geethanjana rEmployee at “hotel” where pick up was literally took my money and handed me key. Trucks were in the way back parking lot and I had to go find my own. No dolley. Truck was unlocked. Then I come to find out she didn’t have my correct drop off location and now they are trying to charge an extra $600!!! Gas was on empty!! Didn’t get any confirmation of anything!! This was after trying to pick up day before as I had requested only to get there and be told equipment wasn’t ready! 😡😡
Amy JThe lights on the tow trailer are not working. I asked at the reception about replacing the trailer because the tail lights are malfunctioning. However, they informed me that they cannot do so since the trailer is already assigned to me by U-Haul. Despite this issue, I am still happy and satisfied because I was able to work with U-Haul, and it's the only location in Calgary that operates 24/7. I managed to complete my work at night while my children were asleep.
Volodymyr KInstead of returning my $60.00 back to me via debit, the individual at the desk told me it was going to be mailed out from head office because that was the only option that came up. Would not allow me to see the computer screen for myself. They also had a debit machine. Very disgusted.
TRACY HOur order for pick up was arranged to have rental blankets included, and the location did not have any and did nothing on our behalf to get any or direct us to where we could. Time to checkout of this location was very long.
Kevin LWorkers were good enough. The U-Haul terminal not being online for me to pay with debit, when I was told specifically by the man I booked through that it would be fine, was a little more than inconvenient.

Abdallah APlease have accurate inventory of dollies and furniture pads. It was very inconvenient when you expect the items you rented ahead of time to be unavailable.
Lawrence UThe trailer had a bunch of saw dusts and metal filings all over inside along all the edges when I picked up the trailer. I returned the trailer swept and actually washed inside and out at the truck wash before the return. The guy connecting the trailer didn't know how to properly attach the chains and I had to show him how to connect them and what to do with them being as long as they were.
Becky BThe location was a little difficult to find however, the staff there were exceptional. They’re absolutely the best helpful people I have met in a very long time however, the equipment that I rented was absolutely filthy and could certainly use some major improvements on the cleanliness.
Feddo OWhere to begin, I had to extend my rental a few times. And in doing so didn't have an issue until the last extention. The app kept coming up with an error. And I thought nothing of it i would try the next day. The next day comes and my rental details are gone from the app. This all happend on a Tuesday uhaul did email me that morning I didn't see the email until late afternoon. I called as soon as I saw the email and was told they were having system issues and I could pay the one day when I returned the unit that night. That conversation took place at 4:36 pm they sent uhaul staff to the truck at 5:18 pm and took the truck. Which caused all sorts of issues as you can imagine. Once everything was figured out a day later I was told I could re rent the unit I just needed to remove a few things and take it back to the location I rented from which was approximately 5 miles away. Uhaul wanted to charge me at first for 400 miles they reduced it to 248 miles and of course I declined. This all steamed from a lack of communication and a broken app. Talk about stressful driving to multiple locations trying to locate this truck because according to uhaul they hadn't recovered it... Just to find it at one of there locations.

Youssef EI booked a one way trailer rental (for one day), but I believe it automatically lets you keep the rental for 3 days. My intent was to return it the same day, and get it to this location because it was open 24/7, so we got there around midnight to return the trailer. On return (and over the phone when I called) the attendant said “but it says here you’re supposed to return it on Tuesday”. “You’re returning it early”, as in why are you returning it early?? And in person, he repeated, “but it says you are supposed to return on Tuesday, why are you returning it today?” He said this a couple times. It just made it feel like it was an inconvenience to him that I was returning the trailer “early”. Like essentially questioning why I was returning it when I was returning it. It just didn’t make me feel great about returning my rental at this location, it seemed like an inconvenience to UHaul that I was returning it at midnight, at a 24/7 location.

Samantha MThe guy at the counter is very friendly, the truck was dirty, the padlock of the tow was broken, I put gas in it and they still charged me $44 extra.
Carlos LAlso lack of signage at the drop off location since it's just a hotel building. I would probably have missed it again (like the pick up location, if there weren't so many uhaul trucks parked around it). Overall I think uhaul needs to have more signages.
jane cHotel that is the drop off location was VERY run down, intimidating looking, and is a hotel with residents who rent low cost long term or by the hour (if you know what we are trying to imply) or you would visit to purchase anything illegal. We were grateful we were dropping off during the day and not after dark.

Passy MThey gave me the wrong truck at first then when I was about to leave called my cell and had me come back inside only to wait another 30 minutes while they gave me another truck. Then I went outside and the truck had damage and no gas, I couldn’t log into the app to report as they already sent me a link for a different truck so I went back inside and they gave me another truck which again was missing fuel, the link was still wrong and the plate and truck didn’t match. I called customer service and only got ahold of someone an hour later after I was already home… if uhaul didn’t have a monopoly on truck rental business I would be worried for you….
