Manesh took a personal call as he was hitching up the trailer and he left before checking that the lights on the trailer were working. I had to wait and call to him. He told me the trailer had to be returned by 8 am as someone was picking it up at 8:30. I was there at 8 but he did not show up until 9.KARLAG S.

Half of the side-marker lights (one on each side) were not functioning on the trailer. Furthermore, the person who came to assist me in signing in was on the phone, and wasn't processing my check-in. When I offered to check in using my phone, he asked if I was in a hurry. Also, the trailer had tape on the wall and a few parts of the floor, which I noticed later while loading it (I cleaned that up after I unloaded it, before returning it). It also had a very large metal washer in the corner, which I removed from the trailer to avoid getting someone's load from getting damaged if it moved around within the trailer. So over-all, it would have been ideal to have had the attendant's attention while he was checking me in, and also if the trailer was in a cleaner state with all of its lights in working order.ALEXANDRED K.

Actually have people that do work not just sit around on their cell phones. Clean off trucks when it has snow on it not just leave it for days till someone rents the trucks. If you know people are renting your vehicle maybe have the trucks ready to go that's called good customer service. Clean the inside of trucks properly not leave garbage on the floor and coffee spills all over the place. Practice proper Covid 19 protocol wear masks. You have people fill out forms online to make the service faster and to lessen time inside uhaul buildings but yet I still spent just as much time in the building getting everything all set up . This was the worst experience iv had with your company and I will not be back nor will I recommend your company to friends or family.Michael C.

Everything was fine, but the staff threaten me to report me because of his lack of professionalism for not checking the truck before delivering it to me. There was a painting left in the truck, thinking the previous customer did not want it we took it. After returning the truck, the next day, the staff called me and said the painting was his, and he left it in the truck for I don't know what reason. I told him I will make arrangement so that he can come pick it up. The next day I found myself not being able to make arrangement for him to pick it up and he threaten to report me. He told me the painting was not his but for the previous client and he wants it back. 1. He did not do his job properlly 2. He lies to clients 3. He threaten clients to report them Overall, not a pleasant transaction, will not recommend anyone to go there againJean V.
Beyond poor management and service at this location. I rent frequently from Uhaul, but from another location. Having to use this one on short notice, it was met with no willingness for the 'manager' to take a reservation on the phone - he just wanted it done on the app. When arriving he took a credit card to reserve, but noted he could not take payment that afternoon (when the truck was returned) by debit card as his POS 'didn't work' for debit (but did for Visa). Check in took 25 min. Check out took over 30 min - as he couldn't print a copy. He has a business, but can't take debit or print an invoice. When an item was left in the truck he was not at the location at the stated opening hour the next day. He then required 2 phone calls to ask for him to check for the item. When he said he had it and I left work to go pick it up - he wasn't at the office and no one was. It was closed in the middle of the day. When I waited 40 minutes for him to show up, the item he claimed he found was not the one requested - in two previous phone calls. The young manager is either not bright enough, or cares enough to execute on basic business activities (like being at the office during posted business hours) and is really just too 'clueless' for people to use this location. Call somewhere else - there are a lot of Uhaul neighbourhood dealers - and save yourself time and frustration.STEPHENF J.

When I arrived, the person running the location was late. Then the truck I had pre-booked was not there and was offered a smaller truck. Since I was moving I had no choice but to take it. I was offered a better rate on mileage since I didn't get the right truck. I was offered .49 cents a km. When I returned the truck, he gentlemen was again late. I would've just dropped off he truck, but wanted to verify that what was discussed for mileage was applied. He told me that it would be and I would receive the final email. When I reviewed the email, the mileage rate was not what was discussed, but .55 cents/km. I'm just very disappointed with the all-around experience,CRYSTALG K.

I asked for the smallest vehicle that could transport approximately 4800 lbs of 5x8 metal fencing. The attendant recommended a vehicle that turns out could only handle max 3000 lbs. The result was double the mileage, fuel and more importantly my time. When I asked for some type of compensation I was told to contact customer service. Attendants should understand vehicle specs. They should have the autonomy to resolve customer service issues, and they should be at the location upon customer arrival at 9:00 am to answer questions like... Are you sure this vehicle can transport 4800 lbs? I sincerely hope this feedback helps provide a better customer experience moving forward Paul StevensonPAUL S.

I was told that, by returning the truck to a certain location, I'd save extra charges, and yet, in the end, uhaul charged me for extra mileage. Doesn't make sense really. How did I save, when my time was expended and gas? They need to reconsider aspects of the return that don't unduly burden the customer. By the way, I'd sure love to have the almost $60 CDN returned to me for mileage that was excessive for a return...jim L.
