I had originally reserved a trailer from a business up the road and no one was there when we picked up. We waited almost 30 minutes. Phones were out of service as well. Uhaul CS helped us reserve up the road but was not empathetic to the situationJoy B.

The pickup location was great. The only issues I had were finding a one-way motorcycle trailer rental, because I couldn't find a single available trailer in Fayetteville. This town is home to the largest military base in the US. That's a problem. There were over 15 trailers but they were only to be used for in-town rentals. Thanks to you guys, I am now an owner of my own motorcycle trailer and will never rent Fromm Uhaul again. If you're not dependable, I'll never spend on you again. Your people are great, your policies suck.Scott H.

Cab of truck smelled really bad of cigarette smoke. Upon further inspection the ashtray was full of cigarette butts. We cleaned out the ash tray but smell never left truck. Used air freshener and rode with opened windows and still smelled when we turned it in. Consider no smoking policyJim H.
Make sure that the place customers make reservations have the needed vehicle! My location was changed twice the day I was picking up my truck. first time 15 miles away from original location, which was only 5 miles from me house. The second they were trying to get me to drive 45 minutes out the way. Then finally my third location they had a SMALLER truck. This was all changed in a 2 hour time period. Agents were RUDE as ever. I had to wait until the store owner do a vehicle inspection a personal vehicle first. I quoted a price of $298.00 plus tax $303.00. I was charged an extra $74.00 which is more than I paid for a 20 footer truck in the weeks before.RONNIE L.

My uhaul was due back at 10:04am. I arrived at drop off location at 9:25. I used the after hours drop off box. The uhaul store did not open until 10. My completed order was not processed until 11:10. I still don't know if I was charged for the late day fee.Breanna F.

-Have the equipment the customer reserved available. -Don't take 40 minutes to rent out a truck. -Have the employee who knows how to use the system helping the customer. -Don't answer other calls/texts while helping said customer when there are five other employees available to help. -Don't give customer the wrong equipment, then take it back, give it to another customer & tell first customer that wasn't there's, they didn't rent that but you'll remove it from their bill so they won't get charged. What you should've done INSTEAD was -put a knowledgable employee on the computer. -CALL UHAUL and find out where the equipment the customer rented actually was or perhaps call another uhaul location & locate another one. -helping the customer actually get the equiptment would have been completely amazing making a miserable experience much better. Instead we were told we would be getting a refund for the equipment that she swore wasn't even on our contract. because I don't live there I didn't know that there is an actual uhaul location 10 minutes down the road from them. Even if they're just as incompetent, they at least had tons of trucks etc so what you reserved is probably there. Uhaul & dirty south are both at fault here. Uhaul should never have made a reservation at a place without the equipment & dirty south should never have accepted the reservation for equipment they didn't possess.Jennifer C.
They were friendly and easy to work with but they had me sign for the cleanliness of the truck before i seen it. When i got to the truck there was trash in the back and empty bottles on the floor of the cab. Gas was at a 1/4 tank which i never seen but that was probably the fault of the previous renter. Truck handled and ran great. I wasnt happy about picking the truck up at a location other than the one i requested.Samual Z.

Uhaul customers are low on their priority list. They would not assist me until all other Dirty South customers had been taken care of first, even though I had been standing in line the longest. Returned the vehicle with the same amount of gas that I received it and was still charged for additional gas (this occurred after I had left, was not notified beforehand whatsoever).Ashley S.
My comments refer to my overall experience with U-Haul and not the individual location that I picked up and returned the vehicle to. The telephone customer service I experienced from the beginning was absolutely unprofessional, dis-courteous, inaccurate and unreliable. It took 5 days to confirm a reservation and the representatives I spoke with were not only rude but also displayed no empathy and a strong sense of uncaring when handling my reservation. Excellent customer service is FREE and this company definitely should invest in professional development to improve the quality of a customer's experience when dealing with such a well known company.Michelle D.

1. i called the Bragg Blvd loc because that was where "I" wanted to pick up the trailer NOT somewhere else picked by a computer!!! I was told that I had to go to another loc and that I couldn't cancel the resv. It was also implied that it was my fault because I didn't check my email. BS I am not one of those who lives and dies by the phone or e-mail!. I called Bragg Blvd because I had business in that area that afternoon. 2. I was told I had to go to another loc for which I was given the wrong area. it was hard to find.and I wasted time and gas finding the place. 3. At the PU loc I hooked up the trailer myself. with no assistance, no inspection at site to see if I hooked it up correctly. Totally no concern. 4. Today when I called the u-haul service at 800 528-0355 I ask to be put in contact with someone so we could discuss this and told OK and then placed on hold for 10 min and finally I hung up. I'm 64 and this is my worst experience with u-haul ever. I WILL NOT use your services in Fayetteville again. I will wait for my next trip down and bring my own trailer. I'm there every 2-3 months. I have used u-haul several times in the past few years and may use someone else next time.RON J.

First off I had to go to two different locations to pick up the uhaul after I had a reservation for a certain location. Secondly I have been charged for five days when I only had the truck for 2 days and thirdly supposedly my card didn't go through and instead of calling me apparently my contract was sent to collections. Lastly when a manager called me after I complained about the above spoken issues he was very rude. This will be the last time I do business with uhaulDeidre M.
