BRENDA CIf someone could be at the location to help people check into Vehicles it would be wonderful. Checking in with the app was very difficult and frustrating. We met three people there that were very frustrated.

karl cFirstly I received no notification that I had to use the app to pick up my truck at a closed location. I used to get an email with a link to take pictures and rent the truck. I then went to use the app and it said I had to await approval. After being on hold for 40 minutes I was finally approved to get my Uhaul at 10:45 when my rental was starting at 10. That was already frustrating. Then I always dislike having to pay for both mileage and gas. But this time I was charged an extra 21 miles to return the truck. It’s not my fault the closest destination is 21 miles away. I shouldn’t have to pay for return mileage from my unload destination. I just feel like we get charged for everything and uhauls have gotten so expensive the past couple years. I’ve used uhaul for years but it’s getting so expensive now.
Jacob HI wasn’t thrilled with your online check in. It seemed bulky and Inuitive but it was my first time using. Easton Auto Repair is always helpful and they are an asset to UHaul.

Teresa MI had an issue today checking in to get my uhaul as it didn't have the option to click on for picking up and/or checking in. I waited about 10 minutes to speak with someone and even then didn't get help other than to refresh and try again. I finally found a workaround and got it, but it had an empty can of chewing tobacco in the glove compartment. I was trying to go through and note this when checking in but got kicked out of the app, and when I tried logging back in, my notes were gone and my reservation was active. Same thing happened when I returned the uhaul - got kicked out while taking photos of the can being returned and couldn't find it under active or even past when I logged back in. I also reserved it for about 7 or 8 hours and when I picked up, it showed to return earlier than the time I had scheduled. Love the location and being able to pick up after hours, but all those inconveniences were such a hassle and make me unsure of using it again in the future

KaRi WThe vehicle was filthy inside and out. I tried to pick up the vehicle by my app use and I had nothing but trouble, tried calling Uhaul and the wait time was over 20 mins. After 40 minutes of trying to pick up the truck and went through. The process is difficult and not user friendly. Was not happy at all.
Sharon LEveryone at Eastown was courteous and helpful in getting the trailer parked and disconnected and the return completed quickly.
WILLIAM FI thought it was ridiculous that I was charged for three additional miles although my house is directly between the pick up and drop off point. I did not drive the truck any place extra. A cheap move by East Town Auto Repairs.

Jon AMake sure that the vehicles are clean on the inside and the trash is all taken out. Unfortunately my truck was very dirty inside. Otherwise my experience was very satisfying.
Nancy BEastown Auto did a great job. They bent over backwards trying to fix the problem that UHaul created. You folks totally “dropped the ball” on my reservation. I reserved a van and you failed to call me and communicate the fact that there wasn’t one available. In the future, please DO BETTER.

LESLIE DThe alignment was so bad I had to keep the steering wheel sideways in order to go straight. The truck was also pretty dirty, the guy at the pick up place that help me was very nice though.

MIKE HThey put the wrong keys in the lock box. They put the dolly’s in the wrong truck so I had to transfer them over. AND they didn’t include the right dolly’s but I still paid full rate! The Spring Lake Zimmerman location is way better. Easttown auto is not good at all.

Ronald BThe back of the U-Haul had a good size puddle of water in it like someone had washed it out snd never dried it. We had to use a towel to dry the floor before we could load anything. Outside of that I would definitely go back through Eastown Auto to get a U-Haul in the future if I need to move.

TOM HVehicle had extremely rough ride due to improper wheel/tire balancing. This is the third UHaul vehicle that I have rented this year with the same issue. These units need to be better maintained.
Gregory TParking lot is tight for such big trucks.
Kaylal PI rented a dolly and I never got it. Even when I went into the store. They Tried to cancel my whole reservation. The uhaul was beaten up. Bald tires even. Got stuck in my backyard because of the tires and had to call Dicks towing to get us out because Uhaul still wanted to charge me $350 even though I had the insurance on it. Hated my whole experience today. I’ve been using uhaul forever even my parents have their whole life. This 1 experience ruined it

GARY WTruck was dirty inside. Pictures for damage and scratches not updated to show fade and peeling and dents. They just said they were closed for drop off to put keep in drop box. App wanted them in different box.
Michael GCouldn't provide me with an immediate receipt. Would not accept hand written (from real pick-up) notes on my receipt. Charged me for additional gas and mileage. Unfriendly staff. (I never complain but was VERY disappointed in my U-Haul experience)
John MYes, the van I rented was clean but, it was immediately obvious that this van had been smoked in. The smell of cigarettes stayed in this rental even with the AC running and the windows down. I would recommend that the upholstery in the driver and passenger seats be cleaned.
