When we arrived at the Vienna location on Leesburg Pike, which had a BP gas station, John told us that he didn’t have my confirmed reservation for a 10’ truck. He kept saying it wasn’t his fault. So he sent us to a different location we later learned was outside his district. We went there and were told they didn’t have anything. We called U-Haul’s 1-800 number and spoke to Patricia who was great and helped us out. We learned from her that the trucks were overbooked at our preferred location and John should not have sent us outside his district. She was able to reserve a 15’ truck at the 10’ truck rate at my preferred location. We went back and spoke with John. I tried to explain to him about the rate, showing him the reservation (thankfully I screenshot it). It was pretty much, we can deal with it later attitude and sign the form at the regular rate. I signed and noted that rate and conversation with Patricia. When I returned the truck, John was there and kept saying, “it’s only $10 more.” I explained I didn’t need the 15 and only the 10’ truck and refused to pay the extra. He told me to return it online and refused to do the return process with me, telling me to take the photos. There was a shift change and I spoke to Riyez, who was awesome and noted that the change in rate should have been done when I had picked up the truck (which John refused to do). Return was smooth and at the right rate. The truck itself felt like the transmission or engine was about to go. This would have been a zero star rating if not for Patricia and Riyez.

Zakary HWhen I dropped off the vehicle, the man working the counter said I needed to get the blankets out of the back of the truck and put them back in their storage room myself. It seemed rapey so I declined.

Stuart TI had a 5:30 a.m. mobile pick up scheduled and the app wasn't working with location services. I felt lucky that the owner / operator showed up around 6:30 and I tried explaining to them that I was having an issue. They told me to leave and come back at 8am. I was really surprised and told them no I needed the truck now because I had to start moving. I pretty much had to plead with them to finally give me the key to the truck. The app issue wasn't their fault but I should not have to beg to get the service I registered for.

Convenient customer parking provided on a service road for customer vehicles and exceptional customer service! Forgot something, this location is a gas station service stop! Return truck, gas up, and you're done! Station is not far from Tysons Mall. It is convenient, procodes a clean fleet of U-Haul moving trucks, and its service team members are courteous. George EWon’t ever use this location again. They do disclose everything upfront. I thought my rental would be $50 and they ended up charging me over $100. They gave me a rough time when I tried to return the truck. I’ll be using a different company next time. This place needs more training for transparency purposes.
Hamid MThe driver’s cabin was not in good shape… ripped driver’s seat upholstery, the driver’s sun shield was missing, the overall interior appearance was not up to par. However, mechanical the truck was good.

Thomas UThe mirror was broken and they charged my brother $35 for something that was unspoken of and never mentioned. I tried calling and never got a response. I asked before I handed him the keys if I was getting charged outside of the initial $58 that when I went online it was only $44.

Carol BThis location is a scam!!! I swiped my card for $47 on my credit card for initial hold upon pickup. I checked my account and the guy hit my card twice for an additional $77.50. I tried to look past the previous reviews but the guy does not know what he is doing. I waited to get a receipt after using the truck just for him to tell me he thought an earlier customer was me, and that is why my card was hit twice. Who doesn’t check license’s before making a sale? Unprofessional and will not suggest to anyone looking to rent.

Still don't go back becasuse off all of the phone calls I got after renting, including one to ask me to change my review since they didnt charge me, which was fair.

WAYNE HTruck was clean but the driver side rear view mirror would not stay adjusted. A real safety issue.
Mary BAs long as the one providing the rental is friendly and not rushing the customer, making sure the customer is comfortable with the vehicle, and being transparent with the procedures for renting and returning, as well as being responsive with communication - that provides great customer service. Everything I've mentioned was what I've received with this U-haul rental, and I am pleased with the service they provided.:)

Deborah NThe truck inside and in the back was really dirty. Inside the truck it smelled bad, the steering wheel felt gross, the seats were tearing, the seatbelt was brown, and parts of the inside car were broken. The back of the truck had a bunch of dirt, leaves and debris all on the floor. Please clean your trucks it was awful. For the pick up location, I did appreciate it was next to a gas station so it was easy to fill up after and I appreciate someone picking up the truck right after I filled it up. Inside was not the best, they hardly had any uhaul products to purchase for help with moving. Maybe get more products and have them organized and displayed nicely
