The online return process was FRUSTRATING!!! I logged into my account to return my rented trailer. The checkin process would not let me get by the first step of entering mileage and gas tank level which was not applicable. This process needs to improve. . Unfortunately, I arrived after hours and my situation was such that I could not complete the check-in process on my phone so I just dropped the key and left. When I phoned the dealer there was no answer. I was too busy moving, selling and buying a house, and working out all the other details I was unable to call again. A couple of days later I got an email confirming the check in. I failed on my part, but U-Haul did a great job on the check in process. Great job Du Frane Mini Storage/U-haul. Thank you!!!William S.

Your on line check back in needs to be fixed. I was NOT aware of the need to take a picture and up load that pic before it was TOO late as the keys were all ready in the drop box..!! That was step 3 or something like that. I did replace my fuel, wrote down mileage then put keys into box. I logged onto your site only THEN to find out the pic was needed. So I could NOT finish turn in requirements. So now I must go to the office and try to fix this mess..!!!Terry M.

Very convenient location with easy street access. I had a storage unit on this property and getting a trailer reserved for the same day was possible. Rental process went quickly and I was offered help to hook up the trailer. l was on my way after getting the lights and hitch connections checked. Greatly appreciated after hours drop-off. March weather is unpredictable, but we got storage unit emptied on a beautiful warm sunny Sunday.Drew H.

The associate assisting customers was professional and helpful. With that said, you could have used an additional associate. I had to wait about 30 minutes to check the U-Haul in. That is a long time to stand in a very small and cramped store.Mark B.

I specifically requested for in person check in but still had to do everything myself..I had to wait outside for 15 minutes in the cold before they even let me in the shop. I ordered a dolly for use but they gave me a vehicle with NO RAMP! What's the point? Waste of money on the dolly as we couldn't even use it!!Tammi T.

The checking in process took way too long. The trailer was covered with snow that I had to clean out. The connection of the trailer to the truck was a disaster. Why does UHaul have a hitch that needs to be screwed in? How do you know, if you're weak, that the hitch is tight enough? When I asked how I could secure the trailer w/ a lock I was told something about lock the chains. Then I opened the front hood to check the levels of window wiper fluid and then could not secure the hood. I had to call the UHaul local office and one of the employees came out, late at night, and eventually got it to lock. What kind of nonnessne it that? I want a hitch that is either on/off - not "maybe it's tight enough" and I don't want to have to worry if the hood will close again. What if I had to replenish the window wiper fluid and again had the hood not close/lock? I do want to call out that the employee from UHaul that came to my house to fix the hood closing deserves special recognition. It was freezing cold and late in the evening and she was very focused on solving the problem. But that problem should never had occurred. The UHaul van was relatively new. When I told the employee what had happened she mentioned that the attendant that prepared the vehicle also had problems with the hood. Are you kidding me? They knew there was problem and didn't inform me? Very frustrating.BARTON H.

I was completely unable to use the trailer I rented even though I put all correct information in the app regarding the type of vehicle I was towing with and the type of vehicle I was towing on the trailer. The U-Haul app said everything acceptable when I made the reservation. Immediately when I started towing the trailer began to swerve back and forth. It was very unsafe and had to stop using the trailer immediately for safety reasons.MICHAEL K.
