The truck was a typical UHaul truck. But their customer service really screwed me over. I reserved a 17' truck and 2 dozen moving blankets. The next day, I got an e-mail saying they didn't have a 17' truck, but would a 15' one be OK. I called and said Yes, that's OK. Then, when I picked the truck up, the employee says "we don't have any moving blankets, so I'm taking that charge off your bill" No apology or anything. And now what am I supposed to do for a move that needed to happen that day? Why didn't they tell me this when they asked if a smaller truck was OK? As a result, we had to improvise our padding/cushioning of things, and a 60-year old dresser got seriously scratched. If they had just told me when I placed the reservation, I could have done something about it (reserved a truck from another location, or bought/rented blankets from somewhere else).Richard W.

The receipt from Chatworth said this location was open at 7am for dropoff. It is open at 8am so wasted time until they opened. Not the location's fault, was Uhaul's fault for not having the updated info.Susan S.

Make sure it's clear which direction the lock must be pulled to open, and that some force may be neededMatthew P.
The truck in order to drive straight, The steering wheel had to be turned halfway to the left and when you needed to turn right you would put the steering wheel back to straight. Going over 60 or 65 miles an hour on the highway the truck had a major sway while having the steering wheel turned.Devin C.

Did not honor / fill my furniture pad order. They were not apologetic. I had to search elsewhere for pads. They should have honored my order. Or they should have gone to another site to get my order. The check-in and check out processes were not good. Location services on my iphone failed and this is the first time locations services has not worked. I was not prompted to record the mileage or fuel lever and I was not happy with similar failures at checkout.Michael S.

The truck I rented had a wheel baring problem and I had to switch trucks midway through the trip. The road side assistance team was AMAZING. Things happen so I am not upset. But how you handled it was great.Brenton B.

Give him a clean vehicle with clean windows something that doesn't smell like farts inside and doesn't need to have the oil changed and doesn't make all kinds of noises when it's just sitting there running it would be nice if it was cleaned out before they rent them😌cyndi E.
I had a call from uhaul on 4/21 to confirm the rental and dolly and furniture pads and I myself called again on 4/22 to confirm the rental equipment and was told that it was at the location. When I went to pick up the rental in 4/23 the dolly and furniture pads were not on site. Extremely disappointed. Especially since I was told that my pick up location was round trip 1 hour driving time vs the location I originally reserved at was 7-10 min away. Lastly I called and reported my complaint and it is now 4/26 and still have not had any follow up calls from uhaul management !Bharati B.

I was rescheduled three times in three different locations before I was given a location that had the trailer I rented. That was not a good experience. However, it was not the fault of Excalibur Rental. I got the run around from Uhaul.Frank B.

Make sure all safety lights work properly, make sure ramp is secured and all equipment ordered is on the truck. Be helpful in finding locations for a piece of equipment not provided that was on the order. Be considerate in refunding issues.Ashleigh B.

After I completed the online reservation and check-in, I received an email from Uhaul stating that I would need to get my vehicle's hitch inspected by Uhaul before I would be allowed to take possession of the trailer. I called the Parker franchise where I had my reservation, and the guyI talked to said they weren't qualified to inspect my hitch; I would have to find another Uhaul franchise to get it done. This would have meant driving 30 miles round trip. I called the other facility, and they were perplexed as to why they Parker franchise couldn't handle checking to see whether my brakelight wiring works...? She recommended I just show up and get my trailer. When I got to the Parker store, I didn't say anything about the email I'd received, and sure enough, the guy who hooked up the trailer checked my lights and waved me out the gate, no problems. Good thing I listened to the rep at the other store and not the guy I talked to on the phone at the Parker store! Might be a simple training issue. The trailer exterior was covered in mud and road grime when I picked it up; I couldn't operate the rear door without getting filthy hands. A quick hosing would have easily fixed this. I won't return to the Parker store when I do a bigger move next month.Greg Y.

Rented a trailer to move my son from Denver to Dallas in January. We received an e-mail offer for a one month free locker at this location upon arrival. We thought he might need it and took it. Never used the locker and have tried repeatedly to cancel. Katelyn Peper at the local facility never answers and the call rolls to a national call center. When they answer they tell me only the local office can cancel! They say they will send a message. I continue to get nasty past due e-mails and letters from Katelyn. But she still will not answer the local phone. What a joke! Caution: Do not use this location.Tim S.
