The truck was dirty .. The back had so much trash in it that we had to seep it b4 I out my things in it!

Robert SmithThis location was 40 miles from the location that I had chosen online (80 miles round trip). Additionally, I was forced to go from a non-sales tax state to a state with a high sales tax costing me an additional $9 in charges. So a lot could be improved in having inventory closer to other UHaul locations. The man at the desk was very nice, so no problem with the staff at Delmar.

Doris BakerI picked another location that was closer to us. UHaul changed it to a different location the day before our scheduled pick up which ended up being farther than our choice. Why bother giving us a selection when we make a reservation if you change it anyway?

sally cornishThe gentleman there helped us out completely. We were told at the last minute that our Uhaul was not at our designated spot and that we have been rerouted to his facility. I was very upset due to the fact that no one let us know and the husband saw our U-Haul the day before we were supposed to pick it up at the location. Luckily I read the email before we passed his Location where we got our U-Haul. I have to give it to him he calmed me down and made sure that I would have a truck to use even though the other place did not have my truck. I was really upset I had been on the phone with Uhaul for over two hours trying to resolve this problem that the husband and I did not even make Uhaul dead. But the gentleman at the station made sure we had a truck and I am very grateful for him and his efforts. I just wish Uhaul as a company would stop making promises that they are unable to keep. We had to detour over an hour to get this truck. Maybe Uhaul should give him an incentive since he was so very helpful in renting us another truck to make sure we could go on our way.
CAROL RICHARDSONWasn't able to check in even though I brought it back in the middle of the day, a day early. They said "Dealer Network was down" but never got a confirmation it hyad been returned. I handed the keyn to the guy behind the counter so it was not after hours. A phone call that the return was processed would have been nice but didn't happen.
WILLIAM ASHERThis location is in a gas station making it confusing to me, and putting far too much pressure and work on the attendants. It's not much of a surprise that they don't have the same powers as other locations because they're literally being run out of a gas station. Sure, they're friendly, but they can't resolve customer issues and rely on the phone line to figure things out.

Matthew MorrisIn spite of my reservation, the only clerk manning the convenience store had no training on how to rent a truck, or use the UHAUL terminal. I waited for over an hour while she tried to start the contract. I ended up leaving my license and credit card, and used the truck without any contract written or created. Same thing when I returned the truck, same clerk, no receipt or invoice was possible. Unbeleivable!!!!! The convenience store does not answer the phone. I called the number 8-10 different times during business hours, never got an answer. This company will ruin the reputation of UHAUL in this area.
