We had to move a car that we bought from Wilmington to Covington, Virginia. We could not find any other U-Haul that had a holler like we needed so we had to take the one we were given. It was Rusty. It was rickety and it certainly was not safe. we had a limited time to get the car back to VIRGINIA so we had to try it. U-Haul jerked every few feet and it was a miserable ride back. I will go budget next time you ask and I told you.
bell RFirst time using the app register. Would definitely use again. The supplies were not on the truck. So this was only miss.
John MThere was no utility dolly available. I was charged but told they would remove the charge from my bill. They didn’t remove the charge. I would have rated them, ‘excellent’ if they did what they said they would do.
ROBYN KWorked out VERY well. Van was ready & waiting at the pickup time. I was processed right away & on the road quickly. Total cost was extremely reasonable!

JEAN MThe truck I rented was not returned and I was upgraded to a larger truck at no additional charge. I also needed an appliance dolly and the only one available was the owners personal dolly- he let me use it for the move. So king and helpful.
JEANNE BThe trailer was parked in a puddle that was so deep that I couldn't walk around the back of it. The inside of the trailer looked clean but smelled like it had been used to haul barn animals. I had to store my furninture in the garage after hauling it to let it air out instead of bringing it inside. The trailer also had brake light out.

LORETTA CThe truck I got was a horrible to drive. IT sounded like it was going to blow up every time I had to go up a hill. It had absolutely zero power. I understand that Uhaul as a company is a cheap corporation, but you should put cruise control on your vehicles. Also, I had to keep turning off the, tow/haul, every time. Because it kills your gas mileage. I spent a lot of money on gas to fill that underpowered truck. You should buy a chevy fleet to make your customers experience better next time. . 👍👍
David CUpon arrival they came outside and took charge of detaching the trailer and sent me on my way. Very courteous!
Robert PTruck was given to me with the driver front tire that was dry rotted. When I begin to drive down the road at 55 miles an hour the truck became uncontrollable. I had to pull over and get roadside assistance to come out and replace the tire in order for the truck to be deemed safe to drive.
DANIEL BI wish I knew the lady's name that works the front desk. She was SO super friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. If I am ever in the need for another Uhaul in the Wilmington area, I will DEFINITELY get it from this location.

Anthony GThe interior of the truck was very dirty. We had to clean the windshield inside & outside before driving it, because it was so dirty. It looked like someone had sneezed all over the inside of the windshield. The rest of the truck interior was dirty too. The female who checked us in & gave us the keys was very nice & professional. She called the day before the pick-up to confirm & was polite that day as well. When I booked the U-haul, nothing was said about paying for mileage over & above the regular charge for a one-way rental. When I picked up the truck, I was told we would be allowed 116 miles & if we went over, we had to pay $1 per mile. I told her that would be pushing it awfully close & I didn't think we could get the truck to the loading location, to the delivery location, & then to the drop-off location on that number of miles. She told me U-haul allows a little overage without charging, but that did not happen. We were charged for the additional miles. We drove straight from one place to the other with no detours. U-Haul did not allow us adequate mileage & charged us additional mileage when nothing changed from when we originally booked the truck. For that reason, we would not recommend U-haul to others.
Martha HMore remote area, would not be comfortable doing a night time drop off after hours. Personnel were friendly and inviting when open.
Charlene LBig certain was the gas mileage when you press the gas it feels like pedal is stuck…I understand it’s a big gas tank but $70 dollars and it didn’t move the gages… Jacqueline Hines

Jamie RThey put miles on the truck. I never driven it at all. I'm not very happy about it. But it's close........ 1 had 3 miles the other had .08. I don't know how but they had miles on both of them. I never got into neither one of the truck and van .
thomas bI had my pickup at another location - which had an earliest pickup time of 9:15, so when it was switched to this location - which opened earlier, so it would have been nice to know that I could have picked it up an hour earlier that morning. And, had I booked it for an early pickup time and this location change would have been reversed, would I have been notified that I had to pick up the trailer at a later time?

Elsie HThe location, Earls Wrecker Services was great when I came on short notice because Uhaul messed up my reservation. I made a reservation about a week beforehand and everything was going smoothly until I went to check in for my reservation at the first location (OSC Automotive & Repair) once I checked in it told me "Looks like a piece of equipment has not been assigned for this reservation". Turns out they didn't even have the foot cargo van at this location and I had to figure out if anyone else in town had one and drive over there to get it. So, my 9 am reservation turned into an hour pursuit of finding my van which was frustrating. Uhaul has the policy " Your reservation is guaranteed or we will give you $50" so hopefully they will honor that.

Jackson BAt first I thought it was a little difficult. But after I returned the truck, and followed your instruction on my smartphone, I come to realize it was actually very easy and user friendly. Even when Uhaul was not picking up my location from my phone I called your help desk and she talked me thru how to enable my location on my IPhone. Your help desk was very knowledgeable about my issue
