First class service! George made everything a very pleasant experience. Moving is stressful but having someone treat you with politeness, friendly and courteous manner was awesome 👏 the whole process from ordering band using the truck was excellent! I would 100% recommend. Electronic booking, receipt etc was also first class! Made the moving day a much more lovely time. My reservation was with a location in Orangeville ON. I received a call at 730 in the morning informing me that my pickup location had changed to another place in Orangeville. No problem! I went to the other location as requested on the day of my reservation. I was told my truck was not available because someone returned it the night before and it was frozen. No one called to let me know this. They just let me come like my truck was available. They told me I could drive 25 minutes to Erin, ON and they would give me the free KM to go pick it up.....so essentially I was working for uhaul. They weren't giving me anything. They should've paid me for my labor. Horrible experience. Added over an hour of driving to my day. Uhaul knows you need a truck on the day you reserved one. They tell you that you can cancel your reservation, but know you need that truck. Terrible customer service. Terrible systems. 0 stars.

Prefer not to receive the rental agreement by email. Prefer receipt in person at time of pickup. Email is more convenient for your procedures, but not streamlined from a customer service perspective for me as a customer.

Great ppl at the store but feel your advertising is misleading. So we rented a small van at $19.95 plus 0.20 cents per litre at 241 kms. So with tax in this should be like $60/70. To my dismay found out I was put into better rate??? Which actually blew the bill up to $106 plus the $25 in gas to fill. Never again will I use uhaul. It's prob in the fine print and I have no recourse for a partial refund but let's test how your customer service is. I'm pissed. John llorente. 647 524-3857 I did speak to Darcy at the Erin store and she explained it to me and Chris was very cool when I picked up the van but again I didn't realize this rate change situation. Need another explanation please

I asked for 2 bundles of blankets, 6 per bundle. I got 11 blankets. The truck. It pulls severely to to the right. Difficult to drive.

I DO REALIZED IT'S A MOVING TRUCK, AND CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE SPOTLESS BUT I THOUGHT IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE CLEANER ,OVERALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.

when setting up the online reservation you should also get all the information required for after hours pickup such as pictures of the license, alternate contact names and numbers. This would greatly shorted the pickup process.

I booked my uhaul weeks in advance to my moving date we were moving from Kitchener to Toronto and I had requested a truck pickup in Kitchener and in all my confirmation emails I received Kitchener as the pickup location and then the day before I move they tell me to pickup in the twin or Erin which is an hour away from me .... it was such a hassle to pick up it ruined our entire moving day schedule because now we had to make extra time to pick up the truck then drive back home to load it up this was very poor on uhauls part and I was not impressed

The pick up of the uhaul was fine....the gas gage was between 6/16 and 7/16...and i drove a total of 27 miles. Upon return i put $15 of gas equialvilent to 15 L of gas. It is about 1 Gallon per 10 miles on a 26 foot truck, which would be more then enough for my return. Upon my return i put the gas in and had it returned above 7/16 of gas. Uhaul checked the gage the following day and for some reason the gas gage was down to 1/4 or 4/16 of a tank and charged me $40 in fuel surcharge. I called explained that cannot be possible and the service peron "George" said there was nothing he can do after speaking with his VP Zach. I adovsed George it was impossible for the gas to go down that much when the truck was only driven 27 miles. When i asvised George and he spoke with his VP that i have a bank transaction showing i put gas at the gas station beside the uhaul the response i received was, "we cant confirm that gas was put into uhaul and could be put into my car". George advised there was nothing he can do, even though ive been using uhaul for years and infact was using uhaul the following day for a trip woth my father-in-law, John Issa. We were able to get the VP Zach number and called and left a voicemail, but he jas not returned our call to date. I think it is completely unprofessional for a big corporation like uhaul to not be able to look at the facts that the vehicle was only driven 27 miles and that im a loyal customer and asking that i should not be charged the additional $40 fuel surcharge when i put in $15 of gas to cover more then i used and paid the $77 for the truck rental etc. Id also appreciate a response to my message and a call back to deal woth this. Thank you

This may be my fault or not. Originally booked online for 8:00 am pick up at Speedvale Ave in Guelph for Saturday June 27 for one way move to Exeter for a drop off. Learned the day before it was booked for 6:00 pm and the location for pick up was 40 minute drive Erin Ontario. Not sure why the location in Erin made first contact when it was booked in Guelph Speedvale location. The caller said let me see what I can do and can do and called back in 5 minutes and said he moved stuff around and we can now pick up at 8:00am. Wasn't made clear that the pick up location changed. Went to Speedvale Saturday am and was told truck was in Erin. Still had the one way booking. Drove 40 minutes to Erin and told no one way that the truck was needed back. It's a 3 hour drive back from my new home in Grand Bend versus a one way drop. I was given blankets and a trolley for free for my troubles and had to make up for a 5.5 hour journey to return the truck. I don't feel things were on the up and up here and that the different locations don't work together and only look after their own locations and equipment. Never again for this company and I will let others know my experience.
