The Uhaul company changed the pick up location 3 times. The day before I was to pick up the trailer, the location was changed to a location too far away. There was no time left to go to another company, so I had to change the trailer to something I didn't want.THOMAS C.

I paid for the CDW insurance. Accidentally broke a rear lens cover. Instead of the $150 deductible, I was charged the entire amount of the lens and lens replcement of $280 plus I was charged the insurance fee. The local U-haul store at 7014 6th Ave, Tacoma, WA 98406 told me Corporate would be calling me to discuss this. It's been 4 days and no contact. Very disappointed...Don't buy the CDW insurance. Its a junk fee apparently...MICHAEL F.

The customer service was very dry and unwelcoming and unpleasant. The lady that helped me was just sitting there eating her food. She had to find her mask and then put it on. I used the app to check-in early and she made up all kinds of excuses to why that system doesn't work the same as if you come in the store and it was a waste of time. She stated that she has been doing this so long that it would only take her 5-6 mins. There was no hand sanitizer at the counter. There was no cleaning supplies to wipe down the counter between the customers. I was not pleased at all so I will not recommend this establishment. An I hope to only use a closer uhaul to my house.Chas G.
No communication about equipment, rates or drop off locations. The older lady made everything uncomfortable throughout the whole process. The truck had damage all over that weren't mark with x stickers , she also asked questions unrelated to the leasing process. The trailer tie down were unsecure and the right ramp started sliding off during the ride. At drop off there were three people waiting for pick up but no one was there to help themJONATHAN C.

The van was caked in dust when I picked it up. It was missing an antenna, which made the radio difficult, if not impossible, to listen to. I had chosen the van option because I was led to believe I'd be renting a sprinter van, or something similar. I ended up with a GM van product, which I would not have opted for, had I known that was what I'd get (not the store's fault, Uhaul's website is misleading). The steering was 'loose', for lack of better word. I had inches of play on the wheel before feeling a response. The vehicle performed better when there was weight in the back. Pickup and drop-off were easy, do what you can online to speed up the process.Andrew K.

Only issue I had was that the gas tank was not full and I filled it up after, no discussion about that. I drove 23 miles and put in 4.5 gallons of gas .Left note with keys about miles to empty (292) # when picked up and when left it there (320). Need to do a better job about that. I got what 5 MPG. Don't agree with the charges. We put gas in the truck and may have been a small fraction under and they charged me $18 and then I had another small charge hit my debit card with no explanation. It is futile to question why because they won't change anything.ELISE R.

Didn't know until pick up time that I couldn't do an after hours drop off. This resulted in extra mileage on the truck as well as needing to pay for an uber and take time off of work. I suggest in the future that this information be shared in advance. I would have gone with another location if I would have known. Moving is already stressful enough. I did not receive any notification telling me where my pick up was going to be. I had to call Uhaul to research PU location. I was very disappointed with this process. The wanted me to pick up the truck and trailer at two different locations 30 min from home. I was on the phone for 45 minutes before we were able to resolve this issue.Kenneth P.

I selected this location because it was listed as a 24 hour return site. When I arrived I was informed they no longer allowed 24 hour return and had called that morning to let me know but I was on the road over to Tacoma. I had drove over from the east side of the state to help with a move are planned to return the u haul around 8 pm and drive back home. I had to end up and rent a hotel room so I could return the next day. Very frustrating and costly. I will never rent from u haul again.SCOTT DANIEL S.
Location was not open during business hours stated. Would not have been a big deal had the rep not lied about being open. I attempted to return the truck two different days which costed 1.69/ mile. Had they been open, I would have only been charged for 38 miles. Because they were not, I was charged for 110. When I stated she was open, she said we were here. I took pictures while sitting in their empty parking lot with a closed sign on the door and the gate to park the truck closed and locked. So when I stated this, she changed her story to well we were here for a few hours. When I called customer service they told me I would not be charged for the extra days or mileage. I was charged for the extra miles. Piss poor service. If they do not refund my money, I will post pics and stories to every social media outlet including one for military moving.EMILY G.

The roof leaked a lot so a lot of my valuable items were soaked and many items were damaged as they all got so wet. Any cardboard boxes near the leak fell apart they got so wet. I would never recommend it to anyone.ANTHONY T.
