Its almost impossible to tell where to go to and who is a worker and who is just there. Once you do though they are really helpful by pointing you in the direction of the key drop box. Overall horrible experience. With what I paid I could have got a really big Penske truck and did everything in one trip instead of 4 and saved time, money, and frustration..

Very friendly and helpful. I was surprised there was NOT a person physically present at this location, and talked to the representative on the phone for check in. Otherwise, it was pretty easy.

Last minute reservations but I still got my Truck. I believe the man's name was Wayne he was polite and extremely helpful. Everything went very smoothly.

I scheduled/reserved a 10 foot truck to be picked up at 8:30am 8/8/2020. U-Haul moves my reservation to doozy truck covers. No one looked at the time I needed it, this location didn't open until 10am. Then the size truck I requested wasn't returned so I was put in a 20 foot (thank you). The whole process put us extremely behind and stressed. No a good start. Then driving this truck 4-1/2 hours the steering was awful. Are the trucks not checked out. Serviced between customers. Location was awful. I felt this was very sketchy dealing with someone working out of a van, giving my card numbers, very sketchy situation. Truck was clean but lacking of service.

This location looked like an ad hoc setup. No printed contract was provided. The guy managing the location was great but the setup was definitely substandard. Reservation system have me the ok for truck and car trailer but his inventory was simply not existent. Credit card processing took a very long time. Because of how it was done, I was never sure I had insurance. To get the trailer, I had to go to another location. I lost about 3 hours of time chasing down everything and waiting on credit card processing. If this is the best that can be provided, I really don't think I want to rent from you again. The next time I need to rent a truck, I don't that I'll rent from you all again.

This place was hard to find. What used to be Doozy Truck is not a thrift store and there is no signage saying that it is a uhaul drop off.

The guy at this location was friendly and knew what he was doing but i feel like I was charged to much the Uhaul truck was 19.95 and I was going exactly 38.2 miles and i was charged 74 dollars in total i would like to speak to soemone about if i could please

I needed a uhaul that would pull a trailer with a 1 7/8 hitch and ball. You only had a 2 inch ball. I drove to Tennessee to pick up a trailer and a 4 wheeler, I was only able to pick up the 4 wheeler. I couldn't take the trailer, now i'll have to go back with a different truck that has the right size. I called customer service to get a different ball and they wasn't familiar with the setup on the uhaul truck.

No Sunday staffing. Gate was closed and had to park in an adjacent drive to avoid blocking the main entrance. Utilized website to complete drop off and placed key and contract in drop box.

Man told us we had to bring truck back to him in Johnson City. Then when we got back at 3:30 place was lock up. I left my car there and couldn't get it. Then he wanted to charge me extra and it was his fault he wasn't there

Well the entire experience was troublesome, the doozy location was good,,, my problem was with uhaul,, I reserved a15' truck, knowing I could only fill about half. Reserved 4 weeks in advance. The prior to picking up the truck is when everything went array,,first uhaul called and told me my truck and dolly would be in Knoxville 110 miles from where I needed it,, and I didn't reserve a dolly either, when I told (Joy) I had to pickup in johnson city,, she first had me a 26' and dolly in elizabethton, a 26' on north roan JC no dolly and then a 20' truck at doozy. No 15' as reserved. Kept trying to force the 26' on me,,, Went to doozy to get it straightened out he had a 15' but wouldn't let me have it, only had 26' , and he let cat of bag,, and said Nashville needed the bigger trucks,,, it you'll would have paid for fuel, then I'd took it,,, he found a 20' truck I filled it about 40%, very loosely packed.,,,,I spent $105 in fuel for the bigger truck, drove approx. 330 miles.

Doozys is extremely dirty and run down. Had we seen it ahead of time we wouldn't have done business there. Moreover, half way to our destination one of the tires on our vehicle that was secured to the autotransport cane undone. The staff there wasn't very competent.

He lost a key to the size truck we wanted. Then tried to get us to take a smaller truck. He finally agreed to let us have the bigger truck but told us we had to bring it back that evening so someone else could have it. We had planned to bring it back anyway. I understand things happen and it all worked out. I don't know how you can improve this.

Pick-up location: waited 45 minutes due to their non-uhaul business. Scheduled to drop off by 4:45. Went at 2:30 to drop off; closed. People in business, doors open, but wouldn't answer phone. Gate was locked.

The. majority of the rented pads were delivered unfolded and many were dirty with signs of previous use. The truck had bugs splattered all over the windshield. The amount of gas in the. truck was stated to be approximately 3/8 tank but paperwork showed more and I was required to put in additional gas at check-in to avoid being charged extra for gas. Also at check-in I was told that I must fold the pads ( which were delivered to me unfolded) or I would face a charge of 50 to 100 dollars ( depending on the number of pads) for Uhaul to fold them. I have used Uhaul many times and always liked their service, but on this occasion I feel that I was taken advantage of and ripped off. Such a shame for a good company.

The older gentleman was very courteous and made the check in procedure painless. We showed him the damage and he asked if we had purchased the insurance. We said that we had. He said that he was glad and that he always recommends that his customers purchase the insurance.

Don't send me to a location that is a half baked business. HAD TO CALL TO DROP OFF AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION, BECAUSE THE ONE WAS TO OPEN AT 9 AM WAITED HALF AN HOUR NOBODY SHOWED UP!!!!!!

Owner was VERY rude and did not want to help me. Cussed a lot about how he didn't "have time for customers like me". Meaning a UHaul customer. Worst experience I have ever experienced, period! He messed my order up (which I prepaid and preregistered online, so should've been easy) and told me I had to pay more. I told him NO! He stated "I ain't got time for this shit, here you deal with them (UHaul)". Then, he called the customer service number and slung the phone at me to talk to the lady (which did confirm I did everything correctly). Once he printed my paperwork, he slammed the paper down and said "sign it" angerly. I will never pick up there or deal with a location like this again! Very disappointed.
