rick duffyThe pick up was great the customer service was impeccable and the staff was very helpful. On the other hand mobile customer was extremely disappointing. I was called 24hrs prior to getting my uhual and was informed there was no uhauls in my area and had to go to 100km each way to pick up my truck. I was offered a $150 discount which I felt was still not adequate as the cost of gas to get to this location and back was far more than $150. The man I spoke to was not helpful and refused to transfer me to another customer service representative. Upon picking up the uhual it was brought to my attention that there was no discount given as the cost of renting a uhual was just $150 cheaper in this location. Upon learning this information I called back the customer service line and spoke to the same man. He said “the way we look at this is you got it for $150 cheaper and I personally wouldn’t give you a better price”. This seemed deceiving as we were told this was a discounted price when it reality it was the normal if I had chose to rent from this location in the first place. I have nothing negative to say about our pick up location and the staff there the only negative experience I have is with the customer service support line and their lack of support and understanding.

Dianna WintersThe associate at dispatching location: 42074 gave us excellent service. He provided us with extra days and a discount because we had to travel 16 hours to pick the trailer up. The sales team in St. John’s, NL and Halifax, NS were less than helpful and were unable to provide answers to most of our questions. They also had poor customer service. The U-HAUL dealership in Stephenville, NL should be applauded for their outstanding customer service. Would use this location again.

John TouroutVery bad tires , excessive shaking at certain speed. Very bad tire on passenger front, caused excessive vibration, very stressful drive. Engine light came on during trip, stopped get it serviced, came on again an hour before destination. It was a rough ride with unfit tire, creating lots of stress.

Paul ChinnThe manager was very rude an wouldn’t talk after hrs. He said to come back in the morning. Went back rented the trailer the next day for 3 days. I had pickup trouble an had my friend drop the trailer back to Stephenville for me. He ended up being a couple hrs late because of my break down. Again the manager was very disrespectful argued with him. I will never rent again at this location. Nothing to do with u haul Just the representative. Thank you
Christopher RandellI was suppose to pick the unit up in Corner Brook. I can to travel from Deer Lake to Stephenville to get a unit at uhauls request. This trip ended up taking valuable time away from my very short trip. The drive took us almost 2 house to get to the uhaul location. The online pick up didn't work properly. I called the local number for the uhaul service and got a rude man that wouldn't help me. Told me it wasn't his problem. He was off work and couldn't help me. Called uhaul only to be put on a long hold waiting for someone to answer. While waiting we went to grab food. When someone answered they reset my online booking and told me I had to be at the location to finish the check in. We went back. Checked in following the steps. This was a slow process. Gets a code BUCK. Which was not the right code seeing the code should of been from 0-9. Calls uhaul again and is put on hold waiting for someone to answer. They say the code is BUCK. Explain to them it can't be. After some time on the phone they finally call the location owner. He tells them the code is 2244. So all this time wasted driving out and dealing with this situation was totally uncalled for and a waste of my time. I'm very disappointed in the service. The amount I was offered for that hassle was not enough seeing the cost of gas and the poor service I got.

Paul WhynotWhy does your workers who check out the trucks have zero ability to help a customer? The truck information was set up wrong and the worker didn’t have the power to fix the wrong information. He had to call the same uhaul numbers customers use and wait on the phone 30 minutes for someone to help him before I could take the truck. Why a long wait? 1 person working on the phone for all of Atlantic Canada. Unreal. It should not take 45 minutes to get a truck checked out. I got people giving up their free time to help me move and they’re waiting around on me because the truck is delayed getting out. The return process was not clear. I called the worker to ask what the return procedure was for an after hours drop. He just told me to park truck where I found it, take pictures of mileage and gas level and return keys in lock box. I drive home and on my phone I notice a text message from Uhaul whose first sentence visible was: thank you for choosing uhaul. Your order number is…” upon opening this text I notice truck return information for after hours return!!! The damn thing wants to check my gps for my location and if I wasn’t in the right spot I was going to be charged $20 So I have to drive 25 minutes back uptown to be in the correct spot to click a damn link. Then it starts asking me for photos to prove truck was clean. I’m locked out of the truck now! Keys were returned in the box hours ago. It asks me for a picture of the mileage and gas level. I was okay with that because I took a picture earlier or it but the damn app won’t let me upload that photo from my camera roll. I had to take a pic right then and there. I’m still locked out of the truck. Very disorganized and unprofessional service.
Symone HuntPerhaps there should be an additional or readily available equipment for a 10ft or a van in the areas of stephenville, corner brook, and pasadena for a low volume loads/baggages customers. For an easy pick up so that no need to travel far just to get the equipment.
