Alvin CCustomer support is poor. 1). Reservation was made 2 weeks prior. 2 days before scheduled pick-up customer support calls and says the closest pick-up will be in another town an hour away. I say that's not acceptable and the lady actually says I'm free to contact Enterprise or Budget! After going around and around she gives me an additional day and $50. Not even enough to cover gas! On top of that, U-Haul calls later and asks if I would take a 12 ft trailer along because they need to get it down to Tucson. They offer $25! Told them no, they increase to $50 and I agree because I thought it would be good to put garage/backyard stuff in. While picking up the truck the agent and I determine that it pushed my limits and would increase the stress of the trip and deleted the reservation. I am grateful he took the time to help me consider it. It would have been a major pain to haul that behind thing. 2) Day before pick-up I call to verify that furniture pads will be ready. Lady assures me no problem. Get there and the agent says he hasn't seen a furniture pad in months! Have to call another U-Haul store and schedule picking up pads the next day. That puts me another 2 hours behind schedule. Agent there was nice but required payment in cash. Don't know where that $ went. 3) hours into a 1100 mile move with a fully loaded 26 ft truck, the check engine light comes on while we're going through the SW desert! Kept driving hoping we didn't break down. Truck made it but I didn't need that stress. Overall, the local agents I dealt with were friendly and helpful. They provided excellent customer service. The reservation coordinators are very poor.

ALAN DWas informed at this location that we were charged an extra $20 because we didn't call U-haul and inform them we dropped off the trailer Sunday afternoon. I must have missed it on the rental contract, but I know I wasn't told about it at pickup. The gentleman on site was friendly and was nice about informing me about the mistake.

clara oDennis was great! However dealing with the U-Haul people over the phone was exhausting. They made several mistakes which put us behind by hours and then wanted to charge us for going over on our time. They also did not have a 15' truck,at no fault of us,gave us a 20' truck and charged us for the 20' price even though it was their fault. We had to call U-Haul SEVERAL times waiting 10-20 minutes on hold each time and on one occasion even being transferred to someone else 3 times!! There is so much more to this story but long story short they messed up our reservation and wanted us to pay for even sending us 30 minutes in the opposite direction of the way we needed to go to get a truck then making us take it back to that same place. Ugh.

TONY MU haul is always my first choice when I'm in need of a trailer. Quick and easy in and out in just a few minutes.
Judy DCan't say much about the location; I used the 24/7 drop-off and that was very convenient. I did like the layout of the trailer parking; it was easy to pull through and just drop it in line with the others.
