The only reason they have uhaul trailers is to transport their race cars. The technician had me connect and disconnect my trailer. They offered no assistance and inspection if lights even worked. They were too busy working on cars (mechanics). This was deplorable. I was also not given ANY contract or paperwork with the trailer. Be safe....have a good day.Timothy B.
Because I've used car carrier units before I had no problem but there should be a bit more info on â€œhow to load and secureâ€. Also there was no additional safety equipment supplied with the trailer. I used my own vehicle tie down equipment to secure the car on the trailer as a back up to the supplied front wheels only straps on your trailer.john C.

No one was there when we tried to drop it off and there was no box for drop off, So I had to go back the next day. Then they charged me for 2 extra miles even though we took my own van down and it was less than 150 Round Trip...So no way the first mileage out was accurate. I explained that to them and they did not care and still charged me even when I HAD TO DRIVE BACK TO THEM AGAIN.Richard L.

This location never checked me in. "Just leave keys in the truck!" Then my credit card is over charged for fuel! Delivered 1/4 tank but claimed 1/8 tank!!!!! Would not be a problem as I had a day to put in more fuel (if this was a fact but it was not!) This location does nothing and does not even answer the haul number when you try to call. May be the reason I cancel my next week haul rental. I would never use this site again!1 A true rip off!!!!!Katherine H.

The person in charge at this location did not care about the paperwork. He gave us keys and said everything was good, because of this, we ended up paying more upon return. We took pictures to cover ourselves because we were uncomfortable but we're in a time crunch so needed the truck. Apparently, he stated that the gas tank was full on computer (which we found out upon return) he never even entered or looked at the truck prior to our take off. The gas tank was only 3/4 full, we returned it with the exact same amount but ended up paying way more in the end :(chris J.

There was no drop box for the key. I called uhaul and they said there should be a drop box because this location has 24hr dropoff. They said to leave the key in the mailbox instead, which we did, at the specified return date and time. But I was charged an extra 2 days because this location didn't register the return until 2 days later.Rohini C.

We were originally scheduled to pick up the reserved truck from a different location but when we arrived the truck was not available. We came back an hour later and were told the truck would not be there "any time soon". We had to reschedule with people who planned to help us pack the truck and drive an hour and a half round trip to get a different truck. The U-Haul representatives we spoke to were not very helpful in resolving the issue. There should be more time scheduled between one drop-off and the next pick-up to avoid hassles like this.CHRISTOPHER L.

The air conditioner on the truck was not working. You were only able to travel 50 miles per hour in the truck because it appeared the wheels needed to be aligned. The person that helped us at Elite was not the friendliest. We had trouble finding the place and it appeared that us calling for directions annoyed him.WANDA L.

I performed an in town move where the truck was 5 miles away and the distance between the houses I was moving was 3 tenths of a mile. Upon finding my "contract" I noticed that they charged me for 110+ miles. I'm calling U-Haul tomorrow but expect that I've just been ripped off for $100 by a multi-billion dollar company.MICHAEL D.

This location was not a U-Haul store, I had ordered online packing rugs and they were not in the truck as I was told they would be so I had to go to a U-Haul store and rent them myself taking precious time out of my packing schedule. If I had known ahead of time I would have picked them up at a more convenient time.Judith H.

i was just totally unimpressed with uhaul all together. i made reservations and was given times and locations that didnt match up to what i agreed with. i had to go all out of my way to pick up the trailer, it was way smaller than i expected and it was dented and crappy looking. i will never use uhaul again for a move like this. very dissapointedJanelle H.

Our reservation was changed to 30 miles out of the way from the original location where reservation was made. At the remote location there was only one trailer parked with grass growing up around it. It had not been inspected prior to our rental. While to person we spoke to was not rude or unfriendly, the customer service was poor.There was no help in hooking it up to our vehicle. Luckily we were able to do so. The chains were in poor condition as one area even had electrical tape on it. I would not recommend this location.MARK M.

The U-Haul trailer I order was exactly what I had asked for, no substitutes and that was great. I had problems with your web site and needed to make arrangements by phone. No big deal, but the site is not there yet. Communication between U-Haul and the customer via email could be better, but that's a minor thought, you are, after all seeking ways to improve your service.JOHN C.
