MICHAEL HOwners are responsive, professional, and helpful on the front end getting a vehicle. And they are reasonable and helpful on the back end returning the vehicles. I've rented from them 3-4 times now. I like renting from them better than most of the U-Haul's I've been to that are in my area. Not every rental and move goes exactly as planned - moving may take longer than expected; it may be more tiring than expected; it may rain; help may not show up on time. The owners have heard and seen it all. They are communicative, fair and helpful. 5 stars. Good luck on your next move.

DONYELLE FCharming Family owned business. They were really nice and helpful. Even gave my 3 year old daughter some flowers. She loved that and the flowers are sitting in a vase in our kitchen. Truck was clean and ready to go. Check in and check out was hassle free and convenient.

The only positive reviews this place has is from “Local Guide”a reward system that Google uses to generate reviews that reward the people that do them chances are they have never even used this facility and are just trying to generate points and rewards for themselves by writing reviews. IAN GReduce your costs!! And advertising at $19.99 when, with all insurance riders and other add-on costs totaled over $100 for a 2-hour usage, provides an unrealistic expectation!

BONNIE LWe had reservations for 3:30 pm.The older woman at the location was very grumpy, gruff and rude. We ordered 6 moving blankets but did not use them. I returned them still in the bag and asked if we could get a refund. I was told no by a different woman. So, from beginning to end this was an experience that I would not recommend to anyone.

KATHERINE BOver the years I have used the location on 6th Ave several times. They are a small family run place and are always great.
DAVID SI parked on the 6th street side of the business and the door on that side was locked. There was no sign or note in the app directing me to park elsewhere. Some random lady wanted me to go to the other side, but that seemed strange. I never went inside, so no idea on clean/inviting/helpful...but if the back of the building is where stuff goes, it'd probably be a good idea to say that in the app.
Aaron HApril was a huge help. I needed a new fuse for the trailer lights to work, and she helped a lot in fixing the problem. Friendly service overall as well.

FRANCES RI had to unhook the trailer myself and move it across the parking lot by hand which was down a hill so it was difficult. I kept being told different places to put it and the staff member eventually just walked inside before I finished moving it.

JASON SDestination Rentals (7014 6th Ave Tacoma, WA 98406) is one of the worst places in which to do business. Their approach to customer service reflects their desire to find anything at all to exploit people when it comes to money that can be generated through cleaning or late fees, insurance claims, etc. Destination Rentals is like some two-bit racketeering operation run by ethically-challenged crooks in a cheesy TV crime show. The principle person at Destination Rentals, is Mary. Mary corrupts the rental process with sub-standard inspections, inaccurate and misleading advisements to customers, misuse of payment processes, inconsistent business policies, and a general distain towards those that do not fit through her very narrow demographic filter of who gets any respect at all. Mary at Destination Rentals runs a very unprofessional franchise, making U-Haul look like just another crumby company that tolerates crumby franchises like Destination Rentals. Mary seems like a very unhappy person, which shows through at Destination Rentals. Perhaps you'll have a great experience there. We didn't, and 8 people (so far) that we have connected with pertaining to issues they had with Destination Rentals feel the same way. The more we looked, the more we saw...... Think twice, and then think again if you are considering working with Destination Rentals in Tacoma ,WA

CHRISTOPHER MI have been renting from Mary and April for close to 7 years now for my home staging company. I am in there multiple times a week and they are always wonderful and get me in and out of there quickly.

EDWARD RThe step up into the truck was very difficult for a short person .maybe another step up would improve it greatly. The seat belt was horrible barely fit over me to buckle I suggest a longer adjustable belt. The mileage cost rental and refilling it with gas was horrific. I will never rent that kind of truck again. It also ran bumpy and jerkey!

JO AOhhhh my god where do I begin first and foremost this is my third time at this location and it keeps getting worse and worse this time was the owrst by far. I’m a white male my wife is an African American not has April dismissed my wife once but three times avoiding her denying her service and passing us along to another associate to help another person that is Caucasian she was very rude sarcastic and down right disrespectful acting very predijuce and not very accommodating. The last time we were over charged charged for cigarettes smells when we don’t even smoke at all. This is completely unacceptable that my wife feels unsafe and and dismissed and not being service because she is black this is completely unacceptable and this isn’t the first time this has happened this location needs to be shut down
JERMAINE RThe location is good and vehicles are maintained well. I was overcharged on my mileage and have reached out about it, but haven't heard anything yet, so that's disappointing. The lady checking my vehicle in wasn't the friendliest and told me to hand her the keys and she would send a receipt. This was before I was able to do my mobile check-in myself and verify the mileage, so it felt a little rushed and now I'm having to try and get my receipt fixed. It's bothersome.
