I have rented U-Hauls several times, and each time I've completed the web express check in. Every time I arrive for pickup, the information I provided has not be available to the pickup location and I've had to give it all again. I don't think this is a problem with the pickup location, rather it is the U Haul web system. Fix this please.

How's the customer for well over 35 years of U-Haul I have juice U-Haul more times than I can count, it's not location it's the people that if I have a problem with my rental the way is professionally dealt with. The equipment well-maintained always roadworthy always clean anytime I've had an issue equipment was changed over and I sent me on my way U-Haul keep up the great work you've been doing for the last 35 years and hopefully I'll rent you for another 20 years

While the overage process went relatively smoothly as the customer service rep was knowledgeable, these are the issues with my rental. I found the truck was struggling (the engine light was on). I found it difficult to find the office - the signage outside and toward the office should be bigger (printed, not hand written).

The vehicle required service as per message on the dashboard....I dropped off vehicle at another location.... I was overcharged miles on my final bill and have sent multiple emails requesting a correction that has not happened and no one has had the courtesy of contacting me and correcting the overcharge ...

We booked a 20 foot truck to pick up in Pickering. We got a call saying the closest one would be Oshawa which was inconvenient but doable. The day before the move I received an email saying the truck would need to be picked up in Hampton which is 40 min one way from where our home was located. I called uhaul and got the run around then finally transferred to a staff who clearly isn’t trained in customer service not uhaul policy. I then asked to speak to a manager who changed our reservation to a Scarborough location. When we arrived the truck looked smaller then 20 feet however the agent told us it was indeed 20 feet. Negative, we took the truck home and had to move for 20 hours and do 2 trips because Uhaul did not provide the truck we booked. Disappointed. Next time I will book elsewhere.

Gas was not full as clerk and paperwork specified. Person that wanted me to inspect truck did not have a driver's licence therefore I had to pull the truck out myself to inspect.

after an absolutely horrible,, appalling and potentially dangerous experience at 2459 Princess St, Kingston uhaul moving and storage of kingston, where the useless and disengaged employees tried twice to send us and our kids away with unsafe equipment ( non working trailer lights) Caraco gave us good service and a safe and clean trailer.

Office closed at 4pm. Called guelph where I picked up truck. Told there was a drop box. Looked for it but could not find it. Not next to entry door. Had to ask convenience store clerk and he guided me to it. Imagine that it was in front of a landscape planter at the corner of the builddulinf facing away from the building. Very frustrating.

The breaks were in terrible condition. Couldn't return as location was no longer open. Did not feel safe and did not use vehicle and was still billed. Unhappy.

There are charges on my bill that i was not advised would be there and when i went to return the truck within business hours there was nobody there. I also bought a role of tape that had a sticker for $2.95 like all the other roles of tape on the wall and she charged me almost double saying that was the US price. The office is in Canada why is everything labelled with American prices that is false advertising

Location was changed, subbed out, from the original pickup location to another. Why did you not inform the customer about the substitution? I had to call the main 1-800 number the day before pickup to confirm whether I had 0, 1 or 2 trucks. Was given confirmation of 1 truck at the second location. Then, the next morning when I went to pick up the truck it had been given away; had 0 trucks after all. What a terrible customer experience, not completely the fault of the second location, U-Haul’s procedures contributed to the poor experience. Did end up getting a truck after convincing U-Haul to provide a 2-way truck for 1/2 price and double mileage, instead of the 1-way truck they had confirmed. And then there is the 1/4 fuel tank reading. You get a truck with a 1/4 full reading, but when you fill up the truck the gas gauge does not move beyond the 1/4 mark, never sure how much gas you have beyond that mark. Gauge only moves once below 1/4, then you have to guess how much gas to put in when returning the truck. Not my preferred method. Less likelihood of choosing U-Haul in the future unless I hear better stories and experiences from others — I do share my experiences with others who ask about my move.
