They did not put the Dolly inside the truck, and they were closed at this time. So I left with the dolly that I already paid.
Karim HIt would be good to know where the keys are located. This is not clearly stated during the check in process. Seeing as the van was parked in an alley, not in close proximity to an obvious u-haul location, we spent a lot of time looking for the "black box by the door" and it was nowhere near the car door. It turned out it was in a black box by the door of a mechanic's business. This wasted time of course, we had to restart a few times because of accidentally pressing back and it took us out of the page entirely.. we also didn't know in advance that at the checkout we'd be expected to take photos with different views. Usually when renting a vehicle we give the odometer and the keys. We did take a photo of the odometer, and then returned the keys and started checking out... to find out we needed to take more photos. This also took extra time and caused some stress. This process should be outlined in advance because there is no one from u-haul doing this work - we are effectively doing the work that usually a company employee would do. We should be given a discount for doing self-service at this point. An older person would never be able to manage this on their own.
Ewa GI couldn't be more angry and disappointed at U-Haul De Saint-Jacques-déménagement Et Entreposage located at 7350 Bd de Sainte-Anne de Bellevue, Montréal, QC H4B 1T4. Although I had reserved a 10 foot truck almost a month ahead, a few days before June 1st, my moving date, the people at this center called me asking me to cancel my reservation as they cannot offer me a truck regardless of the reservation being confirmed a few weeks before, but I refused to do so as they could not offer me any replacements on the same day morning. After getting to the center at 7 AM on June 1st, two other families and I founded out that the center has not activated the "after hours access" for us to pick up the truck. So after calling the customer service, I was redirected to another center at North of the Montreal around half an hour away and a 20 foot truck was my only option. Due to the second center being located at the utmost northern part of the city while I moved to a southern neighborhood, this increased my mileage drastically. Also, a 10 foot truck was enough for me. So, with the increase of the mileage and a big truck which was almost empty while moving, I request U-Haul for a partial reimbursement of the money I paid due the center of Saint Jacque's unbelievably bad management of their customers.

Rafik BVery dirty location and very bad service. Also, I was charged 75$, but when I booked online it said I would have to pay 45$. I respected the times and the mileage so no reason to change my bill. I do not recommend at all
JOANNA NWhat an absoloute mess and horrible experience trying to pick-up the u-haul at ENE Auto Vente. Dave needs to change his password, stop lying to customers and maybe retire since he clearly doesn't want to work and is overall unpleasent. Hope he feels super super fulfilled in his private life since he doesn't give a fuck about his work one (which I'd usually support if this wasn't so bad it felt like I was on some kind of sitcom that needed a laugh track because what what THAT????!!!!!!!!!!) You all also OVERCHARGED ME FOR SUCH SHITTY SERVICE (took $150 instead of $130). Hope you close or change your attitude! I feel sorry to the manager of UHaul, who was our MVP but still damn, must suck having employees who couldn't care less.

En début de location je n’ai pas nécessairement le temps de courir les Stations services pour faire le plein en particulier lorsque je dois attendre 30 minutes pour être servi parce que la personne responsable des locations est absente. J’ai donc reçu le camion près de 1h plus tard après avoir eu à attendre à Nouveau pour que le représentant voit de lui même que le niveau d’essence est à 1/8 Vous ne devriez pas remettre un camion sans essence et sale
ALAIN CMy reservation was transferred by UHaul to another UHaul rental, 2 hours before picking up the truck. This rental was further away and more difficult for me to reach. Unlike the other location, the office was closed. I was forced to use the UHaul app on my iphone, which took me about 30 minutes to pick up the vehicle and an hour to return it. Pretty awful experience. On top of that, it added about 25% (16 km) in km and related fees.
Patrick MTheir is only 1 person at this branch who was not attentive at all. Also, I made the reservation for 24 hours but the same guy called me 3 hours ahead of time and started yelling to return the van because there was another reservation which was very upsetting because my reservation was not over yet. Also, the agent handed over the van key to me approximately after an hour of my reservation because he was too busy elsewhere. Upon reaching the van I found out that there was snow brush or snow shovel and van was full of snow and was also stuck in snow. I went back to the Uhaul agent and asked him for it to which he said that he doesn't put these accessories in Uhaul rentals although he had a bunch of them in his office. I told him that other Uhaul provide these items but he refused saying that no Uhaul provide these items. I am really upset by this experience and by this was my worst ever experience on Uhaul. This is just the summary of the day.

JAMES SThis location overcharged me on gas. When I called and stated the problem, the owner did not want to fix, I had to call Uhaul and get fixed. I am disappointed with this location as I felt like it was trying to scam me.

