I rented a van and was planning on dropping it off at a different location for a one way trip. I was not informed that the van was privately owned by that company until I picked it up. It had to be returned to exact location the next day. If that was the case I would have just rented a box truck. Spent more money alone just on the drive back

Allow after hours drop-off. The U-Haul app indicates that you can do it, but when you arrive there are big signs saying you can't. That makes this site inconvenient.

Cant improve honesty. The person who checked my lights on the trailer o rented was not truthful. The Leigh's blinker and running lights did not work. I had to delay my trip by one day to get another uhaul locatikn to fix the lights on the trailer.

It wasn't clear when booking online that we couldn't return the truck that same day. With bad weather the next morning we had to really go out of our way to get it back and uhaul was incredibly unhelpful in this situation. I was disappointed with our experience.

Was forced to keep the truck overnight because they close the gate after hours. Wasn't informed of this when I booked online. The online check-in/return process is a huge pain. You have to take a ton of pictures and then stand around in the cold waiting for someone to "verify" everything, which took around 10 minutes.

The gentleman who helped me was wonderful and provided great customer service which is why I used above average for my rating. The truck cabin smelled fine but the interior could use a good cleaning as an the back of the truck. Overall this process was very easy to get the truck and drop it off and I would recommend this location to friends.

I rented the vehicle ahead of time and went to pick it up at dominion auto body and was told that the equipment I reserved was not on the reservation so I had to rent it again. I later got a call from U-Haul saying my U-Haul reservation was cancelled because I did not pick up the truck. That was obviously not the case because I was using the U-Haul. There was some clear miscommunication on the part of dominion auto body.

There was no parking available. The Uhaul Rep. asked me to park the car far away and walk back. This should be listed during booking. Also, the rep. asked us to fold all the furniture pads and bring it to him as i left it earlier in the truck. Not a good customer experience.

My only complaint is that I was under a tight time line with picking up truck and meeting movers. Pick up was scheduled for 8am and truck was not there. Because of this my movers were late starting resulting in an extra charge for them.

I was offered a Saturday pickup time then called weeks later to be told that they were closed on saturdays. Do not offer pickup times when you are not open.

I was charged an extra day and I am not able to rwach some one to help me with a refund.

1) Very grumpy manager at the location during pickup. I thought this was an anomaly. 2) Cabin dirty with hair, etc. I had to spend time cleaning it. 3) Manager had categorically told me that he will be open till midnight and I can return the truck till then. 4) We took the truck back the same day at 9 PM with full fuel (I have the pictures) and the place was locked. No option to after hours drop off. 5) I called the customer support and spoke to an agent. She asked me to take the truck back the next day (before 6 PM) 6) I had to take the truck back home and come back next day. 7) Same manager said he will charge me for an extra day and the extra miles 8) was upset that someone agreed to waive off the second day charge. Said he will charge me for the miles despite me telling him that he cant do it. 9) Bottom line... Very disappointing experience.

I was very frustrated by U-HAUL's policy of doing everything online, but a call to this location, and he calmed me down and made both my pick-up and late return easy. Moving is a very stressful activity, but at this U-HAUL location he really relieved the stress.

Vehicle was smelly and the steering wheel was kinda sticky. I had to wipe it and the handle twice. Agent forgot to place the dolly in the truck and I had to drive back to the store to get it.

I made a reservation to pick up the truck at 1PM. If I had known that they would be locking a gate at noon I would have selected another nearby location since there are many. The online reservation site allowed me to make the reservation for 1PM so I was surprised to receive a call at 1145 asking me where I was. Apparently they were now closing at noon. Anyway, I'm not sure if it's Dominion Auto Body who made the change or if the online system needs to by updated but the rep. at Dominion Auto wasn't too friendly about the whole thing even after I told him that I made a reservation for 1PM.

Made a reservation 3-4 weeks in advance to pick up trailer at a location a couple miles from my house. Called the location the day before to confirm my reservation and was told it wasn't going to be available. Needed this trailer to go on vacation the next day so had to scramble to have another trailer found. Had to them drive 20-30 miles one way to pick up trailer. Why do we make reservations if the equipment isn't going to be there? This out added stress on my wife and I before leaving for vacation.

Pickup was easier than my previous experiences with U-Haul. The on-line reservation and check-in processes took a lot longer than they should have. Consider redesigning the process for finding the nearest location with availability of the requested equipment.

I honestly had a terrible service specially from person that I picked up the U-Haul from he had an awful attitude but I kept going on with my life and try not to pay him attention.

Man who worked here was very rude. Changed my booking without saying anything and then told me I had to deal with it. I selected to drop it off same day(after hours) because umm couldn't drop it off the following day. He said it wasn't his problem.

U-Haul Rental Process: (1) At the time of pick up I was asked to take my picture and that of my driver's license. This delayed the process. I could have done this days earlier. (2) I did not have the second driver with me and could not take his picture. All the information that I added to the website was deleted and I was not able to add it from the app or my PC. I had to be on the phone for a LONG time to add him and had hard time doing so. They initially wanted me to do it in person, which was not possible due to COVID-19. (3) IMPORTANT: The reservation and rental confirmation does not state a drop off time (only a preferred pick up time). However, after everything is confirmed the app confirmation included a drop off time. The website and confirmation need to be updated to CLEARLY indicate the expected drop off time. Dominion Location: (1) Need U-Haul street signage--it was confusing to find it. (2) Parking for pick up needs to be marked, I did not know where to park/stop and was scared of being towed.

I was disappointed that they gave us a bigger truck than we had ordered. They gave it to us for the same price, but we were not comfortable driving such a large truck. If we had to have that one, they should have at least called us in advance to let us know or ask if it was okay.

Was sent to this location the day Before my move. I was scheduled to pick up in Woodbridge. This caused a bit of a logistical issue. Perhaps inventory could be better managed. Agents are always friendly and accommodating so that eases the frustration a bit.
