I’ll be emailing uhaul about this but I ordered collision damage with my rental and it fell off of the reservation for some reason. Very strange and now is proving to be a very frustrating experience. The cars are scattered for 2 city blocks, they don’t have any of the normal things you can get at haul (moving straps etc) and there isn’t even an inside and the booth is like high up so there’s no easy way to double check your reservation and they don’t go over your reservation or the car or anything with you beforehand. While I try to be understanding because it’s a downtown location, this means they need to be extra diligent at checking on people’s reservations

That being said, as the pickup was just as they closed, I had a miserable time using the app and securing the vehicle with very little assistance. I filled out everything on the website ahead of time but when using the app, it was like none of that information was transferred and it was asking me questions without any clear indication of where or how I was supposed to secure the vehicle. Not to mention I was standing in the rain trying to click on my phone, I almost gave up and canceled my move.

Ismael LugoWhen I picked up my truck the back of the truck could have been swept out and the outside could have been cleaned but on top of that not even 5 minutes in I see that the gas tank is near to E which when I picked it up it was on 6% with the picture I took before I left and they expect you to put it back half ways next about 20 minutes in I see the dashboard start showing that the Front left tire need air running low i pay to put air in it and it still was saying the same thing over all I will not be look for these things next time before I leave the property and if not up to standard ask for a new one

Ben GodwardWe had to wait an hour after our scheduled reservation for our truck to show up and were then informed the moving blankets I reserved were also unavailable. We weren’t properly informed when we asked about how to drop off our truck and check out after hours and our bill ended up costing over $100 more than they had originally said. I was never refunded the discount for the late truck arrival. They also promised only to charge us for one day but ended up charging for two. I found customer service and the organization of the company to be the real disappointment here, more than the employees at this particular location.
