I arrived at 750 am for an 8 am pick up. The lady inside said she was told that there was only one rental book later that day.i would have to wait for the owner to return as he was the only one that could do uhaul rentals. She told us he would be about 20 minutes.we ran across road to pick up a coffee a d use restroom . Returned 10 minutes later went Inside . She says you just missed him he just left to take his kid to school. He will be back shortly but said that he has no rentals booked. So we waited again. When he did finally arrive back he was very rude and almost annoyed we were there. I said I have a rental booked. . He said he new of none I showed him the booking on the phone and he then found it. . He then told me that if I wasn't going to return it to the same location I couldn't have the rental. I said I had planned on returning it to his store again. I was also told that I had to have it back by 8 am rhe next morning as it was booked and I would be charged extra if I want on time . Finally. We get rental truck.26 foot only one I could find withing a 2 hr radius of home. Open truck find a part of a joint on the floorboard ...something spilled on floor mats..sticky brownish liquid all over the cup holder console... I put my drink into the cup holder and and looked at the other spills on the dash.i had already been there an hour and was late to meet my moving crew so I just left after taking photos. The owner was already gone on again before I had the truck started.. As I started to pull out my coffee fell on the floor as the drivers side of the holder was broken and the sping arm didn't hold my coffee..I was unaware of this as the stick stuff on the holder made the arm feel like it was spring loaded . I returned the truck st 1 am did the self checkout. And went to put keys in drop box. No box anywhere . Used the cost feature on uhaul explained no box and sent photos of building. Service rep said oh sorry you will have to.come back when the location is open. Not gonna happen . So I found a safe place to hide the keys and called the store and left a message on their machine with key location. .start to finish I had a 20 hr day. Getting home at 230 am . 930 am my phone rings. It's a girl at the uhaul location. Um wee having trouble finding the keys for the truck. So I said were they not in the drop box? She says we don't have one here. So I asked where I should haven't them and was told well most people come back when we're open .so I said we'll I left you a voice mail with the location of the keys. Oh well um we're having that fixed right now its not working. So I explained they were under the Rubbermaid tote right beside the entrance door . This was their salt bin. Oh ok Thanks. Um how was your rental.?I told her it was filthy .. she says oh .. well were really busy and must not checked it. Sorry.. Great uhaul experience at this location. NOT! I rent several trucks a year. This is by far the worst rental yet. Also the steering wheel had to be held abkut a â…“ of a turn from center for the Truck to go down the road straight.muat have been to busy at the alignment shop to to set the wheel to center when that work was done too...STEPHEN G.

Trailer was booked for Orangeville. Got call only 2 hours prior that it was not available. Needed sweeping out and covered with snow sand ice debris from road making for heavier tow. Had to go to Erin to pick upLarry Z.

I ordered a big truck. When I arrived, I was told I couldn't have it and was given a small one (even though the big one was there). NO explanation was given, no matter how many times I asked. The kid behind the counter was great, but because I didn't get the big truck, I had to make 3 trips, and even then I couldn't finish my move! Not impressed!KIM L.

Not send your customers so far to pick up a truck that they really need, give options if you don't have truck size available near customer give other size as option this was not given to me so had to go all the way out spent a lot in gas and to take it to where I moved is far and the drop off location was also far away from where we moved non in town and location in Woodstock horrible to find with all the road closures what's driving so much that all I filled in gas got used looking for the drop off location. Not impressed with the whole experience and will be adding my review in goggle.CORALIAB A.

Upon pick up, was told not to use 4ways or turn lights on unless we absolutely have to, due to a power drain issue, the radio was also disconnected do to this issue as well... Lopsided drivers seat due to multiple springs missing.. exhaust fumes in cabin while truck was stopped Horrible! Very very un safe vehicle I was given. I have been trying to phone into customer support to speak to someone and I keep getting hung up on! Would love it if a manager called me back ASAP! 519-217-4903Magdalena J.

To pull around the building, there were vehicles in the way which made it difficult to navigate through with the trailer.. Upon dropping it off and doing the same thing, it was then completely blocked off, had to back up come back around againANTHONYNABIL H.

