Everything was Perfect until there was NO LOCKBOX and no EMS Rental Car place or person or lockbox or any place to put the key at the drop-off location. I tried to call U-Haul customer service and received a call back an hour and a half later. I tried to chat online with U-Haul, and it never went through. So I didn't know what to do with the key to the 15-foot truck I had rented and was responsible for returning. I wasted an hour anxious and worried, not knowing what to do, and finally decided to park the truck on the street and lock the key in the truck. Totally unacceptable. Call me to discuss - 858.414.7369. I cannot take responsibilty for what happens to your truck when there was no drop-off location.

The cabin reeked of smoke and the truck was wedged in between another uhaul truck and a truck that parked behind. The lock was also very difficult to get off and it was not in a nice area. Side of the street around a corner with cars going fast.

Andrew M.There was no information that this was a "24/7 pickup" only location. In other words, there was no store front and the uhauls were just parked on the street. I was only given an address and thought I couldn't find the location. I had to call uhaul multiple times to get the phone number of EMS, which wasn't provided originally. Only then did someone tell me that a store front doesn't exist. This needs to be provided up front to manage expectations.
