Due to airline issues, I was unable to arrive to pick up my equipment. My son was an authorized driver, and he went to pick up the equipment. He was able to do so but I was dropped off of the authorized deriver list. My son was asked about other drivers, and he told the agent that I would be the primary driver. Additionally, we found that the contract became his. I was excluded from most communication and all texts. Then we found that I was not even an authorized driver and that he was the responsible party. I question just why U-Haul is able to assign my debt and authorize someone access to my credit card? Why was I not notified of the change in the contract? Other than this issue, I was very satisfied with this rental.
Lucas GThe location did their part. The problem was the reservation system. I had to book a larger trailer that was only available at this location. I booked the one i needed at multiple location that the system said the trailer was available only to be switch to one that i could not use. The system needs to show the corrected inventory.
