The workers were helpful but disorganized. I told them I had a van reserved and they said they didn’t have it on file. When I showed them proof they gave me a truck instead of a van. However, one of the ladies was very helpful and assisted us to the truck and showed us how to use it.
Lara UTerrific service at this location! I was impressed at how easy and efficient everything was for this rental. The van was ready and clean for pickup, dropoff was simple and quick. I will come here again, for same vehicle or a truck, because of all of the above. Thanks!

Robert BThe app didnt allow me to upload photos, which was very stressful! Leave yourself lots of time to figure it out and make sure the app works properly. The staff at the store were great, but there's only so much you can do when the app crashes.
Laura WI was suppose to get the vehicle by 4:00 p.m. after being told that the car will be here in 10-20 minutes for many time I finally received the truck at 5:05 p.m. which cost me one hour labor for four people ($100) at my location plus $200 fin being late at the new building that I moved to. Very poor service. No response after numerous calls… wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone again,..

Mark TI was charged for two uhauls at the same time. How could I even operate two uhauls at the same time? I was only given one key, and returned the U-Haul in under 2 hours. The other U-Haul was supposedly used for 6 hours, but I never received the key or even used it. Not to mention, they charged for an “estimated” 21 kilometres of gas…even though it wasn’t driven?
JOEY JWe had a sudden death of a loved one and needed a truck immediately on a Saturday with only 4 hours to get everything out of her place. We were not only dealing with incredible sadness but last minute logistics to navigate. The owner of this location was not only courteous, but incredibly kind and helpful. He made a tough time easier with his compassion and assistance. I would absolutely use him again and recommend this location highly!

Sunghoon SThe store running the location didn't give me any useful information on what was going on with renting the vehicle, the U-Haul phone support couldn't figure out why the vehicle wasn't in the system and it took me 40 minutes of standing in the freezing snow to get into the vehicle I had booked. MISERABLE EXPERIENCE. Delayed the entire project and left the whole team frustrated with U-Haul.
ADRIAN EFirst of all the fuel was at 1/4 , and I filled it up to 1/2 and this wasn't considered in my receipt(I paid 30$ for the gas for only going for around 22 km in total).

Patrick LThe truck we used for my most recent booking was extremely unsafe. The oil was very low and the car's brakes were not very strong. The truck kept on making very weird sounds and this truck should really be examined again before anyone can book it. However, the location and service was good and would recommend it.
Dhriti DNot a reflection of the location, but more my experience. I ordered it from near W Broadway, then got told I had to pick it up in UBC. This basically added 18km onto my cost which ended up being over half the final cost. Not sure why I had to pay that difference when I ordered it from a location that was originally right next to us.

He HSubject: Clarification on Recent U-Haul Experience (Order #98221721) Hi there, I hope you’re well. I wanted to reach out regarding an issue I had with a recent U-Haul rental (Order #98221721). It seems there might have been an error with the charges. I picked up a U-Haul on 9/13/2024 from Dollar n Plus in Vancouver, BC, to move about 0.8 miles between two dorms on the UBC campus. However, I was charged around $45 for gas, even though I only drove about three miles in total. The tank was empty when I picked it up, and I returned it the same way. The person who assisted me, Ali (phone number: 604-764-8475), didn't allow me to do the check-in process myself and only handled the check-out at the time of my return. This might have caused a discrepancy in the numbers recorded. Could you please look into this for me? I have photos of the odometer readings before and after the rental if that would help. Yasin ZAli was super helpful and efficient. Him and your Vancouver office call center staff saved my day as I had originally rented a truck from another location which when I showed up at my rental time was closed. The neighbour mentioned that this is often the case, being closed despite showing as open online.
Braeden WForced to take a bigger truck and the parking lot was partially blocked by another UHaul truck, making parking very difficult.
Chun KI was unfairly charged $12 for fuel despite returning it with the same amount. I have photo evidence of this and have opened a complaint about it.

Rod JAvoid booking confusions and not requested cancellations. Please Have the vehicule parked at the pick up location and not 3km from the pickup location. Most unpractical setting for picking up the keys then having to pick up the truck 3km from there then do the same for the return. I won’t probably be using u hall anymore. Very disappointed.
Nicolas CWatch Out for Unauthorized Charges! I was shocked to see an additional $16 fuel charge on my receipt. I feel completely cheated by this company. The vehicle, also constantly displayed a warning for engine oil replacement.
Narciso JTruck was stinky and dirty in poor condition. Break was not working well. And you are tricking ppl only 29,99 with big sign and small sign plus 1$ per kms. Why is that? You are concerned about mileage of that old shitty truck???and ends up with almost $200. We don’t like that marketing style that tricks ppls. Do not think ppl are stupid. H-haul needs to have a strong competitor to behave better. I felt in a way you are stealing money with poor service. Return at least $100 back maybe I feel better with U-haul. Thank you

Hamid OThe van was given to us in a poor condition, with the previous client/caretaker not having specified about one of the side doors being loose. When closed, the door was just fine. Once we opened it and started using it, it seemed as if the door was going to fall off, making us think it was our fault or that we had done something. We contacted customer service and spent about 4 hours between calls and waiting for someone to assist us. Our 4 hour trip turned into a 9-hour one with terrible customer service. Would not recommend to any friend.
