Receipt stated I should have been charged $59.18, but $141.58 was taken out of my account with no explanation. Not impressed with this.

ANDREW HStaff were great..usually people who are renting vehicles are in a hurry and don’t want to waste time checking over the vehicle..the vehicle I used was in very good shape..so I didn’t have to waste much time..it would be nice if someone could go over the van first and put down if there was anything wrong with it..the pictures are a good idea..but it possible that I might miss something.
Edmund MAgent does not know what he is doing. Took a long time to get the Keys and Load the uHaul System.
CHUN LWe requested moving blankets on the reservation but was told there weren’t any when we picked up the van (they didn’t seem to have moving supplies). It turned out we didn’t actually need them but advanced warning would have been nice. The van was clean, new with low mileage - loved that! They were very efficient with the pick up and return and helpful answering any questions (great spot to get amazing road trip snacks too). I would definitely pick up at this location again. Be sure to set up your details in the app (and add all drivers) in advance. It saved us a lot of time and helped the process go smoothly.
Lara AI recently booked a U-Haul van for a 4 PM pickup, but the previous customer returned it 1.5 hours late, forcing me to wait around the pickup location. When I called customer support, I was offered a $50 reservation guarantee as compensation, but it was not applied to my invoice. After returning the van to the same location, the staff forgot to register it as returned, leading to further hassle for me as I had to call U-Haul customer service the following day. Additionally, I was incorrectly charged for 116 km when I only drove 20 km. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and the poor customer support.

ronald LIt would be very helpful to have the vehicle parked on the street rather than in an awkward spot that requires difficult and unassisted backing out into a busy, narrow back alley.
ian bThey charged me for insurance while I made sure I wasn't checking the box when booking online. When I booked it specifically said 23.47$ with taxes and I ended up paying 46$
emeline gPerhaps more lighting in the rear lane parking space, and neighbors could be encouraged to pick up all the piles of garbage there too.(not your space which was spotless) Pretty spooky at night drop off. Staff were great and helpful.
Ronald LMake sure the fuel level is not at a warning activation level. Make sure that even though moving blankets are offered to order when reserving a van the web site issues a warning that they may not be avialble when the vehiclw is picked up.

Parham EI waited 45 minutes for the clerk to figure out how to register me. Once he had finally figured it out he could not find the keys as they had been misplaced. It’s taken no longer than 5 minutes to register and gets keys before at other locations. Terrible experience.

Kerry EVehicle was double booked, with two customers in the store for just 1 vehicle. Vehicle had a flat tyre warning upon pickup. This was not resolved or addressed by store. Despite entering all my information online to speed up the process, this location required me to re-submit my license and information. Location refused to give me a receipt or tell me how much my total was. When I received the receipt electronically there were additional charges that I was not expecting and were not explained to me. Overall very frustrating experience.
Morgan HStaff understands the process. Don’t ask the same information that was already provided. Clean the vehicle, it was filthy inside and out. Record photos of vehicle were not recent or accurate at all.
JOHN SExplain in more detail where the charges come from. I was told that I was getting charged $12, the bill says $71 and I got a charge on my credit card for $120.
Katherine BI VERY much appreciate U-Haul providing local/nearby, community-based access to moving vehicles - it is an excellent community service. Unfortunately this experience was less than satisfactory. On this occasion at this location, when picking up the person was distracted with other things happening in his corner store. He was pleasant. The pickup process took a very long time - 20 minutes - despite having done the online checkout in advance. The person did not review the contract with me, get my approval to the contract, nor did I sign it. The cargo van itself had an engine service notification which needs to be dealt with. Otherwise the van was very clean and in good working condition. On dropoff, a different person handled this. The quality of his customer service was poor; curt, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Similarly the invoice was given to me without my signing or agreeing to it. When I noticed the CDW charge I did not agree to, he insisted that I agreed to it (which I did not). It is never friendly to insist someone did something - effectively saying they are lying - let alone when you have no basis for that claim. Eventually he said there was nothing he could do and told me my only recourse was to call U-Haul customer service. This should have been clearly communicated at the outset, saving time and reducing the frustration. Thankfully when I called U-Haul customer service, the person provided great service and reversed the charge without any issue.

Paul AThis was a ripoff. The gas level when I picked up the van was a 1/4. I travelled 33 km for my deliveries. I was not made aware that there would be a charge for filling as I was paying by the km. I was also worried that there would not be enough gas to get to a service station. I asked the Mart person how much extra it would cost and he refused to give me an estimate or even tell me of a service charge. It cost as much for a few liters of gas as for the rest of the trip. I will inform others of this ripoff 19.95 is a laugh.
