The truck box was dirty, I had to sweep it out b-4 loading it. The rear tires are in need of replacement (tread was barely noticeable). If it rained I would have been concerned. That said...The customer service at Debono' s is 2nd to none. Chuck, Donnie and eveyone on thier team that I have met has been genuinely, friendly, personable, and professional. I only commented on the cleanliness and tire concern because the question was "What can we do to improve". Knowing how the Debono's care about having happy customers I felt they'd want to know. The truck being dirty wasn't that bothersome and no rain was in sight so I wasn't concerned about the tire issue. I believe this was my 6th or 7th rental with Debono's...they're really great!

You could be upfront of the charges. They asked where we were going we told them out of town. And they never mentioned it was more for out of town. Small business huge scam artists. We are not going to stop until our $ is refunded we are

The male worker was extremely rude and aggressive. He actually came outside to my son and got in his face and wanted to fight him all over gas. My receipt online saif 42.80, the receipt when the truck was picked up said 45.37 but yet my bank account says 54.44. I am NOT happy with the service we received this time and will never go back and would NEVER recommend them.

Faster checkin. Had to wait in line quite a while to be waited on both times we've rented a truck.

The gentleman that took my keys upon returning was rude and disrespectful. I explained I wasn't able to get gas because the way they have it set up the space to get to the pumps is too narrow and I didn't want to damage truck. He told me I could have stopped somewhere else then. I asked for receipt and was told we're closed. You'll find out tomorrow. Wasn't friendly at all and I will not use this location ever again.

I left some mail in the truck. It's completely my fault for forgetting it but I wish they would have called me and told me I left it instead of just throwing it away.

Let them know I will be dropping off the truck there. They had no idea even though I put the drop off location on my reservation.

This is my third time renting from this location. Everyone has been extremely courteous and helpful every time. The owner even came in early to help me get on the road sooner. This place is awesome!

Pleasant experience renting a UHAUL from this location. Easy in and out. Very insightful on the rental processes and additional equipment that my family needed for our move. I will definitely be recommending this location to friends and family!

Accessories not available as I had to drive to a different location in a different city to get packing pads. I understand it's not the locations fault but a inconvenient task. Window was broken and did not work and then dropped down while parked and soaked the inside of cab

Excellent service. Owner was able to change reservation for a bigger truck and it saved me many trips.

They had an issue with the computers being down as they were working on the internet in the area. This being said, they had a "back up plan" and called someone to have all the information relayed to them

I'm in my 50's so needless to say I have used U-haul many times in my life. This is the first time I have used this location. I reserved a truck, 1 furniture dolly and 12 furniture pads. When I picked the truck up they said "sorry we don't have a furniture dolly". Wasn't much I could do at that point. So I had to make my move without a much needed piece of equipment. I took the truck and when I got to my destination I noticed that there were 2 bags of 6 pads. However one of the bags was open and one of the pads was laying under the others in the truck. Didn't matter because one of the people helping us move is a mover by profession and he brought a few dozen of them so we didn't need the ones from U-haul. When I returned the truck I told her we didn't use the pads so they could take off both the dolly and the pads. She said they could not do that, that if the pads went out on the truck I was being charged for them. (Funny she didn't offer a credit for not having the equipment I reserved in advance, nor any credit for giving me one bag of used pads) That is so wrong on so many levels. The bags of pads that were on the truck were not touched by me and would be sent out with the next renter, even though the one bag was already opened when I got it. Then to add insult to injury my receipt showed $10 for 6 pads when my reservation said $10 for 12 pads. All these years I have rented U-hauls they have said just use what you need and if you don't use it we won't charge you for it. Many times the dollies are hooked to the side of the truck and as long as you don't unhook it you don't get charged. Same with the pads. As long as you didn't open the bag they don't charge you they just give it to the next customer. But not here! Plus they seemed too busy with the convenience store part of the business which made them appear frazzled. So like everything in today's world, instead of them saying no problem and being decent about it, I had to waste my time calling the corporate office and filing a complaint. Who had to waste their time and have an Area Manager waste his time calling me back. Even the area manager tried to argue with me that while they were on my truck they couldn't rent them to someone else. Seriously? Is that the only bag of pads they own? I don't think so. They just didn't want to be upright about it. The Manger did finally return my $10 but it left a bad taste in my mouth so that was the first time I've ever used De Bono's on Santa Barbara and it will be the last. I suggest the location on Hancock Bridge Pkwy or the new big location on 41 just south of Del Prado or even the 41 location in Fort Myers near Page Field. They were all very nice and have always been accommodating and pleasant to do business with. And one more thing, please give people the truck with more than 1/4 tank of gas. It forces you to get gas before you can go anywhere while you're paying helpers by the hour.
