I had the go ahead to store the trailer at the Uhaul yard in Dartmouth from an agent on the phone for overnight but was turned away when I tried to park it. The place I was staying had no driveway or curb parking this caused a great deal of last min. greefJohn B.

Go visit this location. Yuck. Dangerous. I had to walk through a filthy garage with jacked up vehicles on either side of me. It was dangerous abd uncomfortable and filthy. The guy had no clue what he was doing.goldie B.
Originally booked trailer from Digby to ChÃ©ticamp. The drop off location online said Baddeck was the closest location. After arriving in ChÃ©ticamp I called the Baddeck location and found out they had stopped Uhaul services and were no longer a drop off location. I called DF Beaton Service center and they gave me a contact number for Uhaul to sort the problem out. A couple mins on the phone and got the Drop off location changed to Port hood, which wasnt to far out of the way. 24/7 drop off was very convenient!Alexander Ross K.

This was my first uhaul rental. It was TERRIBLE!! First there were none avail in my location after telling me there were. I had to drive over 2 hrs to pick one up. Got there for 1030am.... rented it out night before and had to wait till after 1 pm before it came back. I could have been back home and loading up. It cost me 95 dlars to fill it when I picked it up and by the time I got home the 2.5 hrs it qas on half a tank. Customer service were very friendly and when I dropped it off they were great but the overall booking is very unorganized. Should be revamped for sure. This location is quite a far distance from my home, an hours drive. So not convenient. Also the computer system was down and so I had to do the check in on my phone using my data and the wifi was really poor. This took me over 30 minutes to do. And there was a crack in the windshield of the truck and I was worried to be charged for this. This should have been noted somewhere and acknowledged. The plus was the owner And staff of the garage were extremely friendly and helpful. I feel the deficits of my experience don't reflect on them.Jennifer D.

I rented a 26 foot truck online one week before pick up date. I was given a smaller truck and trailer day of pick up which did not suit my needs. I understand the policy of first come first serve however the whole point of pre booking was to make sure i had large enough truck.carolyn M.

Apent 2 hours on the phone juat to find a uhaul location, this was the only one around they told me. When i got there they said there were many locations. Had to spend a good 30 minutes on the phone at the garage to find out nothing was bookes properly, even had a made up email address on my profile etc. The trail had a lot of rust on it, wasnt able to get the straps out of the ratchets when i reaches the drop off location for the car, had to soak the ratchets in penetrating grease overnight. Was a struggle but managed to get the straps free.Rene L.

There was no problem on the business end.It would have made moving easier if some tarps for covering boxes and furniture were included for use. A ramp for rolling up heavier articles would have been helpful.Thank you.Coline C.
My pick up time was booked for 1630. When I arrived there wasn't any staffed trained for uhaul. They called someone who was 20 minutes away. Just then the owner arrived but he was busy doing something else. After 20 minutes, I was told trained staff member was stuck in construction. Meantime the owner who was trained left. I waited another 15 minutes and the owner called to notify that Uhaul would call the site and take my payment over the phone. The phone was in the garage office with no privacy. Everyone could hear my conversation. It was difficult to hear because of the busy office. The person on the phone had to repeat several times. Very unprofessional experience.Murielle D.

Uhaul should see the location very dirty inside and out! You have to walk through a garage where they are working on cars on hoists very unsafe i would use uhaul again but i would never go to that porthood pick up location. Someone from uhaul needs to do a surprise visit and see how dirty and unsafe it really is!MICAH O.
