I wish I can return the excess boxes to this location. I also have the used boxes that I'd like to give away which I think I can but I'd have to drive to the SE Marine Dr location to drop them off. I hope that this location can be used for those too.

We really appreciate receiving the 24 hour rental rate and reduced kilometre charge for the cargo van, given the distance we needed to drive to and from the Fraser Valley in order to complete our move. Very good service. Won't hesitate to recommend and use Uhaul again. Let customers know about your longer distance rates! I had to search for them and discovered them by accident.

I was guaranteed a rental at 8 pm. The store I was picking it up from was supposed to be open until 9pm. When I arrived they had closed early. I was on hold with the main number for 15 minutes outside in the cold when a man texted me from a local number saying that the person who had it last was running late and would be there in 25 minutes. When the person arrived it was just after 10 pm. Terrible. The man I was speaking with kept saying that sometimes this happens but I suppose there's no reason to even try to return a vehicle on time if you can just say I was running late. Craziest thing I ever heard. No guarantee

I had called the day before to confirm my reservation and the equipment I had ordered. on Saturday morning none of the equipment I ordered (dollys, furniture pads, etc) was in the truck. The owner of the dollar store where I got the truck had no clue what I was talking about when I asked about the equipment I had ordered. He ended up giving me his store's dolly, which is inappropriate as then he was without his own equipment for the day. Overall not a great experience.

When I received the vehicle the right front tire was at half pressure. The right rear upper running light was broken and dangling from the vehicle. Approximately 40 kilometers into the drive the "check engine" light came on and stayed on. Thankfully the vehicle did not break down. The fuel gauge indicated 1/8 tank. I had an air compressor and so was able to pump up the low tire. Just glad to have made it back, would not use this service again. In my experience with other U-Haul rentals the vehicles were clean and maintained. Really poor!

The only good part of this experience was the gentleman at the pick up location. Everything with uhaul was terrible. I did not receive the pick up location I requested or the truck I requested. When I called for assistance there was a general lack of caring. The entire experience felt like a scam - a bait and switch. I reserved something at one location and then was provided something entirely different at a another location. Next time I will look elsewhere. I will also not ever recommend Uhaul to anyone and if they ask will let them know my experience. Not to be rude, but this entire business model is complete and utter BS. I have rented from uHaul in the past and my experience was good. This experience was terrible.

This place significantly overcharged us!!! No service at all. You have to walk 5 min to find the van, and walk multiple times to figure out which key goes with which van.

I think I am scammed by the representative or the owner of Dollar n Plus. When I took the van I found out the gas was literally almost out. So I messaged him to ask if I could help him refill the gas then get refunded. He said he would refund me in cash. When I returned the key, he showed me the bill and told me the bill did not include the gas fee (KM rate). But the truth is that the bill, which is 58.99$, included gas fee. He deducted the KM rate from my refund of the gas refilling that I did for him, which made me paid the KM rate twice. I was not checking the bill carefully but for him as someone who does this every day, he must know that the bill does include KM rate, but he still lied to me. And since I took the refund of gas from him with cash, there is no way to trace it back. I just want to let you know that please don't trust someone like him to run the U-Haul service or he will just ruin your reputation.

Firstly, the U-Haul was not parked at the location I was told it was and had to take a bus to the location causing me a 10 min delay. Secondly, the U-Haul agent had not filled the tank till the minimum 1/4 they are supposed to and made me fill the tank out of my own pocket to compensate for the low fuel tank. Lastly, no instructions were given regarding the returning of the key and were charged a fine that I am still trying to contest as it wasn't our fault. We had left the keys inside and the U-Haul agent was very rude and expected us to come to their "closed" shop to deliver the keys expecting us to guess that a "closed" shop with its lights off would be open. I am very unhappy with the customer service of U-Haul. The UBC Village U-Haul Agent should be re-evaluated for being an agent for U-Haul.

I was told to return the van with the same amount of gas as I had gotten it with. It was below half a tank when I got and I returned it with half a tank. Now they indicated it was 3/8 which is untrue unless some used it after me. I have a credit card payment for gas purchase at shell station I put in 15$ for 34km of usage. Doesn't seem fair to be charged again. I will not be recommending you to anyone. Ever.

I will never rent from uhaul again. I brought the pick up truck back a day early. Of course knowing full well I was going to pay for the full three days. Shortly after leaving I receive this text “had a customer and was supposed to take the car. Since you didn't show up I had to return him and give him $50.00 reimbursement fee”. This text made no sense since the truck was due the next morning. I called immediately and told the owner that the truck was early so I did not know what he was talking about. He kept asking me what time I picked it up as that was when I needed to drop the tuck off. Again I repeat it was a full day early and as such his question made no sense nor his text. Eventually he he said oh ok. Next I receive an invoice with in correct and over charged mileage. I was being charged for 80.5 more mileage than actually driven. I sent an email with photos of mileage at the pick up and drop off. I received an email reasonably quick stating they would follow up with this owner. Photos do not lie. They are time and dated. I am being charged on my visa - almost a full day with interest owed. I called the owner and he informed me that he would get back to me tomorrow. This is ridiculous and terrible customer service. I should have my invoice adjusted to the correct mileage with an apology - same day! T

The representative was not helpful. The dollies I had reserved were not provided which made moving a lot harder. Moreover, I had my reservation for 9 AM and the representative did not arrive until 9:40 AM and therefore I couldn't get the keys on time. I had a very tight schedule on the day and this delay caused a lot of problems. I was very unhappy with the service and hope appropriate actions are taken to ensure this does not happen again. On a positive note, the truck was in great condition, easy to drive and the renting/returning process was very straight-forward!

We ordered a dolly. We confirmed a dolly. There was no dolly. We had a four-hour reservation. They would not let us take the vehicle out until we agreed to return it in two hours, because "someone else" needed it. Since the reservation system won't allow double-booking, I can only assume this was an off the books rental. Our invoice was wrong. Neither the mileage start nor mileage finish numbers are correct. We have timestamped images verifying this. The difference is....not minor. I will never, ever use this location again. I'm not even sure I'm willing to use any Uhual location at this point, because this isn't just bad service, an invoice with fake numbers and not living up to a rental contract is flat out deceit.

The vehicle needs to be sanitized. The dash lights need to be repaired (ABS is not an optional part of driving loaded vehicles). The location needs to keep their vans onsite and prepare them for rental appropriatley. Not recommended at all.
