You changed the pick up location on the day of pick up to a horribly dangerous neighborhood. Just the truck in the parking lot a boarded up strip mall. I reserved a truck at a nice location near me. Drove past that location and saw plenty of trucks day of pick up. This was Bait and Switch.Thor C.

This shop is besides a dumpster on a gravel road. It's across from the QT which made is convenient. The phone was never answered with the name of the business but always with "hello" each time I called. Like a personal cell phone. I turned the truck in the same day I got it (sat) and called to confirm where the key should be left. Dre said his shop would not be open until Tuesday due to the holiday. He told me where to leave the key and I did just so. I was surprised when U-Haul called me a week later to say the equipment was not returned! I immediately called Dre who said he had some problems because "the system" showed it should be returned at another location and not his. The change I was notified of through UHaul as a customer was only for the pickup location and never the drop off. He knew this was a mistake but said he just corrected it. But why a whole week later? Was he using or riding the truck around all week? This made me suspicious of him and uncomfortable. Needless to say, I won't be dropping off any equipment at this location again. I will stick with your larger or major stores.KAREN R.

My U-haul experience across the country was HELLISH !!! On SO MANY LEVELS !!! I would not and will not recommend this company for cross-country moving, I am writing a report of my personal experience to submit to the CEO of this organization, with the fervent hope, that no other woman, will have to go through, such a devastating journey !!!!!!ASEELAH D.
FIrst of all I reserved a trailer from the actual UHaul store a block down and got a message to pick it up at another location. This location is horrible. Its back behind another building. Their office was run down with bullets laying around, holes in the ceiling, and a ripped up bar stool to sit on. The rental agent did not even know how to work the computer. It took us 1 hour to rent our trailer that we had already reserved. Then the clerk somehow cancelled our reservation and started another. I had to help him with the screens on the uhaul website and I didnt even work there. Then he added insurance which we did not want. He had to call for help and we still ended up with insurance even after we said no. it was already taking toooo long to go through the process so I didnt even get him to try and change it, because he would not even know how. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!!!! would never recommend uhaul to anyone if they have to go to anywhere other than a uhaul store.JESSICA F.
