no was there to let me know about the truck I had to call back to the regular office to gain access, someone in the background was very rude I heard them, i stood outside at the location on 4254 fun Dulac and was very cold for 30 minutes when I got the combination for the truck, it was full of garbage,2 trash Bags. full I never had that happen before so I was surprise, I still like U-Haul but they need to check their equipment more closely, thank you for your service

STEVINA SI did mobile pickup. There was poor service in the area there was no one around for help and the equipment I ordered wasn’t with the truck. The truck was dirty.

Essence WWhen I first went there, there was no-one available to help me and I was told to come back later. Severa hours later when I returned around 5 PM there still was no one available. I was told to call the number on the window and after multiple attempts and being hung up on, I finally was able to reach someone and was told that it would be 15 minutes before he could arrive. I sat outside and after about 20 minutes the person called me to ask where I was even though I was sitting outside their shop. When I went in the guy was eating food and trying to help me while he ate. He was helpful but it was not professional. Everything was done on my phone, and I noticed the $15 insurance coverage was already included (I intended to get it, but it should not have been checked). I thought the guy told me I had the truck until 11am the next day. The next day I turned the truck in at 12:30 pm (admittedly an hour and half late, since I thought it was due at 11 am) and handed the keys to the worker who requested them (I also made sure I took pictures of the truck). 2 hours later I get a call from a woman at U-haul asking me where the truck was and that it was supposed to be back at 11pm the night before. I was baffled. I told the lady it was parked on their lot where I got it and that I gave them the keys (they only had 2 other trucks on their lot, how could they miss it?). She being snarky said, "Well I called them before calling you and I don't know cause I'm not there." She then said she would call them again and I never heard back from her. When I got my final receipt, they had charged me for 2 days rental and 2x the insurance coverage. Honestly, this was my worst experience with them and terrible customer service.

LAURA AHad four plows left in truck I had to wait a hr before getting the Keys due to the guy not being there They also used my debit car for gas once I gassed up and put right back it was Got receipts and pics to prove it Please don’t go there No respect No class And just better off going to a REAL U-HAUL ESTABLISHMENT

Haleema AI pulled up to the address and all I saw was one u-haul truck parked, no real parking lot, no signage designating where to drop off the car. I was trying to figure out if I was actually at the right place when a young man comes from around the back of the building and tells me I can “give him the keys”. The young man had nothing on that even indicated he was affiliated with U-Haul so I asked him where the drop off box was. He became irritated and walked away. Next the owner came out and said his son told him to come “tell this lady to just leave the truck”. I explained to the owner that I just pulled up to a location and a young man with a durag on tells me to just “give him the keys”. Since I am the one that financially responsible for this truck, I’m either dropping the keys in a box or someone is processing the return and giving me a receipt. The whole time me and the owner are talking, his son was in the back scowling. The fact I was made to feel like I was causing a problem by not just handing the keys to some random person with no credentials still pisses me off. The young man - although I’m sure is hard worker - needs to grow leaps and bounds in customer service. The owner really should spend more time educating his son on proper customer service interactions instead of trying to check a customer on his son’s behalf. Would never recommend this location to anyone, my husband was pissed at how the young man interacted with me. I can only imagine how the owner and his son would have treated me if my husband had not pulled up right behind me.

Chanel MHad a wonderful experience with the young man that was helping me out. Nice location as in almost made me want to get a haircut lol very knowledgeable and explained it very well to me for me to understand everything went as smooth as I expected besides that I didn’t realize 20 miles comes faster than you would think so by far being there I didn’t know this location was a U-Haul. I would rather deal with these mom and pop places, then going to a corporate office where the lines are out the Ying yang.

Tequila CWhen I picked up the truck, there was garbage in the back. The gas tank was less than half full so I had to go fill it up before I could start using it. They had no pads at the place so he sent me to another U-Haul place to get the pads I paid for. Then a couple of days later, someone was trying to order items on the credit card I used at this dealership. He took a long time checking me out with the truck and instead of swiping my credit card he hand typed in my credit card numbers and it took like 5-10 minutes. My cc usually never leaves my hand so I know he stole my cc numbers since this is the only transaction where I didn’t swipe the card myself. I’m very upset since I now have to spend a lot of changing my auto pay withdrawals for when I get my new credit card.

John SCustomer service wasn’t good improvement with checking gas and mileage and communication with each other from site to site l pay at one site and pick up at another no one was there waited about 20 minutes to get the truck overcharged me l put 30 dollars in gas l should have gotten my money back and less charge for gas Of 130 dollars

Bishara AThe location was great - the app was terrible. It took me a half hour to get into the truck, and then a half hour to check it in, because the app was buggy. I would use this site again - I would try to avoid using the app.
Chris NI did not add coverage when making the reservation but the guy add on there without me knowing and took a bit for us to get going. The amount that was charged was incorrect.