This has more to do with truck mileage. I was a little distressed to find a trip to Grimsby and back from Erin would consume $65 worth of gas but that is what it took to get the gauge back to the starting point. This was with the 15' truck.Laurence L.

Originally looked online for utility trailer, gave address as 2nd line mono Orangeville (519) 942-2073 Drove out to address, no uhaul location at this address. Today on website this location is not listed anymore Phoned uhaul central for location that had utility trailer available, made reservation for Erin location. When we arrived the trailer was not present told â€˜the boss has it out it will be back in approx 30min'. Not wanting to wait phoned Guelph locations arranging for another trailer in Guelph asked why we couldn't use the trailer that was parked in back at Erin location. We did Tried to call 152 East Dr Bramalea to get after hours access code. Never answered phone, business hours online said closed at 7pm, we started calling at 530pm. Because on hold so long talked to uhaul central and they said they would try to contact Bramalea location to call us back. No one ever did, we had to wait til Sunday morning to go empty our storage unit.CANDY-LOU B.

The truck had a power steering leak I need to get some fluid but saying they I was reimbursed for that but nothing off the rental there should have been something for me needing to deal with that kind of problem. You should see the mess it made all over the road and driveway. Wasn't happy about that.MARK H.

Location itself was fine. But the uhaul experience was absolutely terrible. I was called and told two days before my moving day that even though I pre booked a truck 6 weeks in advance I could either have a truck 10 feet shorter and 45 minutes away from me or the right size and an hour away. Why have booking allowed? If uhaul waits until 2 days before to locate trucks, than only accept bookings two days out. I also booked a truck I could leave at a closer place which also wasn't allowed. Horrible experience, terrible customer service and quite honestly the senior management that approved this type of business model should go back to intern work.Juozas S.

Because the trailer wasn't maintained properly the rear right tire caught on fire 🔥 on the highway. It was such a bad experience waste of time $$$Radha I.

On this particular unit, it was too heavy for one person to lift and the brakes jammed; thankfully when I was returning it. I have a larger problem; not with Erin facility but with U-Haul corporate and the way this rental was handled. I'd like to air that concern to whom it may concern. The box got shipped out a week after we were told it was going to, so it arrived a week later than we planned. The manager blamed us for the delay in the shipment even though we always met timelines they provided. The trailer was frozen to the ground and broken, so we had to spend an hour with one staff that was helpful to try and fix it but the manager clearly did not care and conveyed that it was our problem to deal with.melaine C.

Moving is stressful but having someone treat you with politeness, friendly and courteous manner was awesome 👏 the whole process from ordering band using the truck was excellent! I would 100% recommend. Electronic booking, receipt etc was also first class! Made the moving day a much more lovely time. My reservation was with a location in Orangeville ON. I received a call at 730 in the morning informing me that my pickup location had changed to another place in Orangeville. No problem! I went to the other location as requested on the day of my reservation. I was told my truck was not available because someone returned it the night before and it was frozen. No one called to let me know this. They just let me come like my truck was available. They told me I could drive 25 minutes to Erin, ON and they would give me the free KM to go pick it up.....so essentially I was working for uhaul. They weren't giving me anything. They should've paid me for my labor. Horrible experience. Added over an hour of driving to my day. Uhaul knows you need a truck on the day you reserved one. They tell you that you can cancel your reservation, but know you need that truck. Terrible customer service. Terrible systems. 0 stars.EVANCARY W.

Prefer not to receive the rental agreement by email. Prefer receipt in person at time of pickup. Email is more convenient for your procedures, but not streamlined from a customer service perspective for me as a customer.ERICR S.
Great ppl at the store but feel your advertising is misleading. So we rented a small van at $19.95 plus 0.20 cents per litre at 241 kms. So with tax in this should be like $60/70. To my dismay found out I was put into better rate??? Which actually blew the bill up to $106 plus the $25 in gas to fill. Never again will I use uhaul. It's prob in the fine print and I have no recourse for a partial refund but let's test how your customer service is. I'm pissed.
