Owner of the location is reasonable. However the operator was rude to me and my girlfriend and overcharged us for gas when we had filled it completely at their own gas station. When dropping off the truck the attendant said that I could wait 30 minutes for a receipt. I couldn't spend the time so I left.Alex S.
Owner/manager was extremely rude and unpleasant. The truck had trash in it from the previous driver. The location does not provide parking, which is incredibly inconvenient, and which I did not realize when I made my reservation, so I had to drive home and return with another driver to pick up my car. This threw off a busy day of moving. On top of that, the owner/manager called me multiple times during the 15(!) minutes I had to leave my car in the lot before I could pick it up again. When I returned, clearly picking up my car as he so rudely demanded over the phone, he was outside waiting and began a shouting confrontation with me, despite the fact that I was already complying with his instructions. The encounter ended with him yelling, "don't ever come back here, we don't want customers like you!" It was astoundingly rude. Also, when I returned to drop the truck off, several of the gas pumps at the gas station (run by the same manager in the same lot) were not functional, making it inconvenient to refill the truck before return as well. As I tried to navigate this final issue and finish up a long day, the manager continued to give me a nasty stare from the window. Start to finish, everything about this experience was unpleasant, and I know from checking Google reviews of the location I am not the first customer to be treated this way.Thomas R.

Website said that they didn't have a van available to rent when they did. Back of van had soil (I cleaned it off)so I could load my stuff. Mgmt at this location doesn't use face covering. I also don't appreciate they not offering parking to customers that rent uhauls.JOSEROBERTO D.

The truck was clean but not as clean as it could have been. There was a lot of glitter in the cab. I know glitter is hard to clean up... To be fair - we had not reserved this ahead of time so maybe it wasn't quite ready to rent? The staff was helpful and got us the truck we needed in a short period of time. Returning was simple and smooth. It is also nice to have the gas station right there to fill up. (Yes, it's not cheap but it is convenient!)Susan W.

The U-Haul representative, Yousof Rahnama, at the E&R Ventures 8217 Leesburg Pike Vienna, VA 22182 location is a CROOK. He will pretend to be an understanding and hospitable individual while meeting in person then will overcharge and rob you blind. I started the process online at uhaul.com in order to rent a truck for a move. Chose the closest pick up location which unfortunately was E&R Ventures. Upon arrival Mr. Rahnama asked if we could bring back the uhaul to drop off at his location, we declined because it would double our mileage. He convinced us to do so because it would help him and even lower our price overall so we agreed to do so. We signed the invoice/contract at the promised rate and thought we were good to go. Our first sign this experience would be trouble was when he handed us the keys and said to let the truck warm up for 10 minutes because the breaks wouldn't work as well if we didn't. Inside the truck we began the online inspection and noticed the gas was well under half full even though he initially said the truck would be half full. We documented and submitted the picture online and also notified him. He said no problem he would take care of it. Returned the truck later on that night, left the tank over half full and went on our way. A couple days later we came to find out we were significantly overcharged. We called Mr. Rahnama and after he pulled up our contract he said the extra (not agreed upon fees) were for all the equipment we requested including blankets, a dolly/hand truck, etc. I informed him that not only did we not request any equipment, but there wasn't any to be found in the empty truck. His second excuse what that the higher fees were because of the high mileage, I explained to him that the mileage was only so high because he specifically wanted us to bring back the truck to him which doubled our trip mileage. After that he got frustrated, yelled a couple things I couldn't understand and I informed him I'd be calling U-Haul directly to try and get this problem solved. At this point he hung up on me. Currently on the phone with U-Haul customer service trying to get this unfortunate issue resolved.Pedro A.

I reserved a cargo van. Upon arrival, no cargo van was available. He offered a 10' Truck instead and I repeatedly asked if all the charges were the same (rate plus mileage rate). He said yes. I had the truck for 2 hours and three minutes and was charged $1.29 per mile (online the truck rate is $0.99 per mile, cargo van rate is $0.69 per mile). I also declined the SafeMove coverage as my personal auto insurance covers rentals. So instead of paying $32.67 for the mileage, I was charged $42.57. Since there was no cargo van available, why should I be forced to pay extra for the mileage rate because my reservation was not honored? When I called to inquire about this, I was told to call back because there was another customer they had to take care of. I stayed on the phone and waited and then was hung up on. I called back and was told to call customer service. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION AND WILL NEVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN!SHANEMICHAEL S.

The guy in this location was ignorant. I tried to talk him about the fuel amount they charged, but he was never ready to listen and the truck was cleaner than I picked it up but he charged me $25 which is insane. Rude! Never suggest this location! Next day they charged me the whole fare again, and I had to pay lots of time to call the customer service and get it back. Customer service is drama. My reservation ended up getting cancelled, and it would have been super bad if I was not able to get another truck (we wasted an hour trying to find a second one).
