. Make sure you know where you can drive a truck because not all roads and bridges allow trucks.

There were homeless people that approached me in an aggressive manner and I had to hold on to my belongings for safety .

The PM return, there is usually only one man on duty and he is always busy. It was no problem for me, however people who lack patience may want a heads up. :)

I declined Safe Move coverage both on the app when reserving and verbally during the check-in. This location overrode my preference and charged me for the extra coverage. I disputed this, and they claimed to not be able to adjust. Will now have to follow-up with corporate to reverse the charge.. future renters beware.

Requested a furniture dolly and mats and neither was available. The truck I was give had an almost flat tire with a nail in it. When asked the attendant said there was no pump on the premise. Went to the Shell station across the street to put air in it. really should have been offered another vehicle.

Truck was clean and ready, but I also added a dolly and protective pads to my rental. When I arrived, they told me they did not have any. He said he was going to credit my account but that does not help my situation. I had to go to Walmart and buy some. He also told me the truck had 3/4 of a tank. I went to the truck and took a photo and showed him it was a little more than 1/2 a tank. Small things like that is what makes the experience not a pleasant one.

You need a higher availability of trucks. Luckily, we managed by using the truck for only 4 hours. Otherwise, we would have had to use another station.

Easy in and ou rental 10 ‘ truck place was not busy and the guy was very quick a year ago i give bad review because the same guy was so busy attending the gas station and I don’t knew he was alone doing everything.

I can't describe to you how gross, creepy, dirty, and broken down this location is. i genuinely think it's un salvageable and u-haul would be better abandoning this location. Not to mention the staff.... they are doing everything they can to give u-haul a bad name. these guys are terrible, just takes one look at their 1 star average reviews which paint a pretty bad picture of multiple negative incidents and interactions. couple con men hiding behind uhauls brand and reputation to rob the neighborhood.

Check out took forever. we did a self-checkout, and the app kept refusing my pictures. I had to retake several times. Also, the app allowed in-person check-in even though the location was closed.

The rep at the location doesn’t know any specifications of the trucks that is available. When i ask for the dimensions of the trucks bed of a 15’ truck. He rudely replies back as the truck is behind the building, go check it. He constantly yells and keeps saying nobody asked this question before, why do i ask him this question. I said, I can’t access inside and also don’t have tape measure on me. Called the customer service on the spot and found out the bed dimensions for 15’ truck was 12’ 5”. It took me seconds to find out and the rep has no idea. He initially argued me that I can’t do reservation there. I have to do online. Later on; he said, he could do on his computer. Sounds like that rep wants no clients.

The man working there was incredibly short with people and rude, the truck was not kept very clean and the “mobile pickup” did not save any time because the man does not acknowledge when you walk in.

The location gave me the vehicle with only 60 miles of gas on E and they are an Exxon gas station . Also they were very rude and kept stating they over charge everyone’s card their and claim it’s policy

to gas up the truck was outrageous i usually pay like 120 one way using my personal car but with uhaul it cost me one way like 400 dollars.

The truck was picked up on empty and the back latch wouldn’t close. I had to zip tie it to keep from opening on the highway

The owner of the location failed to explain the charges. The location also charged me for fuel when I had already disputed the charges owing to the fact that the fuel tank was refilled before dropping off the truck.

this appears to be an old exxon station, but it is not, maybe change the signage to a u-haul sign

Does this location even have a drop-box for keys? I looked all over the location and struggled to find one. And the instructions in the Uhaul app said absolutely nothing about where it was located.

THEY CHARGED US TWO (2) GALLONS OF GAS WHEN WE FILLED IT UP MORE THAN WE RECEIVED IT INITIALLY. TOOK PHOTOS AS PICKUP AND DROP OFF TO CONFIRM IT. HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO CONFIRMED THE STORE'S PHOTOS CONFIRMED OUR ARGUMENT AS WELL. SEEMS LIKE THEY TRIED TO PULL A FAST ONE TO PAD THE BILL. WILL RECONSIDER A DIFFERENT LOCATION IN THE FUTURE.

The equipment was clean. The only problem I had was the lock on the back of the van was not locking. I had to literally step on it twice for it to lock. Other than that I give him a 7 out of 10.
