I had a problem with the trailer lights. I have already called about the issue. I am a regular customer that picks up trailers. I have also asked for a refund because of the time crunch thats why I was unable to call uhaul for any type of service. I was unable to use the unit. Thanks

How U-Haul Reviews WorkUpon entering, I gave my name to the male employee at the desk. His manner was not friendly, and he immediately questioned me about the rental blankets, asking whether I had folded them and indicating that I could be charged a cleaning fee if I had not. The female employee at the desk immediately to the right of the entrance then asked, “Are they in a pile?” The male employee subsequently told me where to leave the blankets. At no point did he offer to assist me. I did not actually need help, but because of the way I was spoken to, I told him that I did. There is a professional and respectful way to communicate with customers. For example, he could have simply asked, “Sir, did you happen to fold the blankets?” If I had said no, he could have politely explained, “Please fold them so you do not incur a cleaning fee.” The issue was not the request itself; it was the manner in which it was communicated. I have rented from U-Haul before and did not complain the last time, even though the blankets I received were wet. I am not someone who looks for reasons to complain, but I do believe customers should be treated with courtesy and respect. For comparison, when I have returned equipment to the Dagsboro, Delaware location, the experience has been completely different. The person there was professional, accommodating, and friendly. That is the level of customer service I expect when doing business with U-Haul. Unfortunately, my experience at this location left me with the impression that the employees are more focused on selling used cars than on providing a positive U-Haul customer experience. The interaction was unprofessional and unnecessarily unpleasant. When I rent from U-Haul again, I will return equipment to the Dagsboro, DE location instead.
