The check in personnel was very rude. First he said I didn't have a reservation without even looking it up. Then, he told me to go look at what he did have in the back and when I came back he was helping another customer. I waiting my turn and politely asked if he could help check me out because I had to be somewhere with the uhaul at 4. He then realized I did have a reservation. His whole attitude was a turn off. I'm the customer. He wasn't apologetic nor did he address my concerns. I would like a refund.

Van needed oil change. Took me ten minutes to find the button that cleared the message so I could see the odometer and report the mileage. Also did not receive the moving blankets I ordered which made my move much more difficult and led to furniture damage.

They messed up my already made reservation by changing the drop off location. Also, only they only have one person trying to run the convenience store and the uhaul counter so it took the better part of 45 minutes to try and get the trailer with just one person in front of me.

This location is SO close to my house, but the service was horrible! From the cashier banging on the plexiglass for me to come to the other window to the dirty pick up truck that was reserved for me. I only wish I could post the pictures!

This is the second time I have had to rent from Uhaul in 2 weeks and both times I attempted to reserve my needed equipment online. Both times when I arrived at the location where the reservation was made the equipment wasn't there and I was forced to go to another location that was out of the way. This is obviously more than just inconvenient when I have to pay for the mileage on top of the rental fee. If equipment isn't available at a specific location then it should show that online. Keeping track of inventory should not be the most complex part of your day and this kind of screw up certainly shouldn't happen twice within 7 days.

It took forever to get my equipment and when I did receive it was totally dirty in the cab and inside the back!

The first drop off location (6890 Peachtree Industrial Bvd, Dunwoody, GA) a location which was listed as a drop off location on Uhaul's website and scheduled on my order, advised me that they no longer accepted Uhaul drop offs. Within 15 seconds of pulling into the parking lot, someone approached the vehicle offering to sell me crack. That site should never have been authorized as a Uhaul location. This leaves me completely unwilling to trust Uhaul approved locations as safe. The second location (at which I did return the truck and that I had to find on the fly) wasn't much better. I was required to drive the car around the back of the building (in a poorly lit area). The clerk advised he could not leave his secure enclosed spot to inspect the vehicle and provide a clean "check in" document. I left without any documentation proving I had even returned the vehicle (much less in acceptable shape). Except for the fine location from which I picked up the rental, I would not trust Uhaul locations as having been vetted for safety..

The rep called me after I returned the Uhaul claiming i didn't return the key. Turns out I did. He was very rude when he called. Please be sure you know what you're talking about before accusing someone of not returning equipment.

The lady behind the counter was rude. We had an issue so she told us we had to be all customer service when I got them on the line they said she would have to call them to correct the issue. The truck had crumbs on the cup holder. Won't be going back to that location.

Renting a Uhaul for $39.99 a day, use to mean 24 hours. Now it's around 10 hours, and charged extra if you exceed that time. I was charged an extra $20, but returned within 24hours.

The damn truck battery died on me. And I had to move my furniture in the rain.

We checked in online days before we arrived and when we got there we were the only people there to pick up a vehicle. It still took more than fifty minutes. The woman who was supposed to help us got confused about the type of rental it was and kept asking for the code for the key when we weren't doing that type of pickup. Everytime I told her that we weren't sent a code, she she would interrupt, laugh or roll her eyes. At one point she leaned forward and aggressively bit down on her hand for about ten seconds while staring at me and then told me she didn't want to get more mad at me. After about forty minutes of this she finally called her manager and handed the phone to me. After I explained, he had a different guy come help who literally had us out the door within five minutes of looking at the computer. While we were there, people tried to return a truck with the same woman and had a terrible time. When they left, the truck returner turned to us and said, "Good luck, you are gonna need it." Plus, once we got into the vehicle drink bottles, paper trash, receipts and gum wrappers were all left in the cab. There is no way it was actually cleaned much less sanitized. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

My problem wasn't with the location, but with UHaul itself. I ordered 12 furniture pads, they only had 6 available. I ordered a furniture dolly and there was not one available. When I called the night before I was to pick up the truck, I was told that the truck may not be available as others didn't return theirs timely. The store manager apologized, but said it was UHaul at fault, not him. Other customers were also having the same issue with not having the equipment that they had reserved. I made my reservation well in advance and feel that I should have had everything I needed. People make moving plans based on having the necessary equipment they reserve. It is hard to move from a fourth floor apartment with no dolly! Unnecessary to say the least. In the last year, I have used UHaul three times. I will not be using it in the future. Very disappointing and added stress in a time that is stressful enough.

We tried the pick up via the website. It was almost completely useless. The process asked us for information that could have been easily provided the day before. We wanted contactless pickup because of covid. However, not only did it waste 30 minutes of our time, but we still had to go in to pick up our keys (as opposed to keyless or a lockbox). Don't promise something you can't deliver.

The vehicle was not clean inside. With Covid being the pandemic that it is, cleaning is VITAL and this truck has mask, crackers and dirt throughout the truck!! I with inside and said something to the clerk. I took pictures before I left and showed them to the clerk before leaving in the be vehicle. There wasn't another one of the size I needed to take. I wasn't please at all with the cleanness of the truck!!

Incredibly nice guy behind the counter and the whole process was seamless. I was a little apprehensive that my van wouldn't be there b/c it, honestly, was such a frictionless process online... but it was there, the van was new and the paperwork process couldn't have been easier!!! Highly recommend :)

The location does not have many trucks available. They called me 20 min. before pick-up to let me know my truck was not available when I had booked 2 weeks in advance. Had to be on hold through Uhaul customer service for over 20 min. with still no answer and finally got through on chat where a local traffic office called the location. Then he said it was available and it had just come in but I never received a call from them.

I have rented from this location several times. I come here even though there is a rental location closer to my home because the truck size I need is always available. The store owners at the Dunwoody Food Mart are very helpful and friendly. I can make no meaningful suggestions for improvement.

The floor of the truck was slippery and oily. Rented the truck using a daily rate and was told during check out at 1pm that the truck was due back at 6pm. This location used to be customer friendly but seems to have lost its way.

Then chided by rerun staff for following that instruction especially when I additional equipment to return (dolly, hand truck and blankets). Not so much as the store but customer service call ,I talked to 9 people who played transfer the customer with me, ended up just taking my uhaul to the place needed a tow truck but being that customer service thought it was cute , never got that tow truck. We had an accident and I didn't feel comfortable driving a hour to return it, smh never again
