The inside of the truck was dirty and sticky we had to clean it out. The appliance hand truck the wheels were sticking. We had difficulty moving the heavy stuff. If you are going to rent stuff it would be nice to have it clean and operational. I have rented in the past and everything was great. Not at all happy this time.

ALLEN BDonnie Debono is first class and every aspect of renting a U-Haul is taken to the next level with his company and employees. I not only recommend Debonos, I refuse to use any other dealer in the Cape Coral / Ft. Myers area.
GARY SRented from here multiple times and always smooth process and good staff. Recommend this location. My only concern was on this particular truck it shifted really slow/hard to the point I was afraid it wasn't going to shift up gear. This also probably affected MPG as it took over 8 gallon for 63 miles of driving, with only a partial load on 6 of those miles, otherwise empty. Door was dented badly didn't close properly.
Michael Rreps should get more money, they handle the gas station and the uhaul at the same time. great guys, mad respect for them.

It sounded like something was gonna fall off. Needless to say we used it and luckily it was a short distance but still. It should of never gone out .

KIERON TTruck was a little dirty overall - windshield was absolutely filthy. Was very hazy during daylight hours - at night it was a safety issue. I needed to stop driving and find towels and glass cleaner to proceed safely. Otherwise no issues with vehicle

RICHARD AThe guy at this location was so rude to my husband for zero reason. We dropped the truck off on our way to work, and used the drop box. He started freaking out on my husband saying he had to check the truck and if there’s anything wrong he was charging our card. Yeah, clearly. That’s what the drop box is literally for???? Super rude and it’s annoying because this is the only U-Haul location in Cape Coral. They need a better attitude and customer service skills.

Edward LWhen I went to get the pickup truck I rented, it wasn't available. The staff at Debonos told me it was rented and was overdue for return. They tried to call the renter, who apparently wouldn't answer the phone. They offered me an alternative: a cargo van. I had a schedule for the day that relied on the reservation I had made, so I had no choice but to accept the alternative. When I made the reservation I got a message that said "Your reservation is guaranteed or we will give you $50." I didn't even mention that to the Debonos personnel. The guarantee is probably worthless, since it's apparently based on U-Haul being at fault, and in this case they could simply say it wasn't their fault the truck I reserved was unavailable. But hey, quit taking reservations for equipment if you're not going to ride herd on the renters. Next time I need to rent a pickup truck I'll go to the airport for it, not a convenience store.

SARAH WMr Debono and Gia do outstanding work. I appreciated their customer focus and help.The ONLY issue I had was during the safety check of Uhaul auto hauler the person from Debonos checking the Auto Hauler lights for proper operation after hook-up did not have me turn on the Uhaul truck headlights to verify that the Auto Hauler running lights were working. It was daytime and the truck lights were set to Auto, thus the Auto Hauler running lights were not on/activated. All the turn signal and brake lights were working and verified. The issue was once it got dark on my trip, the truck auto lights kicked on and the trailer running lights did not come on making the trailer not visible for others and a dangerous situation while driving, let alone making me a constant target for law enforcement keeping the roadway safe. I stopped and contacted Uhaul roadside assistance and they were outstanding, and the Service tech was outstanding and had to run a new wire to the back of the auto hauler. It delayed my already 18 hour drive by 2 hours but all in all the issue was resolved. I was disappointed because one simple vehicle maintenance pre-check prior to customer rental put me and others on the roadway in peril, delayed my already long journey, and marred my overall great experience at Debonos Stop and Go. I will also say Uhaul roadside assistance was fantastic! Overall it was a great experience, but the equipment needs to be safe prior to rental.
REX CI filled the tank back to the 3/4 mark. But when I received my final bill, they still added a few gallons. Seems like a good way to make people not complain, but to easily make extra money.
CAMERON DDebonos is terrible, worst experience ever, the owner Don “The Bonehead” Denono is a real jerk with no social skills whatsoever, if he worked for me the first thing I would do is fire him, what a useless person to represent the UHaul brand!!!!
Randall RU-Haul always been good to me especially this last time with a one-way rental from Florida to North Carolina. The 15 foot truck I’ve rented ran great and was also great on gas. Thank you to everyone at U-Haul for everything you guys do to keep us moving and safe.
