James GArea was small. Had to pull up out of another U-haul pickup way. employee was yelling at me that I could not be near the loading dock before I could tell him that I was just getting out of way so another uhaul van could leave. Other than that everything was fine.

Mari HThe process was much easier than I expected. The overall cost for the 5 or so hours I needed the truck was much less than realized was an even better deal. Of course having a plan to use a storage facility close by to home and this UHaul location made a huge impact. I would recommend it !

Doug BThe person running the U-Haul side of the store was very rude and seemed like he didn’t want to do his job. I showed up saw that he was taking notes on the U-Haul and I went inside and waited for him. 10 min went by. I already reserved the trailer. So I went outside to the guy said good morning and that I was here to pick up a trailer that I reserved. He had an attitude. Went inside and he continued to have an attitude saying he was checking on the lot and that 2 people wanted receipts and another checking out a trailer. Yet there was no one there but I get it as active duty navy officer I understand you have a lot of responsibility got it. But no need to be rude about it. I was half minded of just taking my business elsewhere. But he started my paperwork and was on my way in less than 10 min. I then called the ace hardware store about after hour drop off and the person there was rude when I was explaining if they had after hour drop off. I was cut mid sentence to the guy saying that the U-Haul side was closed which I knew because of the app. I didn’t even get to finish my question. Did not have a good time with the people in charge of the U-Haul but the trailer was good
Zachary NHave your employees more customer friendly . The employee I encountered was not very customer friendly . Being a pleasant person doesn’t cost a thing. While he was knowledgeable but not very pleasant.

THEODORE SHad to drive all over the city to find the required ball. Never told they required a 10,000 lbs ball. Front tire strap would not release. Given the wrong trailer (serial number) did not match paperwork. Drop off center was like a 3rd world country beggers coming up to us wanting cigarettes and money Still waiting for customer service to call Not the same company I remember

JAMES JWhen I got to the location I was told by the employee handling the rentals if I needed to extend my rental to call their store directly and they would take care of me well that same night it was decided to extend the rental another day so when the store opened I called to extend my rental however the line was busy and stayed that way for the next 4 hrs as I continued to call periodically throughout each hour which extremely frustrated me as it got closer and closer to the time my rental was originally due back so instead I went on the app and extended my rental. What's the point of me calling for the help or whatever I needed to call for if there isn't a way to get ahold of them!!!
KIERSTEN WI tried booking through the app and it wasn’t very helpful. I needed a U-Haul for a Sunday and booked a 24/7 from the given location suggestions on the app. However, that location turned out not to be a 24/7 location. If I hadn’t called and spoke to an actual customer service rep I would have showed up and not gotten a truck. The rep was very helpful fixing the problems. The Duncan location was great,

CORRIE FUpon picking up the U-Haul, the gentlemen was not very knowledgeable about the self service option. I was able to figure it out and was on my way. Once I arrived to return the U-Haul, the gentleman working on 06/13 was extremely unprofessional. He told me it would be 30 minutes to return my rental keys due to him assisting two additional customers. He spoke poorly of the customers for needing a translator to assist with the self service option. I asked the gentlemen if the U-Haul needed to be filled with gas completely and he told me that it states in the contract that you bring it back with the fuel that you left with. This was my first time renting with U-Haul, it was a honest question. He then proceeds to try to tell me that the self service option is not a great service option and to just come in the store. That’s not ideal when you receive that typer of service and the location doesn’t open until 10:00. This was a horrible first experience, luckily after speaking with Jonah in customer service he was able to answer my questions that I had and took the pressure off.
Shylaijah WDolly/hand truck rental wasn’t available. I had to buy one for $100 at the store the u haul was located in.

Brian HPerson that helped seemed to not want to really do his job. First trailer we hooked up to had a flat tire & when guy was told he got a bit huffy about having to swap the trailer out. I will use a different business the next time I have to rent a u haul trailer.

Steven MThe individual named Kevin that ran the U-Haul desk on Saturday May 17th needs to go or customers will still continue to find alternate locations. A few words that come to mind that describe my experience with Kevin are; demeaning to myself and the assistant manager which he bad mouthed to another member in front of a line of steals 15 people, arrogant, no customer facing skills, rude, useless. After speaking with the assistant manager he made everything alright and miraculously found a truck after Kevin said multiple times nothing could be done to honor my reservation. From a corporate U-Haul needs to step in and advice this location to replace Kevin with someone better suited from a knowledge and skill perspective. If immediate change doesn’t take place the unhaul brand will continue o be poorly represented. Please reach out if further communication is needed. I’m would like to hear what u husk does to hold Kevin accountable for his actions.

CHARLES MThe customer service representative was so disrespectful to me and other customers… I will never use this location again. Also the truck was dirty and had wood in the back of it and wood chips in the cabin. The representative said the truck was in a half tank of gas and it wasn’t. I took a video and pictures. WORST uhaul location ever!!!!! Words can’t explain the unprofessionalism of the representative!!!

DESIREE AWe rented a truck through Ace Hardware on red bank rd in goose creek, SC, and had to wait over an hour to get our truck because the gentleman who was working U-Haul, had to make a key. He didn’t even acknowledge my presence for more than 30 mins. I understand being under staffed however, poor customer service is never ok. A nice hello, I’ll be right with you would’ve made a difference but instead he turned his back and continued not helping 4 people at his desk. I ONLY received help after asking for a manager.
Dana MIt’s to expensive to rent a uhaul
ANDREW NI put gas in the truck and was still charged for fuel. I took photos of before and after and drove less than 15 miles and was charged anyways after putting fuel in the truck. The truck was dirty in the cab and reeked of smoke. I have rented here before and always get over charged.

Kyle TI had reserved van for 4 return in 3 drove 19 miles Tire sensor light on and unit was not clean Drink spilled all over dashboard around wheel you could see dried up like running and dried. There was trash still left on door When said something you know maybe an offer of like 10 percent off rental would have been nice. I was just really shocked
Crystal AI've never driven such a dirty truck. I had to clean the mirrors so I could see and the console/dash had spills all over it. Very disappointing
DAVID JJust pay attention to people returning vehicles. If you see them and know they need help get them help. Don’t make them walk to the back and then back up to the front to ask for help. Especially if you saw the person park the vehicle, walk in and walk to the back to an empty counter. Then when I got back up front your just up there running your mouth (Mr. Ponytail). I just had foot surgery and walking isn’t so easy for me. You never know what people are going through and you could’ve offered me some help.
