MARJORIE CNo one was there, this is not what I was told when this was arranged. I was told I would get a discount for going out of my way to drop off and pick up- in my contract and that was a lie. I’m disgusted with this brand and it’s customer service. I tired to get help and was hung up on 5 times- if I wasn’t poor I would get a lawyer and sue …. But that’s what you bank on right!?? Fuck over poor people so they can’t fight back.
BRANDY JThe location felt a little tight, there was a truck parked right next to the passenger side of the U-Haul, so that I could not take a full picture of the side. I don't think it was possible for a passenger to get into the right side without pulling the U-Haul out of the parking spot. However, upon realizing there was not an appliance dolly like requested, I knocked on the business that had a closed sign on the door. A gentleman still answered, answered my request immediately and brought the utility and loaded it up.

The individuals at this location were very helpful and friendly, and I would be happy to work with them again. I am leaving this public review as I reached out to the company with my complaint via email and received no response after over a month.*** I was moving across the country during a heatwave in June, and the truck that I was given did not have functional A/C. I picked up the truck on a cooler day, so I did not notice that the A/C did not work. However, as I started my move and the heat picked up, the non-functional A/C became apparent. While this was very uncomfortable for me, my cats who were traveling with me became overheated (panting/open mouth breathing, which is abnormal for cats). Thankfully, I was near an exit with a truck stop, so I could stop to get some ice to put in bags to cool them off. Had they overheated when I was on a longer stretch of highway without stops, this could have been very dangerous for them. While I should not have been given this truck, I understand that mistakes happen. What I am most upset about is that I reached out to the company via email and over a month later no one reached out to me or even acknowledged my message. That to me is unprofessional.
Joseph FThe fees were alot more then what was mentioned on the app, I went less than 5 miles and got charged with 10 for gas. No problem with that but I wasn't expecting a hold of 99! Still not sure what happened to my other money

James BI would always recommend Elite because it was open at 8:00 a.m. and staffed. U-Haul sent us first to a self-help location. After being on the phone for one hour, we were sent to Elite. What a relief!! Staff was wonderful.
ROBERT RDidn’t know where to park the truck - confusing layout with not much space
Ellie FWe had reserved the truck from June 26-July 1. We got a notice that the truck was ready on June 24 and we decided to pick it up early and pay the extra 2 days. We were unaware that the company changed our drop off date without telling us. We signed the contract thinking the date for the drop off was still July 1.

Kurt FThe verification time-out after waiting 1/2hr to get the truck. To then wait all over again. The Tires did not handle the smallest bit of snow w/o traction control hitting. And then to return it, I had to retake pictures of everything 3x as the web and app kept timing-out or refreshing.
Paige YOnly issue was the trucks lift door, wouldn't stay up by itself. Had to prop it open.
Bruce SMobile pick up process is frustrating-back of my ID failed to load after so many attempts-had to call customer service and when I dropped off also it wouldn’t allow the mobile drop off process so it charges you an extra $20 to do it the next day when it’s not your fault the system didn’t work.

Devon JThe keys were not left in the lock box for our Sunday rental. We were on the phone with customer support for an hour troubleshooting and eventually gave up, and when we went to the location the next day, the man at the desk gaslighted us telling us the keys were in the box. I assume he was attempting to cover his mistake in front of his colleagues. It was ridiculous. Also the customer support on the phone on Sunday told us we needed to go back that location for our redo rental so a $50 rental guarantee (described as a credit for our inconvenience) would be available to us. That was not the case. Also ridiculous. I would have much preferred going to another location for the second attempt. Overall the truck was fine but the customer service across the board was not.
MEGAN BPick up was fairly smooth and truck was clean. Disappointed that this location did not include the items that I had ordered. Made moving more difficult without hand and furniture dollies. U-Haul customer service was fantastic and quick to refund the charges. Would suggest to others going to an actual U-Haul location.

Kristen WTruck’s windshield had bug crap all over it and the fuel wasn’t topped up, making it difficult to return with a matching level. The dash sticker re: tow/haul wasn’t explained at all causing me to operate the truck in less than an optimal fashion.
Gary DI'm confident I parked on the wrong spot to drop off the truck, but there was no other place to park. I did not see any places big enough for the 26ft truck to park. Some actual, larger spots were blocked off by boxes, required you to jump a curb to get to them, and did not seem marked in any way.

Janessa MElite Automotive was excellent and provided great customer service. However, I was called the day before by UHaul National and told that the location I rented the truck from was not available and would have to go to this location to get my truck. That is poor customer service in my opinion.

tyler yI rented this same truck 6 months ago...and the inside windshield STILL hasn't been cleaned. There's some oily substance right in front of the the driver's vision! GEESH!
Debora UIf it had been cleaned (especially since it had been stolen prior to our pickup) I probably wouldn’t have found a meth pipe when I went to put my sons car seat in. Pretty disgusted and shocking that your company is so apathetic to drug paraphernalia left in vehicles.

Stephen GThe location had issues with using 2 different credit cards.I returned to Elite uhaul was called and the number was taken of the second card.The original card was attempted to be charged which was declined due to the fact that the funds were in the second card which has yet to be charged

JONATHAN MI arrived at the location early only to experience problems with the 24-hour check-in service and had to wait until the service agent opened up the door to begin manually checking in. The driver compartment of the truck and the storage areas were absolutely filthy and in unsanitary conditions! Someone even left their COVID mask covering underneath the middle seat. It took my at least an hour to clean and sanitize the truck. Then, Uhaul failed to send me my payment code. This was needed by the movers after their job was completed. I had to call into Uhaul and wait around for 45 minutes until the agent could answer and provide the payment code numbers. This is time that I could have spent driving. I ended up arriving at my destination late and had to pay for an extra day due to the inconvenience of this entire situation. I expect to be compensated.
