Could Uhaul have a telephone USB hub available .on the outside? As soon as I dropped the key my phone died; It was plugged in on the truck. So I couldn't believe when shut down. I had to walk , I found a restaurant that had just closed AND Banged on their windowâ€”(â€œI NEED HELPâ€) Until they finally let me in out of the cold and rain. ThxELIZABETH F.
Good overall experience my only issue was it came with a quarter tank I refilled it to a quarter tank and the Agent said it was not completely a quarter just a notch below when in fact I went to the gas station added the fuel right before giving it in other than that no issues everything was on time and no pointDwayne C.

The pick up location did not sweep out or clean the truck. Throughout the drive we found a hairbrush, food, and other items from previous drivers tucked behind the seats. I was unable to complete after hours check in on my phone since there was no where to pick the key up from. The person in the office was very annoyed that I was there to pick up the truck before 9:30 even though my set pick up time was 9:00.VICTORIA S.
The man working the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. However, I was supposed to do online pickup and the truck wasn't ready because the last person to drop it off did not complete the drop off process. Instead I had to wait until the location opened and had to wait in a long line which put me an hour behind on picking up the truck and had to pay the movers for the time they had to wait.SEAN S.

In Houston, we were given this location to return the truck. At that time we were told that the location is opened on Sunday from 9 to 5 pm. We arrived to the location around 9:30 am, but there was nobody there. We called the given phone number and the representative advised that the location hours are actually from 11:30 to 3:30 pm. We waited until noon, but nobody was still there. I called again and another representative advised that this location is actually closed on Sunday. There two more customers awaiting to return their rentals too. So, if you guys don't know location's hours, you better tell customers the truth. I believe that Uhaul should provide a partial refund for this poor service.DARKO C.

NOT related to the location! Booking feedback: When I booked movers through the website Uhaul booked me a moving company in a completely different state! Then canceled my order and sent be an "updated order" email but it was a generic auto-send so it didn't actually tell me that they cancelled my movers. After I flew to Nashville for my move I then had to scramble find new movers less than 12 hours before I was scheduled to need them because of the lack of communication. IT WAS HORRIBLE!EMILY M.

You can improve your customer service. When I went to pick up the truck I was given an estimated price that I questioned and the person behind the desk told me that it was simple math. To which I replied I am pretty good at math. I can actually handle difficult math. So I talked the math through with the man as I thought it should be. To which he told me "You can go to a different UHaul if you don't want to rent from us." I told him " I don't want to go to a different UHaul. You have trucks and I want to rent one." At that time one of his coworkers came in and was witnessing this and he decided to explain to me why it was more expensive than I thought it should be, His reasoning was because I was 20 minutes early, they were charging me an additional day. So told him I'll go wait in my truck to save that money. Finally and begrudgingly he rewrote the contract so I was charged for the appropriate days. No apology. Handed me the contract and pointed where the truck would be. I had planned to rent a truck for an entire week but because of this experience I found a way to do it without renting. A word of advise to future truck renters: take photos of the gas gauge when you pick up the truck and when you return it, showing that the levels are the same. I had issues at both ends with the levels reported in the computer not matching the gauge as I saw it live. this resulted in my getting a $25+ charge put on my credit card without my knowing about it. The good news is that when I contacted the U-Haul national customer service number and explained the situation the charge was reversed promptly and a credit issued.DAVID F.

The tow dolly was totally un-roadworthy. The attendant was alone and when he went outside to attach the tow dolly, we noticed torn straps for the tires, which could have caused a significant accident during the 13 hour trip. He attached the chain incorrectly causing it to drag on the ground after we left the lot, and we had to attach it correctly. When asked if the torn tire straps were safe, he said â€œOh that's no big dealâ€. It WAS a big deal because the owner of another Uhaul location observed the straps and had to spend several hours replacing them and airing the tires. Horrible experience. On the trip the back light fell of the tow dollar causing us to have to stop and get help from someone with mechanical tape to hold the light on. The trip, as a result took 5 hours longer to arrive at our destination. We are asking for a full refund.WESLEY R.

The guy managing this place is a scammer. After declining the uhaul insurance when I booked online, he added it to my bill without even telling me. When I asked why I'm being charged $25 for insurance I don't need, he said it's not optional. Which is a lie. Avoid this place. Dishonest management. Truck was full of garbage when I got it. Lazy ass management. Advertising $19.95 to rent a truck, cost me $69.14 for using a truck to drive 20 miles over 4 hours. Fraudulent management. No equipment available that I reserved. No help from the customer rep in the store. I had to call customer service who could not help me locate my reserved equipment. I had to drive to another location where my original pick up was confirmed but changed. Once at that location all My reserved equipment was not available. The uhaul cab smelled of cigarettes and was not clean, the customer rep did not come look and check out the truck with me before leaving. My storage facility was not available after a 6 hour trip, no one in customer service could help me get into my storage unit after hours, after the store rep told me I could do an online check in. After scheduling our online reservation for the truck, a dolly, two sets of wheels to move furniture and packages of furniture protectors, we arrived at the location and were told they don't have any supplies. I then called another location in Nashville and the call overflowed to a general number. I spoke to Annette, who ensured me the 2nd location (First Avenue) had the supplies and she took our visa info again. We drove to the First Avenue location and they had one dolly, no carts, no furniture protection pads. Unacceptable! Also, don't add more effort to take a survey. Upload a csv file with a unique ID to your survey software so you're not making a customer type their reservation number and then requiring them to go back to their email to select another survey link. Lots of effort put forth in the past 24 hours for Uhaul. Disappointing. Thank you for following up on the experience. Hoping you can make improvements to your (supplies)inventory tracker.Eric N.

When i picked up my truck i was told it was on empty but i would get a discount for this and to return it exactly how i drove it off. After having my property get wet because the box leaked in the rain im still being charged over $30 for gas. After departed emails explaining why it was returned that way. Overall, the experience was great. Easy and efficient. However there were no handtrucks or dollies available. We had to stop at home depot and rent some there. It would have been easier to just rent from UHaul.ERICK H.

Budget truck rental cancelled out truck reservation the day before our move to Denver Colorado. We walked into our local uhaul store and they took care of us right away with the truck we needed for our move! They where very nice and took care of us.BILLY R.

Please do the rental application/check during the reservation process. When we were trying to get the keys and go as to meet the timeframe set during the application. Much of that timeframe was wasted waiting for the check to be processed. This was an inconvenience, but nothing that would cause me to not use the service. The service was easy to use and effective, this change would simply (in my opinion) expedite the whole process.Colin W.
