The rental process was quick, easy, and the person who serviced me exhibited good customer service. The location didn't appear to be open as my drop off was on a Sunday and it was raining during my pickup as the person I dealt with was waiting outside in his car for me to arrive. We went inside for the transaction then the key needed to be retrieved from the drop off box. The vehicle I was given had the gas light turn on less than a mile into my drive and (although not filthy) it appeared to not have been checked and cleaned between me and whomever had the vehicle before me. I also learned later while in the middle of loading the van that the side door doesn't open both doors. I'm unsure if that is normal or not for U-Haul vans but it was an inconvenience for me. Overall, easy process, which I like, but my van was on empty when I got it.

Beverly JThe drop off location was changed by a text that I received, and we had trouble finding the spot and locating the key drop off box on the building. It was located on the side of the building and not the front. The drop off location for the truck was around the back of a garage, in a very busy intersection that was hard to get in and out of. I wish we could have parked in the front, it would have felt safer since the business was closed at the time of drop off. Also I didn't like a new location being sent via text to use, especially being in an area I was not familiar with. Not sure why UHaul did this, they said it was closer, but I had to grow through some parts of town that did not feel safe. I knew where the other drop off place was. I think if you choose a place to drop it off, UHaul should let you since you're paying for milage anyway. The business was not open for any personnel to help, but the survey would not let me choose "Not applicable" for that question.

Maurice WThe pickup was not professional. We had to get an employee had to get me to call a fella to assist me on the phone. He had a hard time getting things figured out on the phone, it was time consuming. The fella was polite and helpful. The truck was very clean, but the side mirror was loose and I was unable to see anything unless I reached out and adjusted every few mins.
