Truck cab was very dirty. Service was very slow, it took almost one full to pick up our rental at 9am. There were 10 people in line and there was only one person was working at the location, the owner I think, which was surprising given that it was the last day of the month, April 30th in a university town with a lot of students moving in and out of appartements. The owner mentioned having to move approx 45 pieces of equipment, so he knew it was going to be a very busy day.Gilles Michel L.
I am very disappointed as I have been charged a $25 + tax cleaning fee as a result of â€œwet blanketsâ€. These became wet as a result of the rain over the weekend, something outside of my control. I'm assuming the blankets would be laundered after each use for hygiene reasons anyway, so why would I be charged to wash them on this occasion? Rain and therefore stuff getting wet is outside of my control, it would be the same as charging me for the truck getting wet in the rain?Robert M.

Manager was great. The lights on my trailer weren't working and he did some trouble shooting and suggested it might be some blown fuses on my SUV. I raced to a store and replaced the fuses and that solved the issue. Definitely recommend.Michael S.

I got charged a clean-out fee on a vehicle that was completely cleaned out cab and back, it's much less a deposit when they steal it from you however they canJames V.
I was grossly over charged based on am error on uhaul part to not correctly document the kms on the truck before my rental. I did get a refund but not to the full amount, they did not refund the taxes they took on top of the extreme over changeNathan C.

My reservation was for the 1073 Riverside Drive location. Upon arrival at my reservation time the place was closed. I couldn't get through to anyone at your call center. My daughter found the 96 Hodgson road location which I called. He had one unit that just came back which he rented me. This guy saved the day. If I need a rental again I would deal directly with the Hodgson road location.Edward S.

I Needed to call road side assistance and it didn't work kept hanging up on you when calling. I'm not impressed for the $439 price tag plus over $150 in gas for the truck and not being able to get ahold of the roadside assistance. I'm one angry customer !Courtney C.

Actually clean and maintain your trucks to some degree of industry standard for safety and cleanliness. The bumper was falling off my truck. There were cigarette butt's in the door handles and copyholder. The back was so dirty we had to sweep it before we loaded it. When I asked the guy about a "walkaround" of the vehicle and asked him about the bumper...etc, he said he'll just rip the bumper off and keep putting it out on the road. While driving the truck wouldn't shift out of second for the long gest time, and usually having to go well over the posted speed limit just to get it to change gears. The steering was so loose and had way to much play and unresponsiveness. Again when I mentioned this to the guy,he seemed not to give a hoot whatsoever, and actually looked annoyed that I was even questioning and mentioning these safety issues. As far as I am concerned, that truck is a hazard on the road and should be maintained immediately.mark G.

You people are just the greediest scumbags. You snuck a $20 fee onto my bill because I didn't go online and mark my dolly as returned, despite the fact that it was in the back of the truck, exactly where I picked it up. No one informed me about such an absurd fee, and the fact that I'd have to go online to return a dolly when I just have to drop the truck in a parking lot is just ridiculous. This was on top of several other hidden fees that I narrowly avoided. I will absolutely go out of my way to tell people what an awful business you are - ESPECIALLY this location.Joel C.

If a customer is picking up several pieces of equipment they could call ahead to see if customer needed equipment hooked up. Ie: trailer to truck. Also even though we did the online check in there was a lot of in person interaction. With covid this should be kept to a minimumMatthew W M.

Rented pick up truck to deliver bags of shavings.....had to drop off load on side road because truck could not climb a small incline. I was not informed truck was not equipped with 4wd ...that being said the tires on that vehicle are a M&S tire which is totally wrong type of tire for this climate. I feel that I wasted time and money and should be reimbursed fully or partially.LYLE W.

This was a terrible experience first of all I did not feel safe at all and don't think this truck should have been rented out in the winter. The tires were awful, the wipers did not work well and the trailor straps for the towing were ripped and in very poor condition. I will never rent a uhaul again and will recommend that others don't.Catena F.
inspect trucks. broken headlight, wipers just smeared windshield, needed a severe wheel alignment, transmission wouldn't gear down properly on hills, and breaks didn't seems good. overall horrible experience, lucky me and my son weren't in an accident.Curtis S.

There is a leak on the weld where fuel is put in the truck . So fuel spills when fueling from around the weldkent F.

He was out helping a customer when I arrived. I didn't mind waiting as I had wished someone had come outside to help me when I rented it. I needed to extend my rental by a few days and they were very helpful to allow me to do so. Would highly recommend them. When I called Moncton to ask about the extension, they informed me their was no option and I had to have the rental back on the day that it was due. No sympathy for unexpected issues.Melanie Dawn M.

Hi, Can I please see the actual photo taken by the service attendant from the vehicle odometer showing the actual range of fuel. I am contesting the additional 13 dollars being charge to me considering that i have refilled the fuel exactly the same as what we've seen on the gauge before we use the vehicle. Great franchisee. Typically, U-hual has a reputation for not having the vehicle you book at pick-up time. I have done business 3-4 times with this franchise, and my vehicle is always there. Owner/operator is friendly, helpful and accomodating. He takes good care of his customers and takes the time to make sure we're safe on the road.Marc G.
