I was unable to rate “this location” as this is my first time using U-Haul, but my “experience” was 4 stars. Since I was “forced” to pick one just to complete this survey, that alone warrants one star. Also, in general I t would help to add a sign, “Did you remember to fill up?” to the truck lot entrance to remind returnees. It benefits both company and customer. Thanks.

Howard MWhile the truck was great and easily accessible, the lady who worked and helped me was quite rude. She was very short and did not have good customer service skills. I would recommend this service to people, except for the fact that talking to this woman was the downfall of this experience.

MICHAEL CThe truck was dirty on inside and needed to be washed. I returned with a very small amount of dirt in the groves of the bed liner. I was charged a 25 cleaning fee and told that I needed to clean it better. I had washed the bed out with a hose

EDWARD TThey had the equipment I needed and were very helpful setup trailer to my truck. Was also a quick turn around only 15 minutes from walking in and driving away. The return was less the 10 minutes.
LYNN BWas told the amount of fuel to have before returning and I was still charged for fuel even though I brought uhaul back over the amount the staff said. The whole thing is a crazy to overcharge people unnecessarily.

I rented the truck between the hours 6pm-1am, 13 hours total and was charged 2 rental periods and 2 periods of insurance which was not communicated to me at time of signing for the truck!l. I was never told of my return time being 3 hours and 15 min after renting the truck (9:15pm). I estimated a distance of 60 miles, to move, travel and unpack in 3 hours just doesn’t make sense to why I was charged the way I was behind my back.

DIANE SAt first, I got a call directed me to return the trailer to a very dangerous part of town. I’m a senior citizen and I was afraid to go there. I went to my original drop off location and they were very kind and understanding and took great care of me.
DEBRA TThe two women I worked with not very pleasant. One never say goodbye when a phone call. She just hung up. The other didn't even reply when I said "Thanks...have a good rest of the day." Not a horrible experience, but unpleasant enough that I won't go back there.

TIM RI have rented from U-Haul for a couple decades now and this was one of the best experiences ever. They were not only quick and efficient but also extremely friendly and professional. I had rented a trailer the previous day from the “Gig Harbor Coffee U-Haul” and had to return it after only a few hours because I needed a different sized trailer. That decision turned out to be sketchy because the guy who works there never officially returned the two day rental trailer and it was still open in the system the next day. He was either lazy, trying to charge me for the additional day, possibly double renting it, or worse… Either way, I could’ve been on the hook for any damages or even theft. Super unprofessional and possibly nefarious. I was so lucky that the awesome gals at this location spotted this situation, called corporate, and they took care of everything to make sure I wasn’t getting scammed. They went above and beyond on my behalf and I am forever grateful. I highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone. These people are real humans who care. Thank you!!!!
KATHERINE MI've used this location many times, usually twice a year for a pickup truck. I recently brought my daughter to this location because I had had such good experiences. Clearly things have changed. I've never met the woman I dealt with this time. I've always worked with April and she's always been very pleasant and helpful. I am not familiar with the app and wasn't given any information when I was at the counter. I was unaware that I had to use the app to return the truck after hours. I was having trouble opening the links I was emailed and subsequently couldn't read them. I thought I was doing the right thing returning the truck after hours and dropping off the keys. I fueled it, I believe I left it clean but was charged an after hour fee and a cleaning fee. This feels like a cash grab. I have history here, I've never had an issue here. I did take video of the truck before and after and I don't believe I shouldn't been charged these fees. I was surprised at the final invoice and when I spoke to Mary, she wasn't very helpful. In fact, she was rude. She interrupted me, spoke over me and seemed argumentative. I think it would've been really helpful to have mentioned the app while I was at the counter picking up. It is clearly a new process as I didn't have to do that last time. This really impacted me financially at a tough time. I'm just going to avoid this location in the future.
APRIL FVery rude and pushy customer service. Throwing hands in the air. There was no hello, how are you type of interaction. More like I was in her way or a thorn in her side.
DERRICK MThe front desk lady with gray hair, older woman was racist. I have back scoliosis and I am pretty short, she called me disabled and asked if I could actually drive the truck. I came driving my own car and the truck was only 10 ft. The comments made were unfiltered and pretty upsetting.

Emily HEverything was ready to go when we arrived. Easy in and out for the rental.
LEANORA NTrailer left side tail light was inoperative, but only discovered after dark (towing vehicle does not use daylight running lights). Brakes and blinkers were checked and working properly. Right side tire/wheel hub had some play or movement, indicating excessive bearing or axle wear. Had to sweep out and clean trailer floor before loading cargo. Sliding door seal leaked water into cargo floor area. Nonetheless I am happy that I was able to make the delivery, as planned. U-Haul customer service was very good.
