The cashier initially charged me $31000 for only 78 KM :( I had to speak with the manager and get clarification why ??? I honestly did not have a good experience and spent alomost 1/2 hr to get my issue resolved

This was the worst customer experience I have had and will most likely impact my decision to use a UHaul in the future. Upon waiting 45 mins before I could talk to the staff, due to the backup of rentals, it was then another 15 mins before i was able to get keys. My original rental vehicle was not available. My original rental was not on time. My alternate rental cost more. My alternate rental was required to be back in a shorter time frame (1.5 hours instead of 4). My alternate rental was a different vehicle. My alternate rental loading area was a mess as was the driving cabin. My alternate rental was also completely empty of fuel and required me to fill up before I could use it. No fuel credit was discussed or mentioned and I was told to return the vehicle in the same state I was given it. The staff argued that the rental system wasn't working. The staff said they did not understand why / how people were able to book vehicles that they did not have. However the online system said that the rental was guaranteed. When asked about the UHaul $50 "Reservation Guarantee", I was met with blank stares and told to reach out to UHaul directly with my complaints. This is a mess on so many levels that rather than try and argue, I took the alternate vehicle and didn't bother with any additional discussion during the pickup or drop off process.

The app demanded I take a picture of the roof of a cargo van.. someone should try and do so, fall off and sue uhaul. How do you expect someone to climb on the roof of a slippery van. When I skipped the photo I received a somewhat threatening message that I would be responsible for any damages found (I took all the other pictures uhaul requested). The van was dirty, the steering wheel was griming and sticky, there was food waste, and leaf litter. The location was unkempt, I have to pull the van away from waste high weeds to take the pictures. The gas level was not accurate. I was told there was 9/16 when there was barely half. Would not recommend.

I booked a ford transit and didn't receive it, instead had to drive one of the GM vans ... those GM vans don't have Bluetooth and its something i needed for this trip, what's the point of me calling ahead of time and making the reservation when it doesn't seem to matter.

Tried to tell me I needed to fill the truck to FULL to return . Contract explicitly with picture in colour showed 5/8 was needed . Mid stream stopped helping us to serve others in store . Obviously U-Haul was not his first priority !

I had booked online. When I arrived I asked to bring the truck back to the location instead of leaving it in Kitchener. They happily accommodated and adjusted the return time and adjusted the rate. I rented the 10 foot and have not driven a better U-Haul truck! I've driven a few!! The return was fast and easy. Will definitely recommend this location for your truck rental needs!

I don't think anyone can ask anymore of the staff, unless you pay them more. They already go above and beyond, both employees were awesome. Best U-Haul experience in my life, and I would definitely recommend and use again.

Drop off was easy. I used the website instead of downloading the app. Esso staff person there took my key and checked the truck again as I was leaving. Easy drop off. Lots off space to park the truck.

The man I dealt with at the front counter was horrible. Rude, dismissive and uneducated about the U-Haul policies. I will never be using U-Haul again because of this.

Cargo van rented had dead battery. Was offered a cube can which was appreciated. Charged for 6L of gas despite returning vehicle with same fuel level as when it was rented. Person at the location did not check the gas or mileage upon my departure.

It is a family owned and operated business and it was a pleasure dealing with Virender (owner) for Uhaul pick-up and then Dhruv (attendant) for drop-off. Virender was polite and respectful throughout the entire process and answered all my queries. Overall it was a satisfactory and pleasant experience and I recommend their services to everyone.

No Uhaul sign anywhere. This was a car repair shop with a tiny sign on the front door in a corner. I only knew Uhaul was near because there were more trucks around.

It took an hour to get the truck I reserved a month prior. I'm not sure of the clerk didn't know how the computer worked or if the system was down. He had to phone another clerk to come and help him. In any case, there should be a paper system for when the system is down. There should also be better training for those U-Haul dealers.

First truck we were given had damage in the top part of the truck, letting water leak into the cargo portion, causing a puddle to form. We asked to use a different truck they had there that was the same size and after calling customer service we were able to do the switch over. The guy at the counter also took about 1.5 hours to set up the reservation from start to finish. I saw that the contract said in town when I needed an out of town drop off, and he lied/had no idea what he was talking about and said I could drop it off at any U-Haul location and to not worry about what the document said. It was my first time using U-Haul and knew that dropping off at different locations was something U-Haul did so I didn’t think there was any reason to not believe him. This caused an entire ordeal resulting me needing to be on the phone for hours sorting it all out unless I wanted to be charged 2-3x the regular amount from dropping it off at the wrong location. Incredibly frustrating experience that’s left me wanting to avoid U-Haul if at all possible for the future.

The staff who processed my truck rental was unhelpful and took over 30 minutes to do it. In the meantime, he interrupted his time with me to process more than 5 other transactions, further delaying me. It was hugely inconvenient as I had hired movers to help me who were then stuck waiting until I could get the truck. I was also charged for furniture pads which I had included in my order but were not actually available at the location. He told me to drive to the main uhaul location which added additional miles to the truck, and when I got there I was told I would need to pay again for furniture pads even though I had a receipt showing I had already paid for them. Also, when I did get the truck, while it was visibly fairly clean, it smelled very strongly of pee and it was obvious that it had not been properly cleaned beforehand.

Even though I had set up everything on the app, I basically had to do the process in store again. Also, I had wanted 6 blankets and they didn’t have them, so not sure if I got billed that .i kinda wanted blankets to protect my couches that i was moving, so not happy about that.

a little bit Mickey Mouse- could only help me between customers filling up at the pumps. Like most uhauls I've driven, the front end is very loose and out of alignment. This 20-foot truck used a lot of gas (at least 30 litres per 100km). Also annoying how tank was 5/8 full and you have to return it 5/8 full...should just be full / full!

An absolute nightmare. I asked the Agent to measure to interior walls. He told me a number exceeding my needs but forgot to tell me about the wheel wells which reduced the space to beyond useless. I didn't receive any hard copy receipt, or ownership/registration ID until hours later when I got home. The odometer records mileage making the conversation to Kms difficult estimating to replace the amount of fuel consumption awkward. I estimated what I thought was correct only to find I was out by approximately $.75. Whereupon, the Agent charged me $14.99 for not returning the truck with the correct amount. Will I ever use U Haul again; NEVER! FYI The Agent was friendly and accommodating.

The device to make payment needs to be replaced. The process to pay was EXTREMELY LENGTHY. Adding that time to stressful moving day with workers waiting was not helpful. You need to replace your digital devices and payment machine.

there is only one way in and one way out of this location due to being on a regional highway therefore cannot make a left turn out of the parking lot and as such, it means driving through other businesses parking lots and pedestrian zones creating a dangerous situation for citizens and the driver who is driving this vehicle for the first time
