Rick was very rude and disorganized. They didn't have the equipment I rented so they gave me a truck and trailer that was still too small. So now I have to do the trip again. They also didn't have the appliance dolly. It took them almost 2 hours to check me out. I had to drive an extra 120 miles round trip to get the size of vehicle I needed and it still wasn't there.Tammy J.

The reservation process was extremely challenging. The pick-up location was changed the day before we were planning to pick up the truck. The communication between the main UHaul dispatch to the local representatives did not seem to be something that occurs (which is frustrating). We took care of the "paperwork/check-out" on Friday evening because the local rep "did not do the online check-out process" and would not commit to be available until 10AM Saturday morning, which was later than we planned to start loading. Then, changes that were made through the main UHaul dispatch (mileage allowance, # of approved rental dates) did not appear to be communicated to the pick-up location representative. And, it took a while for them to find the keys before realizing they were in the truck. The personnel at the Beaver UT location were quite accommodating to everything we told them regarding the terms....it was just very frustrating to see it wasn't already taken care of in the paperwork. After doing the check-out paperwork on Friday, we planned to actually "pick up the UHaul" on Saturday morning to avoid adding unnecessary miles on the vehicle. When the truck was started, the "check engine light" came on so we had to wait for the representative to return to the facility and check it out. He said it was due to a catalytic converter recently being installed and not cleared in the diagnostic system. He did something to make the light go out and said if it comes back on "don't worry about it". The light did not come on during the entire trip, but just before returning the truck in CO the "check engine light" did come back on; so, I told Rodney in Aurora, CO that it just came on minutes before pulling in the lot.Debra M.
1. Address for the location does not match physical location. We ended up on a disused frontage road in front of some poorly maintained warehouse buildings. We called the location for directions and the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude and disrespectful. They literally said, "Hello." I answered, "Hi, I'm trying to reach UHaul...?" And he responded, "WELL YOU BETTER START TALKING THEN." Really??? The rest of the conversation was no better. 2. The location has no signage for UHaul. You have to talk to a specific man who's working inside an auto shop - inside a Chevron gas station! Nobody knew where he was, so they told us to just walk out in the weeds toward where the trucks were parked and we might find him. Everyone we talked to acted like we weren't their problem and we were wasting their time or in their way. 3. The man who we finally found was pretty snappy at first and only softened his attitude when I mentioned that we weren't there to be treated like crap. He offered to wash the windows for the truck before we left, which was nice because the whole thing was dirty. 4. We dealt with this whole ordeal AFTER our reservation was changed at the last moment by UHaul. Our original rental was for a smaller truck 50 miles away from this one. We appreciate the extra mileage allowance and time to use this truck, but this experience as a whole was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. It made the already stressful task of moving ten times worse. My original location was supposed to be cedar city that had been booked 2 weeks in advance. They didn't have my truck so we had to have family pick up the truck out of the way and we had to pay for extra gas to get the truck. Then there wasnt a dolly like was set in the contract and we haven't been refunded.Dallin L.

My experience was horrible!! I reserved a truck and trailer in cedar city but then get transferred to beaver and then get transferred to Richfield! So I had to pay for gas to drive that truck an hour and half back to my home.( 10mpg btw)! I hope to never have to use uhaul again!Michael S.

Nobody seemed to know what was going on with U-Haul rentals. The main guy was not there. I was just told to leave the key on a stack of papers on his desk and he'd get to it later. They operate out of a service/gas station. The only reason I even knew they did U-Haul rentals was a couple of trucks parked out to the side of the shop. They also say that a uhaul representative has to come out to inspect the truck and do the oil change. This is ridiculous considering its a full service gas station! No wonder renting these trucks is so expensive!MIRIAM O.

The equipment was not maintained. The right side taillights were not functioning and the location was too busy to fix the issue. It was clearly an issue that should have been discovered before we picked up our equipment. Even though I paid in advance, and did the early check-in, it still took over an hour for us to be on our merry way. Quite disappointing.Amber C.

while it started out good, my experience was the worst ever. My truck was supposed to be picked up in Richfield Utah, but I got a text saying it was ready for me in Fillmore Utah. 90 mile difference. When I contacted the Richfield guy, he said, "yeah it's here but I am closed for the weekend" My Beaver guy Rick had to go up at 1:00am and get it for me and bring it back to Beaver. So then I had to drive it from Beaver to Richfield, 55 miles, where my truck was supposed to be. On the way over, I got a call from Richfield asking if I was coming to get my truck and that it had arrived early on Friday and was ready. Meaning what? My plan was to drive my own truck and trailer to Richfield in case we needed another trailer, which we did, then I also would have transportation back home Saturday night. I had to stay over night in P.G. and get a ride with someone passing through to get back home. Absolute nightmare!!!!Elsha K.
