mark gThey did not check the vehicle before handing over. The AC was not functional at all. We drove from Toronto which was colder so AC was not turned on. However approaching Tennessee and Texas we drove without AC for over 12 hrs in hot and humid temperatures...it just worked for a while.and then it completely atopped working. Also the cabin was not clean. There was a constant bad smell in the cabin which we later realized that someone left their leftover lunch from days behind the driver's seat floor that had caught fungus. Aren't they suppose to check and clear all these things before handing over??? Also, to hand over 131K miles driven vehicle for such a long haul to their customers was least expected from UHAUL. I was told by customer service at the time of booking that uhaul will give newer and/or better vehicle for such a longer travel. Unfortunately seeing the vehicle at the time.of pick up stressed us out. They said we do not have any option because that's the only vehicle that can travel to Texas as they have sold the vehicle to be delivered to Texas. So in other words they used me to transport this junk from Toronto to Dallas and made money out of it by making me pay for this miserable experience. I am highly upset.

Paul MI reserved a trailer for pickup at this location. I arrived at the appointed time only to discover the office was closed in the middle of the day and during regular hours. I then had to call to have someone show up to open the office and handle the reservation. The individual who arrived seemed disgruntled that they had to come to the office as I was their only reservation for the day and he wasn't making much money off of my reservation. He then proceeded to tell me that the U-Haul app had not charged me enough. I didn't set the rate. In the end, I finally got a trailer (the 2nd one we looked at since the first was damaged) and I ended up paying more than the app quoted me as it appears the individual manipulated the figures and I paid more taxes than was called for. I have used U-Haul on numerous occasions and this was by far the least pleasant. I won't be returning.
