We were also over charged for gas. I brought it back well over the amount it was picked up with and was still charged a fee for gas. Brutal location and communication. Will not use again.

TOMO CWaited over an hour for the "manager" to show up. Said he "had to go to the bank" then after renting the bill showed a $20 charge for cdm or whatever the uhaul insurance is. I specifically opted out of it because we have commercial insurance. Uhaul is constantly doing this. Very annoying and inconvenient to have to deal with your company and its nonsense. After Hundreds of issues and rentals I've never even received an apology nor a discount for the experiences. Your app doesn't work properly. Your online booking doesn't work properly. Your after hour check out doesn't work properly. But yet here we are again and again.

VANESSA WWe did a self drop off that was easy to do. I would suggest letting the user know that a picture of all sides is needed earlier in the process as we had parked the trailer and one side (driver's) was close to another trailer making it difficult to take the picture.
Gregg MI filled the gas back to where it was based on consumption of 20 litres per 100 kilometres. I only travelled 70 when I received the final bill they added another 20+ dollars for gas. I called, the lady was rude. I have used them before but will never use them again. The needle was higher then when I received the vehicle.

CLAUDE NI submitted a request to adjust my price as the fuel wasn’t full at pick up however my feedback was ignored, my card charged and no one contacted me. In addition to submitting the feedback during the online drop off process, I also left a voice message at the office with my contact number and email and no one responded to that either. I covered 9 miles in the truck and yet had to fill up $25 (16 litres), clearly showing the truck wasn’t full when I picked it up. I would like a price adjustment.

Kenneth CI had a truck reservation, i was late for pickup, i still thought that it’s reserved on my name but the representative there let me know that it’s gone already and only available was van and i had to take the van instead. I called customer service they denied for guarantee $50 for reserved equipment not available.

JOHN BI had not rented a U-Haul in Whitby before (only once previously in Peterborough), so I wasn't sure if the process would be as easy as it seemed online. Thankfully, it was! The experience from booking online all through pick-up and drop-off, was super easy and wonderful. The two people who worked at the DGT Home Improvements location were SO lovely. The woman who checked us in was fast, friendly, and ensured we were aware of all the necessary information before leaving. The man who helped us with the truck was also really friendly and helpful - he had dusted the snow off the van twice, which was really helpful! He ensured we were comfortable with the truck and had any questions, and reiterated where to drop the keys off when we were done. Pick up was super smooth, and the drop-off was as well. We parked the van back in it's spot and headed up to hand-in the keys. We took a picture of the dashboard (for mileage and gas gauge) and he was so appreciative of it. Apparently we had also met our mileage estimate exactly, which he had never seen and made for a really funny interaction overall. Great people, and everything was flawless and efficient - highly recommend and will be using the service again for any future moving needs (and will recommend to others!). Thank you so much!

LUKE HUsing The app to do a mobile check in is glitchy and takes way to long. The app is just shit overall and needs some serious work. Not sure why the app is asking me to rewrite/resubmit answers I already provided before when booking the truck?
Nirsan VVery poor lighting at the back of the building where the uHaul trucks are parked. When picking up after hours using the mobile app, the instructions state that the equipment number (TM number) is located at the bottom left of the truck - It is located at the TOP RIGHT on the back of the truck. When retrieving the truck key, enter the 4 digit word/code and firmly press down on the lever while yanking on the lock (since they are outside, they tend to seize up).

TIMOTHY SI used the truck share app and , frankly, it was useless! After spending over 20 minutes setting up the account and talking with your staff, who were not helpful, I was told I had to go inside to the office to get the keys. Kind of defeats the purpose of remote check-in, doesn’t it? I get to the office just to find that the attendant is out for lunch and I had to wait even longer to get the keys, while using remote check-in. THEN, when returning the truck, I was only told the app expected pictures of the vehicle AFTER I had dropped the keys in the drop-box. Would have been useful to give me that tidbit of advice BEFOREHAND! Frankly, completely disgusted with the overall experience.

KRISTIN FDisastrous pickup. Told to be there at 8am, no staff there, not open until 9. We came back at 9 & they had given away our truck because we weren’t there at 8! Another customer volunteered to give up the van they had booked as they were waiting for an upgrade! If we have a choice, will never deal with this company again. Staff rude & unprofessional as hell!

Had an amazing experience - super helpful, knowledgeable and informative. All staff made pick up and return a smooth experience.

Travis MDo your job properly. Incompetent workers who are either high on drugs or smelling like alcohol. Clean this place up and do better. I rented a cargo van with 1997km and returned it with 2199km. I get a receipt saying I drove 999km. Please tell me how I drove an additional 800km with only pumpin $56 of gas.
