We made a reservation online for a 6X12 cargo trailer at a Redmond location and received a confirmation email. We received a voicemail from a U-Haul representative saying that the location we chose does not have that trailer. Next, I received an email saying that an update to our order had been made for a smaller size 5x8 cargo trailer reserved and guaranteed and at a different location Eastgate Truck Rentals. U-Haul made that decision for us without asking. When we arrived on our reservation date, the clerk told us that they didn't have that trailer and didn't have our reservation in their system. The clerk was not helpful with acknowledging the problem or suggesting other choices that they did actually have on-site for rental that day -- she was very defensive and making sure we knew it wasn't her fault, but since that location is a U-Haul rental counter, we were left standing there without the trailer we reserved that we needed for moving that day. Only when we asked about trailers that they had, did they help show us what was available at that time. Luckily, there was an open ramp trailer that we could modify our plans and use. Making a reservation with this company doesn't seem to mean you will get what you need for your job -- the inventory is not up-to-date online for customers to see exactly what is available at which location. Poorly handled.

Tim MI recommend this location anytime, the people there are efficient and kind. However I do not recommend dealing with U-haul customer service itself or the system they use. This is my second time booking and not very happy being bump at time of pickup because of your system error. When tried to call U-haul customer service and stated what happened your person responded like a robot that you could not reason with when trying to ask why my reservation was bump. Your system sucks and your customer service are even worst.
CODY TCons: Same day check in at the counter was a waste of time, not the store persons fault. The computer was very slow. Wasted over half an hour when we could be on our way. Pros: The store owner asked if we completed checkout online and when we said yes he was kind enough to give us the key and on our way. Otherwise we would still be waiting for the computers to work. He also mentioned that since they are open 24 hours as long as the check out order was done online and mobile pick up we can pickup the truck as early as we needed it. That is what you call excellent Customer Service. Another reason we booked again for this coming Saturday. I give this location and store owner 5+ star.

The guy in charge was nice, but didn't really spend the energy and effort to do things like helping with locating and making sure the customer could close the rear door. The truck itself was as manual as you could think of
Edward WThe app wasn’t working when I returned the truck. The employee told me it was fine to just hand over the keys. When I received the truck, it had three-quarters of a tank of gas, and they are charging me $182 for fuel even though I only used about a quarter of the tank.

RODNEY MDon’t recommend this location at all. When I picked up the vehicle, the gas tank had only one line of fuel. I drove it for just 38 miles and returned it to the U-Haul location, which is at a gas station and I was charged $30 for a fuel service fee and $25 for 4 gallons of fuel, totaling $55 in additional charges.
