This was a terrible experience. I have used U-Haul a handful of times before with no complaints. This time, I first arrived at the location that I made the reservation for and the clerk told me they didn't have my vehicle there and I had to drive 10 minutes to a different location. When I arrived to the second location, the clerk was having a personal phone conversation and screaming the entire time he was "helping" me. When I arrived at the vehicle, it was filled with trash and bags of clothes that were not mine. There were no other vehicles for me to use. When I returned the vehicle, the same clerk was once again on personal phone calls and couldn't be bothered with me as a customer and didn't allow me the opportunity to share my experience. I will never use this location and frankly feel that I deserve a discount from the poor service quality.

Poor customer service and the vehicle was filthy. The agent at this location was very disrespectful, aggressive and irate. He even went as far as adding extra charges and days onto the bill that I did not authorize. This location is a poor representation of the company and I don’t even know how they still have a contract with uhaul.

The laughable part is there’s apparently a $25 cleaning fee attached to the rental. Clearly that money just gets pocketed without actually cleaning. I already put in a complaint that I won’t be paying that.

Brazillian MPlease refund at minimum $100, a full refund would be better. I attempted to rent a van for 3 hours. I wound up with a 10’ truck. The “representative” at the location was surly and short with me, despite running an empty store. Being charged for gas and mileage is already absurd, but to be charged for gas on a larger and less fuel efficient vehicle than I requested is preposterous. An additional charge was added to my bill for insurance that I did not select when I made my original reservation, but was added when I was forced to pivot to a 10’ truck at the pick up location. Please rectify or this will be my last u-haul experience.

Younes AI had a reservation for 10AM. The app said that I would have access to my vehicle even though the store was closed at that time. When I arrived I checked in to the app and it said there were no vehicles for me.in about 30 minutes I saw someone walk in and open the building. I followed and he tried to help me three times but was apparently unfamiliar with the rental system. He tried to call his boss a few times and there was no answer. After about another half hour a man walked in and he dropped the key on no lap. I was meant to fend for myself trying to find which truck was mine. Tries a few and found my truck. I needed it for about two hours, drove it about 5 miles dropped it off by some piping the key on his desk and walking away. Now I have a bill that is for two days. I want my money back and I think you should seriously reconsider who you do business with.
MARK KThey submitted an inaccurate bill that said that i kept the van for an extra day and left less gas in the tank than i started with rather than more. Also the drivers side mirrors were cracked and barely usable.

Erniece CI turned in rental at 12:40 PM. Clerk didn’t check in my rental vehicle, just saying”it’s okay boss”. I asked for a confirmation or any type of receipt showing the rental was turned in. I gave him the mileage and fuel level. He took my word, but again didn’t give any confirmation the vehicle was turned in. I took video of the truck. On the turn in location, the area is economically challenged or as my son says “sketchy”. No designated parking area for rentals, they are just parked wherever a space can be found on the street. But the van was not great - there was trash in the back, it smelled bad, and there was 3/8th of a tank of gas despite the location telling me it was half full. I also had some trouble starting it once. In all though, it was well worth those hurdles, the van worked perfectly for moving a couch.
Joshua WPickup was very easy when you do it through the app/website! Returning the truck after the location was closed was a bit confusing but you can put the key in the key drop right at the front of the store. Only complaint is that I received the truck with 1/8 of gas and had to immediately fuel up.

Younes AI reserved my uhaul days prior, upon me picking the cargo van up at my pickup time which was 4:30pm the person who does uhaul wasn’t there so I was told to come back in 30 minutes. I sat outside for 30 minutes thinking once I went back in I would get the keys no that wasn’t the case, I was then told the system was down which I had to wait an additional 25 minutes. I finally received the keys around 5:20pm which pushed my time back getting my furniture unloading it and returning my uhaul. Once I returned back to the store to drop the uhaul off which was around 7:52pm after the scheduled return time, which was 7:30pm so now I’m late returning the van which isnt my fault it’s the store and uhaul because the system was down and the guy wasn’t there at my pick up time. Returning the truck was even worst experience because the app kept crashing and or closing on me so I couldn’t and then I had no idea where to drop the truck keys off bc there was no visible uhaul key box….. I will never ever use this location again

You guys should seriously consider who you allow to own your trucks, because from the service I received at this center I definitely want nothing to do with U-Haul anymore. From the moment we walked into the store to the moment we walked out, the Arab guy berated us, shut us up and after we left he tried to charge extra on our account . We had to alert the bank. Fuck him and honestly, this is a fuck you to U-Haul too. To hell with you all and your business. Employing scams and scums

There was also a 1/4 tank in the van when I drove it, approximately 9 miles and they claimed it was at 3/8 just to charge me an additional $16 for fuel. Would not recommend this location for anyone looking for reliability.

Carlos BWhile we were grateful to be able to get a much-needed U-Haul for this location and it served our needs well, I would not choose to return to this location if I had another option. The location is rather sketchy and I would not recommend attempting to complete a self-return after dark. The vehicles are literally just parked all along the street on the curbs as there is no official parking area for them. There was no signage in the Dreams furniture store to indicate it was an official U-Haul pickup location. You have to go to the back of the store and hope the person there would help you. The man we dealt with was helping other customers and barely spoke to us while he multitasked helping them and finalizing the online paperwork for us to pick up the vehicle. The brake lights and rear turn signal lights on the van we rented did not work, which is extremely dangerous. I could not report this issue in the app when I completed the self return because of a bug in the app which prevented me from completing the return process unless I said there were no issues with the vehicle.

Richard TAssociate was not familiar enough with vehicles to discuss my needs. I paid for equipment that was not provided (dolly). I drove to furniture pick up location before figuring out it wasn’t in the truck, so was not able to move what i needed. Renting the truck was a complete waste of time and money. When I filled out my return information saying there were issues, I received a notification that someone would reach out to me before closing rental invoice. This did not happen- Instead I received a full invoice via email and this survey. Not only will I not use this location again, but I will not use Uhaul again.

He told me I needed to contact Uhaul customer service to resolve this issue, and when I asked for a phone number, he told me to "Google it." In the store, I contacted Uhaul customer service when he said he couldn't do anything about the issue, and they said they would give me a refund for $44.70, which is the incorrect charge of refueling. The representative at Dream Furniture should not have a job.

Now I have to prove I didn’t return the truck 2 days late because if the lack of dream furniture staff doing their job properly. In these times of unemployment it’s an extreme burden on my family to have more money taking from me when it is under false information and the burden falls on me to prove I was not in the wrong. Would never recommend uhaul or this location to anyone. I will never use this company again.
