Jerry SI would not recommend the location due to the condition of the vehicle. I discovered a rust stain on the driveway of my newly purchased home the next morning. The stain was under the engine bay. I called to report it but it has not been resolved and no one has attempted to reach out to me. The drop off location changed from what I selected on my reservation because the agent could not check out the equipment to me without the assistance of their manager located off site due to internet issues. As a result, a change was made that I was unaware of. I am extremely dissatisfied and disgusted that I have a rust stain on my brand new driveway, It sickens me to see it.

Rennie KTruck was dirty on the inside. Picked the truck up at night and there are no lights on the side lot where you pick it up. There is only one small spot to get out of this lot that is barely visible. I took a picture of the gas tank at half a tank and entered it as half a tank but they had it in the system as three fourths tank and charged me an extra one fourth gallon of gas. Don't recommend it

Mark PQuick return and has station on site so if you needed to fill up it's right there and the gas prices were cheapest! Also great little freshly made sandwich bar to grab a bite. The young lady receiving the equipment was very pleasant and helpful.

dave w3 different reservations and 2 were not fulfilled. Was sent three different U-Haul locations to end up at the first original two hours later for a rental that was dirty and no furniture equipment available when it could have all been avoided. Ten minutes into my drive (two and half hours after my origibal reservation time) my service tire pressure indicator comes on. I called to see what exactly that meant and if I could still continue to my destination if all look well with the naked eye. Spoke with Heather at service/roadside who was so unpleasant. Mind you by this point I must have spoken with over 8 different U-Haul team members and unfortunately Heather was no help. Heather spoke over me non stop and was the one who seemed annoyed. Horrible experience that u wish on no one. While i understand things happen I also feel like this could’ve all been avoided had someone verified availability or simple return list. In the end winding yo at the first Lia ruin my first ever reservation was for showed me that the team member did not care the first time I was there because had she cared, I would’ve been notified that a rental was supposed to be returning within a couple of hours etc. There were two super helpful in person team members Brianna and Phylis over in Debary Fl. Kudos to those team meme era for going above and beyond and trying to help me out. Good luck to u haul! I hope you can find great future employees.

Anna ARepresentatives who received my U-Haul and tow, forced me to detach tow from U-Haul Even though I was told that once I get there representatives will take care of the check-in process and help me. Additionally, the representatives who checked me and stated that they would do so and I would receive an email. The next day I didn’t receive an email and I had to go back to the store. Overall, I would never rent a U-Haul from this location as they do not seem to understand what they are doing.

So I was unable to verify the license plate and equipment condition. The representative at this location did not tell me to expect this text. They should let you know so you don't leave without verifying.
Dana HThe attendant was extremely pleasant and efficient. The entire transaction took less than 5 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out. The return was even faster. Everything was positive, and the trailer I rented was in like new condition.

Santos PTruck needed front end alignment badly. Inside cab was very dirty, windows were dirty and had 1/8 tank of gas. Guy at the counter knew nothing about Uhaul had to call someone else to get truck. Guy had zero personality and apparently was never taught how to greet a customer or how to say thank you afterwards.
KYLE MThe Wl Cheapo location was great but the overall Uhaul experience was terrible. The original location that I reserved a truck was permanently closed. It took almost 3 hours and 4 different representatives on Uhaul customer service to get a new reservation.

DAVID SI made a 10 foot truck reservation with nothing extra added. This location intentionally added safemove without confirming with me first and argued that I added it on my reservation.this location clearly doesn't know how to operate uhauls. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

JOSE Pthe truck wasn't clean. dirt in the back. also damage on the outside that needed repaired. I had to wheel the furniture pads from the building out to the truck which was parked quite a distance from the building. they need to improve their service.

The truck wasn't nasty inside but did have some dirt on the floor and drink stains on the cup holders and dash. The truck needs maintenance. The tires vibrated bad at highway speeds and had a horrible brake pulsation when stopping.

CAROLYN BThere is no dropbox at the location for after hours returns even though uhaul site say it accomodate afterhour returns. It was extremely hard to get customer service on the line to assist me with the appropriate place to leave the key. Once I did get someone on the line, he sent an email explaining I could not find the Dropbox. I repeatedly explained there wasn't a Dropbox for me to "find". The return process was bad experience.

Jessica HIf I could give 0 stars for this location I certainly would. The gentleman(and that’s being generous) originally told me he wouldn’t take my return. He stated that he “gave” Uhaul 4 spots and he didn’t have room for my return. I assume he called someone actually associated with Uhaul at the corporate /regional level, because he ended up begrudgingly taking my return. There is another gas station up the road from this location whom I have dealt with previously, and they were amazing. I am not sure why this fantastic location was not a choice for my drop off, as they are a very pleasant 3rd party rental/drop off location. To say that El Cheapo gas SUCKS as a Uhaul rental/drop off location is an absolute understatement. I would NEVER deal with them again, and frankly, they are an embarrassment to Uhaul. They truly acted as if THEY were doing Uhaul a favor by allowing the use of their facility. Again, the location less than 2 miles away on Doyle Road in Deltona is superior in every way. I never write reviews, but the shoddy treatment/customer service that I received from El Cheapo made me rethink that policy. I would strongly suggest rethinking a corporate association with this establishment, but that is merely the opinion of someone who will NEVER use them for my Uhaul rentals or, truthfully, anything ever again.
