I returned the van a day early, way under allowed miles, topped off gas as instructed, parked it where I was told to, and they called my family saying they were reporting me to the Sheriff's dept for stealing the van!! It was there a day early!! She claims my phone number didn't work...not true because my family members called me to let me know she called them and said she's calling Sheriff's dept. I AM HUMILIATED AND EMBARRASSED!! I WANT A REFUND

Ken GallowayI politely stated the correct pronunciation of my last name, because she kept saying it wrong. She said it was all the same. I was embarrassed she said that. After a while I was upset. The motorcycle trailer was completely dirty. The connector had dirt and water stuck inside 3 of the 4 contacts. Luckily it didn’t short out my system and blow a fuse. I got home to start putting my bike into the trailer and I find three large screws on the floor of the trailer. They’ve been for a while since they were rusty. There was also trash inside the trailer. One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a while.

cardioso silvioVehicle had a terrible vibration in the front wheels This whole experience was a debacle. I was supposed to pick up the truck in Ft myers but when I showed up, they didnt have my truck I had to drive 62 miles north to get a truck and then drive back to load my stuff. This cost me 3 hours and $300 more for movers and fuel and my time and made it so I had to stay the night before traveling with my stuff. I got a $300 discount on the truck but it did not cover my increased expenses due to a FAILURE on Uhauls part of letting me know that I DID NOT HAVE A TRUCK. I have asked for an additional discount and was refused. I will look to other rental agencies next time. I never have in the past but I am very disappointed. The arcadia location picked up the ball in a huge way and made Uhaul look good. I am grateful for Yvette and Gabriel for their help. Logistics is what Uhaul is all about. These very logistics failed me in a huge way.

Shasta MottThis location was horrible. Sign read U-HAUL where I parked the truck. To return the key, however, there were no signs stating I had to cross the street and go through two buildings to FINALLY find where the key was to be returned. My brother and his wife followed me to the UHAUL location. My sister in law has severe Parkinsons disease and can't be left alone. Thus the reason she was in the car with my brother. As we were en route to UHAUL he called to say she was having a horrible attack of hallucinations and he needed to get her back home immediately. I literally parked the truck and ran to return the key. Unfortunately, as a result of her dilemma, I had no time to bring the tank back up to 1/2 tank as it was when I received it. I explained this to the young man who took the key and he told me not to worry about it. He would explain it to the lady who would be checking the truck in and she'd e-mail me with a receipt. My brother called this morning to say that he received a text from his credit card company stating that UHAUL had charged him over $120 for gas. WHAT? Thiis is the way you treat customers in an emergency situation? I'm so disappointed in UHAUL and while I've used you on several occasions... I never plan on using you again. Please respond with some sort of resolution to this problem. Thank you.
