The location itself was excellent! My problem was with U-HAUL as a company. U-HAUL's payment system crashed and their pay by phone system would not authorize the charge. However my card was charged the full amount twice. The location manager was more than helpful with resolving this issue.Kayla S.

It was hard to understand where the location was. I originally set up to pick up my trailer at the Uhaul Kingshighway location right across the street from this location.Patricia M C.

There was nothing wrong with the pick up location other than a very wear internet signal which made the check in process very difficult. In fact the check in process overall is not user friendly in general. It took over 30 minutes to check inMonica W.

A gravel lot with no one around. OK for CoVid era, but not normal business. Pick up took far longer than it would have with a slow human. A long range truck without cruise control. I realize this is a business decision by U-Haul, but not customer friendly or safety related. Drivers do not become as fatigued with cruise control and are less likely to overspeed.Douglas W.

I went to the actual U-haul location to pick up my reserved truck. There was only one person working and 4 people ahead of me. The computer system was down, so the associate was doing much of the work on his smartphone. It took about 25 minutes to get to me. My ride left to return to the house to prep the loading. The associate informed me my reserved truck was not at that location. It was across a rather busy intersection at a storage barn location. I had to hitch a ride with another customer to safely get across the street. When I arrived at the storage location, there was no one there, that location did not open for another 30 minutes. I called the phone number on the door. The person who answered informed me I must have signed up for the automatic check-out. The keys were in the lock-box. I would have to log into my account and get the password for the lock-box. Once I logged in, I was unable to figure out where to go in the website to check out the vehicle. It was very frustrating, and I was losing valuable time. Once the associate arrived, he attempted to obtain the password, but he too, was unable. A third person was needed to be contacted in order to open the lock-box. The loading, moving, unloading, and returning at the Columbia, MO location occurred without further incident. However, while driving the truck, the passenger door seal was bad, and the rushing wind noise over 50mph was causing my passenger and I to yell to be heard. Every person I dealt with in this process was professional, understanding, and courteous. I am very dissatisfied with the automatic check-out service. There needs to be improvement in accessing the window to verify the renter, and obtain the password.Eugene O.

I was sent a text stating that I could pick up my uhaul trailer at 8am the day of my move. I get to the location and it says that they don't even open until 9am. This would have have been fine, but I had movers scheduled for 830 that morning and I had a long drive to meet more movers. I went back to the Cape uhaul location and was told there was nothing that they could do, but then the guy called his manager and luckily he was able to meet me at the other location and get the trailer for me. It was still almost 9 before it happened though. I was also assured multiple times that a 5Ã—8 trailer would fit a couch, bedroom suit (queen size), and boxes... it did not.. so ended up having to leave my bed behind for now so I could get the rest of my things in the trailer. Of course they didn't have anything else available that morning that would have fit everything. Overall, my experience was not pleasant at this location and there definitely needs to be more people on staff- that morning there was 1 guy working and multiple customers that need assistance and when you're moving (especially long distance) you're on a timeline because you have everything scheduled. As for getting my hitch installed on my vehicle to pull the trailer, I had to take it back 2 times before my move for that because they didn't have the part. The 2nd time I went back, they still didn't have it, but did get the job completed. However, they forgot to put the ball hitch on it...Brittney C.

Location was small but accessible. Look for the signs and you will be able to see clearly where to drive in to drop off equipment. We dropped off after hours so we didn't work directly with any people but there was plenty of room for drop off.Kimberley H.
If there is not a truck available at a specific location you need to be upfront and not make changes at the last. We were closing on a house and moving so there was no way we could rearrange our schedule and for U-Haul to call on a Sunday when most businesses are closed made the matter worse. And then to go to the alternate location and there was still not a truck available did not make for a good impression of the U-Haul company. If Kate Jones hadn't been able to help us it would have caused serious problems.Phillip D.

The mobile app was great. Loved the convenience.The lock box was a bit hard to open and was just a little confusing on returning the key when at first we could not get the box open. It was almost like there was a vacuum keeping it from opening at first.Julia B.

Your phone ordering system is teadious and the people you talk to know nothing about hauling and the vehicles you use to pull trailers with. The place we picked up the trailer was very helpful and organized. I had to give the same information to them that I gave on the phone.Michael S.

lady at the location had no idea how to hook up the trailer, didn't ck it, didn't know how to operate the computer and didn't ck the brake or blinker lights. If we had not know anything about hooking up trailers we coudnt have.linda T.
