Domontra had a guy there who told me (in very broken English) that I had to take it to a different place up the road called Tire Guys. There was no one at Tire Guys so I completed the online check out and left the keys in the drop box. I was not comfortable leaving the truck in a different location than my contract but was nothing I could do. Both Domontra and Tire Guys left me feeling quite unsafe as they are not in a great part of town.

Quiniece TI reserved the U-Haul at one location and utilized the mobile app for this transaction. After waiting several minutes for the verification process I finally received the information to access the truck. After searching all around the lot for the assigned truck, I went to the office to inquire about the trucks location and was told I needed to call the owner. Called the owner and he guided me to some lock boxes that were on the opposite side of the fence where the trucks were located (very unsafe). The instructions on the app read “lock box b2” however, the locks are not labeled as such. While on the phone with the owner, my sister was explaining to him that the assigned truck could not be found, although he insisted that it was on the lot only for him to later remember that that truck was at another location (his laundromat) which was approximately 10 miles away. BUT the key was at the original pickup location. We retrieved the key from the lockbox and drove to the other location to pick up the assigned truck. Upon arrival, the truck rear was open and filled with water. At this point, we had spent approximately an hour trying to get this rental and really needed to get our move started, so we proceeded despite the situation. The truck‘s fuel was filled 3/4 and it was a fairly new truck. No complaints on the truck. The owner advised my sister through text to return the vehicle to the laundromat location and drop off the key at the original location lockbox upon return. I didn’t think much of it until I realized I was unable to check the vehicle back in “live” as required by U-Haul. I expressed my concern about this and how returning it to the location that is not on the contract could incur fees, as stated in the contact. Furthermore, I was not able to take the Live Photos that are required at drop off because you have to be at the drop off location that is on the contract. The owner said “he would handle it.” When I realized I had not checked out via the app, I had to turn around and go back to the laundromat location to take photos of the truck. I couldn’t open the cab because I had already took the key to the lock box at the original pickup location. Luckily, I had a second phone to text the photos I took so that I could take a Live Photo of each picture to satisfy the U-Haul’s mobile app return process. The entire transaction was inconvenient and unprofessional. This ordeal cost me more money in my personal fuel to travel to two different locations for one reservation and it also cost me time and mileage in my personal vehicle. Never, ever, ever again will I patronize this affiliate.

Insisted to send him my id and card info instead of waiting till i completedthe upload of my docs. Then once i bought it back the location store security said this is the wrong drop off. I explain the Uhaual Rep give me the lockbox. He mentioned it should have been a couple bring back uhaul. I told the security guard that couple was putting there key in box when i was at lockbow. I then called the Rep and told him i was done and sent him pixs of mileage and gas for backup for mileage and refueling. He said don't worry about ithat. He asked could i help him verify another uhual truck was there. I did it for him ask bout my receipt and him said he will send it. I get home and checked my email and no receipt. I call Rep again he says call 1800 go uhaul for it. I call them and finally get receipt and notice i have been over charged 3x. The 1 800 new Rep said District Rep will give me a call about disputes . I sent the new Rep pixs that show time once you check details and she says she can't see it on her side. I am totally disappointed in this experience and feel like i have been ripped off and now worried about future bank frad from the original rep having my personal info ID/card due to him insisting to just give it to him over the phone. I look forward to talking with the District Mgr. about this experience asap and want to file a complaint about the initial Rep that managed my booking.

WEBSTER WI paid for 2 dolly's that I never received. The man I talked to did not know the codes to the lockbox so it took quite a bit to get the Uhaul. Other than that the equipment was well taken care of and everything went fine.
Tenecia PI was not able to pick up the truck from my original location due to an inconvenience. I called Uhaul and this was the next location close to me. The truck is located on the side of the highway so one must be careful. The smell inside was horrible and the gas tank was on E. Also the back of the truck was open and wet due to tropical storm Helene.
Clancey WI’ve never had a negative experience with U-Haul until I rented from this location. The dealer was rude and unprofessional, implying that my gender made me incapable of following instructions, even though the information he provided was incorrect. He suggested I "have my husband do it" and threatened to cancel my reservation before hanging up on me. When I called back, he provided the correct information, and it worked. When I asked for an apology, he insisted I was using the wrong box and refused to acknowledge his mistake. Instead, he continued to suggest that I, as a woman, needed male assistance to enter a lock code. I do not recommend this location.

Granted I’ll take accountability for being 15 min late to return but that doesn’t justify $110 in additional charges. Let’s get into the pick up: I stood outside in the cold for over 2 hours because the owner of the lot where the uhauls are stored refused to open the gate for me. The police were called on me for “trespassing” the owner of the trucks eventually came and let me out the gate offering 0 resolution other than press charges. Idk what kinda shit show these folks are running

I returned the truck 23 miles till empty took pictures and I am still fighting a charge for an hr rental. The worst experience ever and I would never rent from these criminals again.

I asked him where would I find the number that was on the key on the truck… his response was “On the side, on the back, everywhere… it’s not rocket science” & proceeded to disconnect the all. I called back several times to ask about a dolly it went straight to voicemail. I called from another phone and he answered… responded to my question and immediately ended the call. The employee answers the phone as of its personal line instead of a business line. The customer service is absolutely horrible and will eventually ruin the business.

