Barry FGreat service, great customer service by employee. My previous location hadn't opened and I couldn't get my truck, luckily the next option was open, ready, and available to help me get on my way, even if it was about two hours later. Bad start finished better.
Manuel PThe location looks run down and disorganized. Sedans are being washed on premises. Office is in a trailer with unrelated stuff like a washing machine. The service was good. Equipment was clean. I'd rent from here again.

Saul ZThis is not the local Discount Auto issue. This is a UHaul company issue. I am being charged full price, however I ordered a 20ft truck which I found out because I happen to need more boxes so I went to the location where I had a confirmation of a 20 foot truck and I was told when I got there that he doesn’t carry 20 foot trucks. He has 10 and sometimes 15 but he had only tens at the time. I would’ve been really stuck if I had not found this out by chance so I called into your office and I was relocated to a different uhaul location and I was told that they are sure I will get a 17 foot truck because I couldn’t get my 20 foot truck unless I drove out further from where I wanted to be. So I went ahead and agreed to take the 17 foot truck even though it was going to cause me to make multiple trips. Making the move slightly harder. Then on Saturday I arrived and there was no 17 foot truck. I find out I have have to be switched to a 15 foot truck. My move was only a block and a half away, but because I was downgraded again to a 15 foot truck we still had to make multiple trips. The movers took longer because they had to stop and start again instead of doing a full load in one go and unloading in one go I’m not happy about discovering the day of the move. I got a 15 foot truck instead of 17 and instead of 20 which was my original want when I booked this reservation in advance about three weeks ago. I don’t think I should be charged full price. Especially when it seems to not be your companies practice to call and inform your customers of what you don’t have.

FERNANDO XCalvin, Loran, and Bryanna are the Best. These are really good people. It actually makes me a little sad that it was time to move my stuff out. The experiences I had here talking with staff, and using the safe clean facility, made for a very cool introduction to Oakland. Thank you for making me feel welcome and valued. I can't think of anything that needs improvement. The organization of this facility is very impressive. Calvin runs a tight ship.
Joshua MI booked for a furniture dolly and half a dozen blankets. When I went to pick up the van, I was told that this location doesn't have a furniture dolly and they only had two blankets. The person working there was very nice and this review is not about him at all. This location is terrible because on moving day, they shoot you unpleasant surprises that mess up your planning.
HALEH HCustomer service was cold and disrespectful. I felt like I was discriminated against as a queer person, complete with getting looked up and down. They didn't try to upsell me or rip me off though.
ANSEL SI was a total mess and the person helping me was very kind and understanding, making a stressful process easy. Thank you so much for your help!

BENJAMIN FOn one hand there were no furniture pads available that I selected to have prior to appointment. Ideally online inventory of supplies should accurately reflect what's available. On the other hand, the attendant checking my vehicle back in was very helpful in suggesting an easy gas station to refill to avoid fuel penalty.
MATTHEW JHe over charged me for cleaning fee and charged me another full day for being 45 minutes late.
MOREED SI went to return the vehicle at 3:10pm, 50 minutes before they were supposed to close, and they had already closed. Made it a point the return the vehicle early because I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the vehicle on the street in a neighborhood like that.
SPENCER GIt took a long time to get the truck and it was not the truck we reserved, resulting in a much higher cost than we had reserved.

The application, however, for returning the vehicle was slow, quirky and eventually just crashed with little to no indication that any of the inputted information was received. Appears that all went through since a receipt was e-mailed.