AARON JWorst customer service i have ever received. I Will be calling u haul to report this location and explain my terrible experience. I reserved a truck for 1:15. The manager keeps calling me every 45 minutes to stall me telling me he doesnt have the truck. At 4pm I finally loose my patience and decide to go to the location. There is another truck parked but the manager tells me i can’t have this one. So I am left the dry on my moving day while all my stuff is waiting in the street. The manager was not human, not understanding and made me feel like I was the bad Guy when I had made a réservation at 1:15pm!!!! He finally accepted to give me the Keys of a truck at 5 after I waited 1 hour and a half at his location. He told me i had to bring it by 6, max 6:30. I had 1 hour to move. He also asked me to leave him 200$ as a deposit which I refuses. His wife was his the office all along listening to loud music. Overall, this person shouldn’t be allowed a u haul location.

SAM KYou have to bring back everything at the same spot (at your expense). The guy was 1 hour late and the dolly i had rented a week ago wasnt there at all. I had to take another small one that was not what we needed.
PIERRE EWas an horrible experience. Give us a 15" even if I ordered a 20". I was on phone at 7am because I cannot log in into my account for start my trip but the support applicatif agent do the minimum and didn't take my problem seriously. Finally it was a major outage and I was able to take my truck around 10am without all my previous order inside the truck. No promotion was applied to not be able to give me what I suppose to have. The manager and the garage's employee was really nice, this is the only good thing I have to say. Didn't recomand at all your company.
eve pNothing about the location but I could not use the app to pick up the truck, I had to use a browser. The app, should be more intuitive. I wasted at least 15 minutes to be able to get everything going. Thank you, -ck
CHRISTIAN KThis is the second time in a row I have had a bad experience with UHaul (I always give people a second chance). I reserved a van for pick up at 8am with mobile check in. When I arrived and began the check in. Your app said it was manual check in and I had to come back at 9am because the station was closed. So I came back. I was just 2 minutes late and the guy at your station told me to hurry up because he had to leave to do other things. When I arrived, I explained what happened - that I had arrived at my reserved time and done everything I was supposed to do. He got angry and blamed me for delaying him and got upset because I didn’t sign in by mobile and pre-populate all the information. Also, the van had a check engine light which concerned me. Your guy acknowledged this but said it was ok to drive. I had no choice given the moving work I needed to do. The rest of the rental experience was fine - driving the van, returning it by mobile and dropping the keys. Since this is the second terrible experience I have had, I decided to never use uhaul again. I told family and a few friends already what happened and told them to avoid uhaul because of the bad service and risk. Just yesterday, I had to rent another van. I went to Enterprise. They were very nice and helpful even helping me beyond their office hours.
Michael CVery easy and friendly transaction. Van I rented was clean with only 6000km on it. I highly recommend that you pre-check in and upload photos of your drivers license to expedite the process. Took me literally only 5 minutes to get the keys.

Doko BHad a reservation for 5:45pm, the wife tells me the husband is not here and he will complete the paper work and give the truck. The husband comes 15 mins later and i end up leaving the location around 6:05pm. The person did not tell me where to return it, so i brought it to his garage and he told me no i have to being it back where i took it from which was on the street (regular parking) which was packed so i brought it to his parking lot. I asked him to Atleast take a look at the car for gas and do the check and he refused to and argued to park it on the street. Very unprofessional, unpunctual and messy location.

Naresh PHave snow and ice removed, do not ask the customer to do it , took me almost half an hour. Canadian winters are cold, but be professional and go check the truck with the customer before and after instead of telling them to take pictures. Do not do the return documentation by yourself after the customer left mentioning he didn’t fill up the tank full, when he has pictures he did fill the tank full.

ABDULLHAFED AMy recent experience with Uhaul has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. The truck they provided us with was incredibly old and emitted smoke throughout the entire rental period. It was not only inconvenient but also a major safety concern. To make matters worse, upon returning the truck, I was charged a whopping $80 for fuel, despite the business owner assuring me that I could bring it back at the same level it was rented. This unexpected charge felt like a complete betrayal of trust. Furthermore, it seems that Uhaul has a penchant for applying hidden fees. These undisclosed charges only served to add insult to injury and left me feeling like I had been taken advantage of. Overall, my experience with Uhaul was nothing short of a nightmare. I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this company for their moving needs. The old and smoke-filled truck, the deceptive fuel charge, and the hidden fees have left me feeling like my hard-earned money was stolen.
Mehdi BOffice was filled with either cigarette or incense smoke and was not clean. There were piles of junk everywhere. Was initially charged for insurance even though I declined when I reserved. I was then pressured to take it. Then when I returned I was verbally told a total that still had the insurance on it and the rep made an excuse that it was a charge for not having cleaned the vehicle and that I needed to specify everything that was wrong with the vehicle when I picked it up.