The strong odor became prevalent as we drove to our drop off location. It was worst during periods of heavy traffic. Also, there was a “flat tire” sound coming from the passenger side tire area. I didn’t want to put gas in the truck because I wasn’t feeling well and I wasn’t sure where the leak was coming from. That truck needs to be placed out of service.The location was clean and staff friendly, but the truck was extremely hazardous to our health

Donald RI called the Agent at this location and gave explicit detail as to Jonesboro Rd story drop off location. The Agent said to bring it to his location because they both work together. He never told me there would be a drop off fee. I went there and it's a laundromat. I knocked on the door to return the key and ask a question and the gentlemen inside spoke to me through an intercom. He didn't have enough courtesy to come out and give me the instructions since he was available on sight.
Lionel CI was charged an extra day for accidentally locking the key in the truck, the truck had tire issues the side mirror wasnt functioning properly( moved while driving ) passenger door trim was faulty, it wouldnt allow the door to shut properly.

Shaherah SWhere do I start? 1) I booked through U-Haul’s website which a complete waste of time because they did not honor any of my requests, 2) U-Haul changed my pick up location which added miles to my trip (further from my house) that I ended having to pay extra for, 3) they changed my drop off time in the system from 4:30 to 12:30 and told me I had to call the 1-800 number to make any changes. After three phone calls, and 20 minutes later, I was able to successfully change my drop off time to the originally requested time, 4) they changed my equipment from a 20 ft truck to a 26 ft truck without my permission (larger truck was more difficult to navigate in my new small neighborhood AND cost me more in gas mileage), 5) they did not provide me the blankets I ordered but was still charged for them, 6) they did not have anyone physically present when I picked up U-Haul, 7) the inside of the cab was very dirty, 8) When I called to ask two questions from the cab of the U-Haul, the employee argued with me about the amount of gas in the truck then hung up on me before I could even ask my second question. When I called back, they did not answer the phone. Worst truck rental experience in my life.

Dawud ACargo box of the truck has a big gash in the corner that you could see through into the back of the truck. Cab of the truck had ants in it. I complained to the owner he said nothing he could do about it and it happens all the time. I had to drive a 20' truck for the first time while brushing off ants to the nearest WalMart to get Raid! Larry GI did not find it to be a pleasant experience. I booked a small truck on the U-Haul website in the morning. In the afternoon I drove to the location to pick it up. The address was not clearly marked as being a U-Haul dealer on a build. I approached the Laundry Mat facility to ask where the U-Haul dealer is located, the gentleman kindly replied, "here". After asking me for my name, he went into his pocket to retrieve his mobile phone. Then he started scrolling on his phone, he said, "Mr. White, I see you are renting a small truck, would you mind showing me your driver's license?". I gave him my driver's license. Then he scanned the back of my driver's license and asked if another driver could be added to the form. Again, this was "his" phone on which we conducted these transactions. The U-Haul representative past me "his mobile phone". I entered my wife’s name and phone number. This is where things get weird. The U-Haul representative asked for a third name to be added to the form. I asked, "Why are you asking for another name when I have just provided you with the name of my wife as an additional driver?" The U-Haul representative said, “this is just how it is in the hood. I did not create these questions, U-Haul wants to add another person, because if they are unable to locate you or your wife, they have another contact on record that they can contact. I was completely discussed, with this line of conversation and the micro-abuse to a community and business. I said to the U-Haul representative that I gave you a major credit card, my drivers license, my address and my wife’s name and phone number - that should be enough. The U-Haul representative asked, do you still want to rent this truck? I said yes. Unfortunately, the U-Haul representative believes that due to the location of his business, the company forces these types of questions on the form. In my conversation with the U-Haul representative, he believes that if I was renting from another community, I would not have this type of conversation with a U-Haul customer, nor would the application ask for a third name to be included on a form so that U-Haul could contact them if I or my wife are not available. Please fix this it, today. In addition, we did not inspect the truck or walk around it. There was no fuel in the truck, so I had to purchase $20 worth of fuel from a gas station 100 yards away from the U-Haul location before I could begin my journey. I was extremely disappointed in this experience.

Had to go 30 miles out of my way in order to get one from another uhaul place. Once starting the truck it sounded horrible like the transmission was going to fall. Got the worst gas mileage I’ve ever had when renting from uhaul. The trucks need to be serviced badly

Second location paid, place clean, worker great. No free moth. It was a stressful moving day.☹️

Furthermore, I had ordered a furniture dolly, a utility dolly, and 12 furniture pads. Upon arrival, the owner of the establishment verified my ID via a link and said he'd meet me in 5 minutes at the entrance. He took 20 minutes to arrive, went inside, and then exited 10 minutes later with a furniture dolly and a utility dolly. I inquired about the furniture pads and he said he didn't have any but I could drive to either of 2 other locations nearby to see if they had any. At that point due to his tardiness, and my movers already enroute to load the truck, I didn't have the time nor patience to deal with the owners negligence in providing proper customer service. I've NEVER had an issue with Uhaul, but also have not had to deal with a 3rd party provider and nor will I ever again. It's apparent Domontra is merely in it for the money and takes no responsibility in providing proper customer service or maintaining Uhaul's equipment.
