Alfred LI have rented from Uhaul many times over the years and this was the worst experience I have ever had. First I arrived to pick up the Trailer and the Uhaul system was down. This delayed my check out by almost an hour - This is not the fault of ES Motors but it adversely impacted my Uhaul experience. Second, I was told to go hook up the trailer myself - I have NEVER been told this before. Next, the lights on the trailer did not work. Someone from ES Motors "fixed" the lights and an off I went. One hundred miles into a 700 mile drive the lights stopped working and never came back on - I did check all the connections to no avail. Most of my drive occurred at night and felt my situation was not safe. Lastly, It rained during my drive and the trailer leaked which damaged some of the items I was transporting. I really want to ask for a full refund of the terrible experience from start to finish. Joe Schimpf 646 296 1459

DAVID KThe only issue at all was that when the trailer is empty it bangs around and sounds like it could come right off the hitch, but I am not sure that anything can be done about it.
ANTHONY JI have a receipt for the exact trailer I reserved. When I arrived to pick it up, the "manager" said that it would cost more if we wanted it.

When we arrived to pick up our 20' truck they told us that the customer who was supposed to have dropped it off, decided to keep it for another day. But they were able to rent us a 26' truck, and we were quickly on our way. We appreciated their friendly, professional, and efficient service and approach!

HOWARD FThe cargo van that we rented was not safe. Every time you hit the brakes the steering wheel would shake. Brakes and rotors need changing extremely bad. Dents and scratches all over the vehicle.
Catherine SHad to get help to lift my trailer tounge. This was a larger 8x12 enclosed trailer and the tounges are all the way on the ground.
DAVID CTruck could have been cleaned off from the snow and area surrounding truck. Had to walk through snow to get in. Originally rented van, Uhaul called night before and gave me the 10" truck instead due to van not being available. I asked when I went to pick it up if I could return to a closer location by my home and was told it would be consider 1 way and cost more! If I would have thought quick enough when they called, I would have canceled the van and just went for the 10" truck by my house. Total inconvenience.

GRANT GWiring had shorts. I had a reservation at a location 5 min from my home. The night before I was told I needed to change the pickup to a location 45 min away. I drove by at least 4 uhaul sites to get the trailer

DARLENE LYou do not check mileage when returning I told them 30 miles,but did not do 30.it was a one block move.when I returned truck I had only put 16 miles on it charged for 30.

Jessica NRenting after hours via the app was an excruciating 2+ hour ordeal, and that means WITH tech support on the phone! App needs to be clearer, more functional and QA tested in the field with spotty service and no wifi!
A JThe oil light was on from the time I drove it. I think it needs to be more maintained.
COLLeeN GWindshield had a crack in it when I rented it. The dashboard lit up stating "Oil change required." Other than those two items, the van (9 foot) was well maintained and clean. It was just the perfect size to transport what I needed to move. Charges were reasonable.

JOHN ZA little help in picking up the tongue of the trailer and moving it would have been appreciated. It was very heavy and difficult to move to the hitch. Although it was much easier to disconnect by myself.
Paul WCustomer service was not great will never go back again ask about getting a day taken off and we're not very helpful at all Plus they charged the gas charge that isn't even supposed to be there whenever go back to ES motors for U-Haul over again
Aaron WWe arrived to the location at 8:30 to pick up our truck. We were having difficulties unlocking the box to obtain our keys so we asked the store associate for assistance. We were rudely informed he was too busy and we should just call corporate. We tried navigating the retrieval of our keys for an hour and a half! The associate still refused to help. We were not able to retrieve our keys until after 10am, while two movers we’d hired were waiting on the clock costing us money for this wasted time. After getting yelled at and having the keys shoved at us, we had to trek to the back of a gravel lot to retrieve our FILTHY truck. The walk was highly difficult for me as I am an amputee with a prosthetic leg. The store associate of course never offered to help or remotely cared. The truck not only smelled but had BLOOD SMEARED ALL OVER THE PASSENGER DOOR! This was not a small amount of blood either. Biohazard anyone?! My amputation was more pleasant than our experience here. Recommend to all your enemies and neighborhood demons.
Robert MAll went very smooth and they were a great help. Not what im used to working with a large company. ES motors made it extremely easy and affordable.
Richard LThe word lock was extremely difficult to use. It took almost 30 minutes to open. When it finally clicked the lever was very challenging for arthritic fingers to push down.

Roger OUnfriendly, but informative. He took my keys and said I would be getting an e-mail within the hour. They charged me a $25 cleanup fee and I cleaned the truck up before returning it. The truck was cleaner when I dropped it off than when I picked it up. I will dispute the $25 cleanup charge with my credit card company.
Frank PUhaul needs better customer service people, never renting again. Will pay more from someone else

Carolyn WThe drop off location I was assigned was closed on Sunday. Savannah from the central U-Haul call center instructed me to leave it in the parking lot. I was required to disconnect the trailer myself and leave it. I am assuming it was received on Monday. I received no phone call confirming it was received. I have dated and timed pictures showing that the trailer was dropped off if there are any questions.
Richard HThe price is reasonable, The Staff was very polite. It only took 1/2 hour I was In and out !! It was worth every cent getting everything loaded and making one trip !!
